Interesting ep, wish I could say it was worth the wait
* The line I've been waiting 3 years to hear - "You never shut up - now get out" Can he please say that every ep until the end? PLEASE?? The only way I would have enjoyed that more would have been if he'd kicked her out while the car was still moving.
* I guess absolute power corrupts absolutely, eh, Mikey? Interesting that he seemed to switch so much more to the alien side than Max ever did.
* at Kyle wondering if Michael would offer a medical plan.
* Max doesn't paint a pretty picture of death. Makes you wonder what happened to him. Of course, his death was a little less than normal. I did like his new attitude, though, about not being so uptight.
* Too much J&I again. *sigh* The writers never did catch on that the viewers just don't want to see them. But I do feel bad for Jesse being trapped now.
* Mr. Evans has gone from being threatening to just plain irritating.
I guess I'll have to rewatch this one. Hope the rest of you have some comments to add. You're still out there, right? Helllllooooooo?

* Did anyone notice that Max ordered Michael to go to Isabel's apartment to wait for Jesse and twice he said he wouldn't do it (to Max and then to Maria in the car) and then he ended up going there anyway??? WTF?

I really had trouble believing Michael would flipout that much. Way to far out of character for even him. I do have to say Brendan did a great job, he really has grown over the last few years as an actor. (I will deny saying any of that in my Behrian heart.)
Did anyone else have trouble understanding all the mumbling actors in this episode Jason and Adam really mumbled more than usual and it was hard to understand what they were saying?
What did Jesse say about he is college days, I really could not hear his answer?
As for Max and Liz, I feel they have been through so much they are just scared to jump back together. Liz is tired of getting hurt and I don't blame her. I did love Max' reaction to what she told her father about wanting to come home for boarding school. Her roommate was a druggie/acoholic who wanted her to get into a three way with their professor....I see fanfics being written with that one now. Max' reaction was so funny you could see him trying imagine the whole scene, almost enjoying it. BOYS

Hello all! I'm here, Karen!
For the most part I liked the ep, felt a little like the end of S1 again, but I agree -- way too much Jesse & Iz again. *sigh*
Some thoughts:
* Kyle won again for the great lines, particularly, "I for one am panicing, don't get me wrong, I love the guy, but I don't want to be part of a group where he's in charge."
* Michael's new 'king' behavior floored me, but I agree, Vicki, Brendan did a pretty good job with it.
* Loved the fight scene with Max/Michael...was well done by both JB & BF. The glass sure looked like it hurt though...OUCH!
* I don't get the Max/Liz thing now...they were hugging and kissing at the end of 'Chant Down Babylon' but now they're on the brakes again?!?! HEELLLLOOOO -- did I miss something???
* Loved the story Liz gave her father -- and that Jeff Parker told Mr. Evans it was none of his business!
* REALLY like Max as more care-free and less uptight, and saying he wants to be with Liz again.
* Laughed when he asked if he was a ghost, Liz hit him on the shoulder with the golf club and said, "Guess not." after he said, "Ouch." Good to see them having fun together again.
Next week's looks weird with Mr. & Mrs. Evans freaking out and then people dressed in masks/capes -- WEIRD.

Ok, what the heck is going on here? They must have a weird sence of royalty on Antar... The King dies.. and next in line to be KING is the guy who was going to marry his sister? His right hand man... wow I guess the king doesn't need royal blood.
What is up with Liz and her powers... no sign of them.. her powers are like her man... they come and go, when they see fit. I too didn't like this distance between Max and Liz.. SHE brought him back.. and oh well lets just go about our business and not deal with the relationship.
Iz/Jessy.. YUCK. I think I sumed it up...
Loved Kyle... he surly has the best lines.
As for Maria, after reading her last interview about not wanting to come back more like work is such a bother to her.. well I don't like her at all... I was glad to see Michael talk to her that way and then kick her to the curb.. woo hoo....

forgive me for sounding like a downer but i thought long and hard about posting because it almost seems to depressing to think about... but anyway...
i was a little, ooh and a little hmm... about this one...
first of all, in the last eppy liz was like "I LOVE YOU MAX!!!" and in this one she's like "i don't know..." i mean the boy died for crying out loud!!! i'd be trying to spend every second with him! (then again, who wouldn't? ) but seriously, they leave vermont all back in love and stuff but then in this one she's still like "things just can't go back to the way they were"... WHAT GIVES?!
the thing that worked best for this eppy though was (as always) the music. ugh, i want to enjoy roswell's final days, but it's so hard to do knowing that it's probably over... for now.
oh yeah, and that article/interview thing with majandra... is it just me or is she always "complaining" about doing the show? i guess that that's what gets me even more, knowing that perhaps the actors don't even want to do this anymore... or haven't wanted to in a long time. BLAH!...

Anyway, I thought of the other thing that I have been racking my brain trying to remember cuz I wanted to comment on it... OMG to Michael's comment to Jesse about Isabel being his. The whole line, "You know she was mine before you? We were together before you were born and we'll be together when you're nothin' but bones." Is this a sign of Michael's true feelings about Isabel??? Although I love the idea of her and Kyle together, I was one of the only ones that liked the baby storyline in S1 -- so maybe I'm a closet Cliffhanger.

I thought the whole thing with Michael claiming Isabel was just another indication that he was slipping more into his alien side (along with the comments to Maria in the car), like once he was king he only had their agenda in mind.
And I liked the pregnancy thing in S1, too, but I had really just started watching the show then and didn't really care about the M&M relationship. Wait...I still don't really care about the M&M relationship

Well, I finally saw the eppy tonight cause they were showing basketball on Tuesday night (grrr).
I really like the episode.
*Michael's freak-out surprised me. I never thought he would go over the edge like that, but I agree with everyone else...Brendan did a great job.
*Loved the Kyle scenes
* I really have no feelings towards Jesse's character and even though I feel bad for the postion he is now in, who cares? I think that he freaked out a little too much
* what was up with the Max/Liz scenes...Why are they taking things so slow after it seemed they were together at the end of CDB. I did like their miniature golf scene...it was cute
