Re: Which should i be working on? Both what? Both hand to hand and 1h blunt? 1 h and 2 h? hand to hand an 2 h? Didnt make one cause you can only have 5 different choices and that would be 7. Just post your answer. |

Re: Which should i be working on? Why must you make a choice on what you should be working on? Keep all skills maxed at all times. When you level, work on your fists, then 2HB and then 1HB *shrug* -- |

Have to agree with Fender. all are important, cause you never know what weapon you may end up with at what level... 1HB: fighting baton, wu's, jade mace, SoS 2HB: Sage's, Peacebringer, RFS, IFS, Tranq, Ton Po's H2H: Epic item, Fists BTW, I used Fists only till around level 30, and got 1 baton then. I didn't get a wu's till 50, and no good 2HB till 51, but I kept H2H and 1HB maxed since level 17, and am having a hellof a time trying to get 2HB up there now

Re: Which should i be working on? I've been using a Fighting Baton in primary and nothing in secondary so my 1HB, Hand to Hand and Duel Wield went up. As for 2HB, I wouldn't be sure when to start that, I guess if you can stand it, and can carry the weight change the weapons during fights. Something to add is that if you see your stamina dropping considerably switch to hand to hand, will go back up quicker.

Re: Which should i be working on? I was sitting in my 33 Star, when the lights came on. I am taking valuable time and putting into my Skills.....everyone that I can. I am shocked at how I let my weapon skills slide... My H2H Rocked, but I was feeble with a weapon of any sort. My FD was working, but not like it does now, same for my Instill Doubt. And that was not the worst of it. Sure I had a Sense Heading button, but it never worked so I didn't use it. OMG.... I was level 31 when I found I could bind my own wounds!!! I sat way to long doing nothing but hoping for a heal or waiting for a cleric to have enough mana to get me back up and going. All my skills are now close to, or Maxed out for my level. And life is so much better. The hard part was taking the time away from what I thought this game was all about....... But if you can't use all of your skills to your max potential, you have short changed yourself. I sat and hit FD, ID, and SH for hours..... I didn't join groups, but fought beside them because my 2HB was so poor I didn't want anyone relying on me to save then in the event things turned to the worse. Not that I couldn't have put the 2HB away and gone back to my Fists. It just became a matter of personal pride. I will say this as a disclaimer now..... I am not all knowing nor even close. I am learning more everyday about the Best Class in this game in my eyes. And am more then open to any suggestions one may have. If you are just getting started, don't neglect any of the skills you have. Bring each one up to the max that you can. My next point of focus is going to be getting my Weight below 8 stones stripped, and 13 with pack, weapons, food and bandaids. Flame as you see fit.... but 37 for this character, and a 20 and 21 in 2 months isn't doing to bad. I find my self reading more and more. I am on Terris Thule Msg Meeii anytime I am on. PS. I don't carry or use anything I haven't earned. If I have it I took it from something that didn't need it as much as I did. : ) |

Re: Which should i be working on? You should get you 1hb up while your low lvls, but make sure your h2h is up, it will make your attack go up a lot. and you might wanna use your fists when your higher n stuff. |
