Where have you heard John lately?
I have wanted to start this thread for a while just because I'm always interested to hear what places his music is being played.
Wednesday night at Chili's, Homelife started playing in the middle of my Southwest Eggroll feast. I refrained from squealing...but that doesn't mean I didn't WANT to.

OK. I've told this story on MSM. I find it funny. Every time my sister takes me to Dr's appts in this town called St. Catherines JM's music stalks us. One time we heard Daughters 3 times on 3 diff radio stations. Another time it was 2 and the last time it was once. I found it quite funny.
And the funny one for tonight is this. Now I love to read books. All types, but the ones that I read the most of are Harlequin Romance books. There's soooooo many diff types of them. One that I read is called Blaze (there's other's like Bombshell, Romance, Superromance etc... you get the picture) anyway, the one called Blaze are the ones that are big on the hottttt sex scenes and stuff like that. Well tonight I was reading one. No word of a lie they actually mentioned him in it. The main woman character was asked what type of music she listened to and she said Classic Rock. Mayer, Linkin Park, and Usher. I just found it soooo funny. It just goes to show that a lot of people do listen to him. Which this author must've heard of him in order to write his name in it. It was published in Apr'05. Like I said I just find it a bit funny since I hadn't heard of him until the Grammys in '05. Just thought I would share my story with you all. Hope you enjoyed it.

On the TV the other day, Bigger Than My Body came on after an ad break. I posted that on MSM somewhere...but it's much better here.

Last week I ran into a random shoe store in the mall (I was trying to avoid being seen by my uncle)..well right when I ran in, NO SUCH THING came on on the radio.
Re: Re:
You know, there was a time, probably about a year or more ago, when I used to hear Mayer everywhere.
I'd go out to eat and, bam, he was there.
I'd go out to the mall, they were playing him there.
I'd walk into freaking Walmart, he'd be playing there.
Now, not so much.
Maybe they're not playing him as much...
or maybe I'm just not listening as closely.
