Fade to picture of Eliza Dushuku with red hair that has black streaks in it going through some CD’s in a music store.

Voiceover(whisper): Hey, babe. Did ya miss me?

Voiceover(normal): No…go away.

Voiceover: Awww…poor Mike didn’t miss her little ‘Ress?

Voiceover: No, ‘Ress, I didn’t miss you. In fact, it was nice to have some quiet time to myself without having to worry about you coming out.

Mike looks around, slightly nervously, glancing at a young man (Mathew Lillard) nearby who is going through some CD’s a bit farther away, trying hard not to look like he’s checking her out.

Voiceover: Go for it. He’s cute.

Voice over: Would you shut up?

The young man approaches a bit shyly.

Guy: Um, hi…I’m Daniel.

Mike blinks like she has something in her red and black eyes, then smiles. She raises and eyebrow.

Mike: Hi, Daniel. I’m ‘Ress

Flash of light. Fade to Mike driving down the street in a black ’72 Dodge Challenger.

(Start song: Good Charlotte’s Intro)

Voiceover: My name’s Michaela Blade Xiang, but everybody calls me Mike. I’ve been on my own for years, and only recently have I come here…to Bayville.

Flash of light. Fade to a picture of a mugger looking guy standing over a young woman, holding a gun. A shadow of a person passes behind him, and he spins around, finding nothing there. Again, the shadow passes behind him, and he turns again, terror on his face. Slowly, the shadow steps into view, silhouetted in the moonlight. It’s a person in a black trench coat and a motorcycle helmet. The person stands silently, slowly clenching their fists.

(Slow in song)

Voiceover: ‘Ress is always with me, in the back of my mind, talking to me. I’m usually the one in control, but when she comes out…she’s the one that makes me do things I couldn’t do normally. She’s the one with the power.

(Jump to up tempo part of song)

The mugger starts to raise his gun to shoot at the newcomer, but the helmeted figure is already in motion. A boot catches the mugger’s gun hand, knocking the weapon away. Two fists slam into the mugger’s chest, throwing him back against the alley wall. The boot catches the mugger in the throat, holding him about an inch off of the ground.

Mugger (Strangled): Who…Who are you?

(Pause in music)

Voice from behind the helmet: Me? I’m the Murderess…the hunter of hunters…and you’re my prey.

(Jump back to up tempo part)

Flash of light. Fade to shot of Mike riding insanely fast down a crowded city street, on a sport bike. Cut to Mike beating a body sized punching bag with incredible speed. Cut to Mike pulling Daniel toward her for a kiss. Cut to Mike standing inside a ring of men at least a foot taller than she is. Cut to black.

Cut to Mike’s face. She blinks, and smiles again.

Voiceover: When she comes out…I’m just an afterthought.

Cut to black. The words Murderess flash across the screen in black with a red backlight.
