What should I bring on my first Wild Boar Hunt?
Ok I will be hunting in Ontario Canada at www.bigtusks.com with some friends for 2 boar....Anyway I would like to know what I should bring? So far this is what I have:

12 Gauge Mossberg
Insulated Rubber Boots
Buck Knife #119

Should I have camo cuz I hear that boars dont see to well anyway...Also what should I do to mask my scent because I hear they have a good sense of smell?...

What will be your method of hunting: Dogs, spot and stalk, or stand hunting?

well dep....i guess you've heard of someone hunting hogs with a shot gun now, cause i do, but I wouldn't say that it's my first weapon of choice, but i have put down a my fair share with the trusty smith and wesson 1000 12 ga

Re: What should I bring on my first Wild Boar Hunt?
I like to use my 50 cal. Muzzleloader, my S&W 629 classic 8 3/8 barrel 44 mag or my bow. Me and Dave Watson took his 12 ga. slug and he dropped his hog with one shot. Never moved after hitting the ground.

Thanks,

God bless,

i've taken one with my bow and a couple with my muzzleloader, i've even dropped them with a .22 (that did take more than shot...8 to be exact in a 175lb sow) i believe it's all 'bout personal prefference
