Why are monks nerfed and what we should do to fix it. Greetings all, Ok this is sickening and I am tired of us monk being nerfed because some guild leader gets he rear handed to him by us. I am making this post to gather all monk to fight Verant on the nerf that was done to us a monk Community. Ok we have these nerfs on us: Dmg Migration: Causes us as monks to not avoid the dmg dealt to us by a mob. Feign Death nerf: (this is the big one) 1. Mobs above you lvl can see throught it and still keep attacking you. 2. During a mob cast and you FD when that spell hits you, FD fails and you can be attack. 3. FD failure rate was increase. Ok I know that these do not seem to be a big issue with a lot of monks. But those that it does effect think about it. VI told us that they would fix the FD nerf that was put on us about a month ago, nothing has happened. If you really think about it a lvl 65 monk can only control pull as well as a lvl 17 monk just get FD. We as monks of EQ were known for our great ability to Control Pull, to pull a mob that may for adds, FD and get one mob back to the group, and still not kill the group. Now it is vitually impossible for us to do such a great thing. Ok on the Dmg migration this is the stupidest thing VI has done to us (except FD nerf). The Leader of FoH (Fires of Heaven) on the Veeshan server Furor dueled 5 monks. Each duel both the monk and Furor (he is a warrior) were fully buffed with all 60 to 65 spells. Now each of the duels he had his rear handed to him. Now being that monk compared to a warrior we have next to no AC points far as armor is considered. As also we are Dmg dealers the highest out of all of the melee. Yet Warriors have the most HP and AC out of all classes. Furor complainted to VI about how monks out dmgs a warrior and how we did not take that many hits (like he knows how to play a monk). So VI answered his baby cry and gave us the Dmg Migration nerf, causing us to take more dmg and die quicker. So what I am asking out of all Monk that we as a community do something about this in justice nerfs that is causing the monks of Norrath to suffer for the wrong doings. Basicly I am proposing the every time you get on, that you Report, Petition, email, and Feedback VI to change those wrong doing to the monk and to put us back to the state where monks of Norrath can Control pull, Chain Pull, Multi-Pull mobs and not cause there Group to get kill from the wrong disesion. P.S. Oh yeah and Furor had made many other complaints about other classes. Yotain Rootwalla |
