Who died first Harry's Mom, or Dad?**Spoiler**
This Concerns Book 3 and 4.
In book 3 Harry flashed back 3 times to his parents deaths. Pg's 83,179,239-240 of the papper back American version.
From these flashes we learn that James (Harry's father) tells Lilly (Harry's Mother) to take harry and run Voldemort was comming. Lilly begs Voldemort to leave Harry alone as he tells her to get out of the way, but we never actually see anyone die. From these flashes we find that Voldemort was not planning on killing Lilly she was just in the way.
On pg. 667 during Priori Incantatem Vlodemorts wand regergitated the spells he cast starting from most recent ending when James, and Lilly emerged from his wand. Since James came out first that implies he died last.
All of this implies Voldemort was never after either Lilly or James, but was speciffically after Harry.
Re: Who died first Harry's Mom, or Dad?**Spoiler**
I noticed the discrepancy, too. It makes more sense that the dad died first, as Lily did run out to protect Harry. I assume that the Priori Incantatum scene at the end of Goblet was flawed and/or was like that for the drama.
Re: Who died first Harry's Mom, or Dad?**Spoiler**
yes i agree with dareis, harry's dad died first. becuz in the book it said james told lily to run and then there was a busrt of green light. then voldemort came in and lily tried to reason with the dark lord but soon another jet of green light issued from Volde's wand and killed his mother. then the whole episode with harry occured and well that's that.

I agree with Daries and Flammable they are right about everything because if James tried to stop Voldemort and if Lily ran with Harry James was probably dead because he would try to help Lily.

How?!?!?!
I had just read the fourtg book again and in my book Lily comes out first and says to Harry "your father is coming soon to", "your father is on the way" or something like that. I live in Europe So that's in my book. Maybe...i don't know...
