Controller
I use a standard Parma controller with a 45 ohm resistor for all of my cars, and I'm competitive in most races I enter, even against those folks who need hundreds of dollars worth of electronics on their pumped-up controllers.

Re: controllers
I use either a 45 or a 60. If the car is "hot" and has a lot of "oversteer" coming out of the turns, you might want to try a 60!

Tjet controller
A 45 ohm will work on most tracks, although you might want a 60 and a 35 as well if you race on a number of tracks. ...Tom

45 and 75
I use a 45 ohm Econo for almost everything, tjets to polymer SG+, but will break out the stock Tyco/Tomy 75 ohm controller when the tjet track has a lot of alternating or tight curves and a relatively short straight because they're more forgiving of spastic trigger movements.

Nj
A hobby shop in NJ sells a 60 ohm econo controller with switch to go to 45 or 65.
It works great for t-jets.
