 Wrestling + Guarantee = SWERVE
Ya'know... I wasn't interested enough in the current *cough* (lack-of) storylines to order the JUDGEMENT DAY PPV to begin with, but I'm trying to keep this discussion positive, so Ima do my best to avoid any name-calling.
How many times have we seen a wrestler on the receiving end of a particularly punishing move, and heard announced, "Oh...that's gotta be it!", only to see the *victims* shoulder magically spring up, or watch a man on the outside of the ring either distract or physically manhandle the ref away from making the 3-count?
I know that I've seen such a thing happen far too many times to count. This established something pretty firmly in my conciousness...that the announcers almost always attempt to *swerve* their audience.
So far, Raven has declared that Hulkamania will finally be laid to rest by Deadman, Inc at the JD PPV. This tells me that Hogan is going to win.
He also said that Edge was gonna get his head shaved after he loses to Angle, which affirms to me that Angle gets the buzzcut tonight.
At this point, the final results of the JD PPV are still unclear, but I hope they actually *did* manage to swerve me, and that Hogan & Edge actually do the *job* tonight.
Otherwise, they might want to change their announcing styles slightly, because it seems to me like a dead giveaway to announce the winners beforehand, knowing full well that the men forcasted to win have always lost in the past.

 There *is* a God
I'm not one to say "I told you so", & this would be fortunately one of the few times that I would have no right to do so...
Yup.... they *swerved* me.
Only slightly, but I'm satisfied.
....at least I'm much happier than I was when I originally wrote the post above.
But that's almost a SPOILER in & of itself, if you've known me for any time at all.
I will make a few more comments after tomorrow night's RAW.

Judgement Day.
Judgement Day was a bit of a joke.
Am afraid (haven't seen SLACKDOWN yet) that Hogan's job will complete his transformation back to Hulkamania, and next time he emerges it'll be to Real American and he'll be shaved.
I don't like Edge; he speaks too much like Keannu Reeves. You give him anything worthy to say, and it comes off sounding like a joke. His whole demeanor sucks for a face who is meant to be taken seriously.
I thought he'd lost to Angle, but turn heel - you know, can't beat them, join them sort of thing. Then instead of shaving his head clean, he'd cut it to spikes to get rid of the face-affectation.
All the matches which were repeats from the last PPV simply had the reverse ending - Guererro jobbed to RVD, Angle jobbed to Edge. BTW, abso-effing-lutely appalling the way they treat Angle.
At least if he was going to job, he could've still shaved Edge's head to increase his heat.
WWE is an effing joke; Angle's one of the best wrestlers and talkers there, and he's treated as midcard fodder. Jericho earned a bit of respectability back, but was a joke for a champion. Hopefully when Benoit comes back they won't screw him, too.
