As you know, I own a 1979 Trojan Tri-Cabin. You chose a great boat. I will be glad to give you any information you want (if I know it). Is yours the type with the flybridge? Where do you boat?

1968 wooden 38' Sea Express
I purchased this beauty in Annapolis, MD in late-May 1999 and brought it down here to Charleston, SC, where I've been living on it ever since. The wood inside is beautiful and in excellent condition. She has twin Chrysler 260hp gas engines. In the spring and summer I try to take it out at least two or three times a week for lunch, sunset, or simple pleasure cruises. Living on a boat is something I've wanted to do for years, and I finally decided there's no time like the present. No rewards without risk, as they say. I would highly recommend it to you if you're considering it, as I have had no regrets whatsoever. I have an enormous television, VCR, CD player, surround-sound stereo, 2 computers, oven w/built-in rotisserie, 3 burners, full-sized fridge, heat, AC, etc... I lack for no comforts of home, to the surprise of many people.

I have a 1990 12 Trojan 12 meter, I'll try to get a pic of it up in the Photo Album section up soon
I've got a 1965 31' Sea Skiff
I love the boat. It's always been kept in a boathouse so it is in great condition. It also is a lapstrke design with twin Chrysler 318's. I've installed an inverter for those days swinging on the hook. A great weekender. I've been using Teak Oil on the fordeck & railings and they have a nice slip free luster.

Re: 1988 12meter convertible/sportfisher
Dear John:
I happenen to see your reply regarding pre-carver trojan parts. We own the last made 1989 11meter convertible made! Marine tech was a great help when we needed pieces and parts. We made a great haul of goodies a few years back. We have loved our pre- Carver Trojan... Unfortunately, we have to sell her as we have to buy a home in florida where we can assist my father who is getiing older. I thought you might be able to help us find someone who would appreciate her. We must sell her ASAP. We have owned her since she was new. My husband even came down to see her being made at the factory. She's cruised in freshwater only and has been professionally maintained. She has all the goodies and is equipped with t/454 Crusaders.Let me know if know anyone who might be looking for a real clean pre-Carver 11 meter. If you refer a buyer to us I am sure we can help you for your efforts with some sort of finders bonus! We keep our boat on Lake Ontario Just east of Rochester, NY.
Thanks for your help. Over the years I have refered alot of people to Marine Tech.
