Wedding?
In the previews for next week - Okay, so was that Max and Liz in the tux and wedding dress kissing (perhaps Liz wondering about what could have been) or did the WB toss a look-alike couple our way as bait?
Major BLOOPER found in commercial
Geez the show has even aired and yet I have already fround a major blooper.....Any one else see it. Give up? When they are showing downtown, they used a clip that has to be at least 5-10 years old. What happened to the Fremont Expirience? Was it abducted and taken to Area 51 for the episode. OK! I know I am being picky, at least use a new stock clip rather than the first one you dig up.

M&L
Thanks, Marice, but I'm trying to remain unspoiled again. After I posted that, I freeze-framed the shot of the wedding couple and realized it was them. There are certain features (*cough*ears*cough*) that gave it away!
BTW - loved the shot of Isabel, Alex and Kyle running for the door with their stacks of cash that Michael gave them. I guess we know who the partiers are!
VIVA LAS VEGAS Behind the Scenes
The WB has posted another story in their series of behind the scenes on "Roswell". It is for VIVA LAS VEGAS! Here is the link.

Re: Viva Las Vegas
From the cable guide:
Michael's nerves are shot, so he decides that he and Max should take a trip to Las Vegas to blow off steam. Isabel and Maria discover the boys' plan and invite themeselves to go along. The Tess, Kyle, Liz and Alex hear the news and join the road trip.

Viva Las Sleepless
I can't sleep. Too much cold medication. *sigh* So, I will post my thoughts now (it's almost midnight here). I know you west-coasters are probably setting up the VCRs right now, so please pass this by if you don't want to be spoiled.
First off, speaking of spoiled - Tina, I did NOT know ahead of time about the M&L thing. But, OMG, I called that one! I nearly sh*t myself when that happened! (You know what I am talking about) Keep that e-mail I sent you - it proves I'm psychic!
Okay, my 2 cents (or $3000):
*What did Max and Isabel spend their 3K on? Max spent his on bail, I would assume, but what about Is? And did Liz blow hers playing pinball?
*Loved Michael giving Liz the 3rd degree about lecturing and moralizing and not being able to have fun. Loved that he called her 'exhausting'!
*Loved Tess's comment about Kyle having his head stepped on in gym!
*Loved Michael using his money to help Maria's dream come true. He's a softy at heart. Speaking of hearts, he broke mine when he kept looking toward the door to see if Max had come back (even though he acted like he didn't care).
*Loved the way Tess hung her head and left the hotel room after the sheriff yelled that he hadn't better have to go get her.
*It was obvious from the beginning that Michael wanted some quality time with Max, that he missed his friend, but it appears that Max was oblivious to it. You have to wonder about the fun they supposedly used to have growing up - Max has seemed a tad uptight since the beginning. I was really hoping he'd let go for once, but he never really did.
*Loved that Max couldn't look at Michael when he was apologizing to him at the coffee stand. To me (no offense, fellas) it was a typical guy thing to be uncomfortable talking about feelings and how much another guy means to him.
*Wow - the M&L thing. I was a little surprised that he brought it up to her, but I think it must have seemed very real to him. Maybe Max is going to find out in a way that none of us has guessed yet. (She scratches her chin, wondering) I think the fact that he flashed this is going to be VERY, VERY important. I have theories, but I think I'll stew on them before I share them.
*The monolgue by Maria at the beginning was a clever and unique way to remind the audience of the whole Vegas elopement thing.
*Why do you think Max was bailing on the trip? I don't think he was p*ssed - I think Michael hurt his feelings because what he said was true and Max couldn't deal with it. Interesting that it was a vision of Liz that made him stay.
*Loved Kyle quoting "The Gambler". So, Kenny Rogers is a god now, huh?
Favorite line:
'BYOG-string'
Can't wait to see everyone else's comments. Just about show time for you guys. *sigh* and I'm still not sleepy
Re: Viva Las Sleepless
Don't have much time tonight, but just wanted to say that I thought VLV was pretty cool. I thought the whole thing with Is and that guy was quite contrived, but overall a cute and very funny eppy. I had a lot of the same questions as you Karen, but at least it wasn't as bad as THC. Nice stand alone episode.

Re: Viva Las Vegas
Karen, I know!!! I sent you an email saying how you hit the nail on the head...CRAZY...maybe you are psychic!!! Too weird though!
Now, here's my $3,000 worth (since it'll be much more like that instead of 2 cents!)
*First and foremost (Brian are you listening?) -- LOVED the M/L thing!!! Was very cool that Max, first of all, saw the vision...on his own no less--WEIRD, but like Karen said, I think it's very significant. I just knew he would show back up at dinner! And the dance scene...*sigh*...waited for that little bit of closeness for a long time. I, too, was quite surprised how he told her so quickly...I wasn't really expecting that. But I think it's great, and maybe that's her way to tell him the truth and be just as honest and open with him. I think both Jason and Shiri looked wonderful at the dinner/dance. Just...dagamit!...I wish she could've/would've had the time to talk to him about it! The fact that they left it hanging there WIDE OPEN...typical! But hopefully we'll have that moment between the two of them very soon! <3 OH, and too cute how they entered the hotel room in the morning (when Valenti was there) and were holding hands!!!
*Speaking of Valenti...that was my other favorite part of this episode...Laughed my a*s off!!! Bill did such a great job and it was so funny at the same time as understanding his concern about ALL of them disappearing. Did anyone else notice Maria's slight grin as he walked in front of her and they showed her face, and then she wiped it off quickly?! GREAT scene!
*Loved Tess's excuse to Liz about being little/short...I KNOW how that one goes!
*Also, like that comment to Kyle from Tess about someone stepping on his head.
*When first saw Tess's new hairstyle, thought what's up with that...then it kinda grew on me, but by the end of the eppy it was bothering me...just don't like it on Emilie. Like the soft curls much better.
*Liked Katy/Isabel's hair much better with the curls, too.
*Great scene with Michael checking the door for Max/Isabel, and how he introduced Maria and doing that for her! *sigh* Laughed when she hung up on him in jail on his "one phone call"!!!
*Interesting, didn't really think how Max/Isabel spent their $3k. Maybe Isabel spent some/most of hers on that wedding?
*Loved how Maria got Kyle off the Blackjack table...too funny!
*Yeah, Karen, I too, was hoping Max would loosen up a bit and go wild and crazy and have a good time, but all in all things seemed to turn out pretty well. Think it was great, yet kind of out of character for Max, that he jumped so quickly on leaving town for a road trip when Michael first presented it to him in his room. Kinda expected more of a disagreement about it. Cool though that he just said OK.
*And the whole Max-not-being-able-to-look-at-Michael thing...yep, definitely a guy thing!
*Thought the intro, the whole Maria dialogue thing, was kinda weird and out of character for the show....but kinda funny and remindful of what happened to M/L in Vegas. Just kinda struck me as a weird way to open, never seeing that on this show before. But laughed at her comment that she "hates that picture, there that's better!"
*Didn't like the whole Isabel/Dave (best man) thing...just felt like "what is she doing?!" With a total stranger? BTW, the song that was playing during their dance in the hotel room scene was Dido's "Thank You". Good song.
***Sorry so long. I don't mean to make them so long, they just turn out that way.
*To end with my favorite quote:
"TESS! Don't MAKE me come back in there!!!" LMAO
Really liked this one, funny and sweet...definitely will be one I will rewatch...and I agree, Brian, much better than THC!

Re: Like Father, Like Son
OK, bringing this one back up for a minute. Maybe someone can enlighten me up a bit. I was reading through the WB MB, which I rarely do, and through some bad grammar and spelling, this person brought up an interesting question. In EOTW, when F. Max and Liz succeeded in changing the future, I'm assuming "future" means from the minute F. Max disappeared. Meaning eloping in Vegas when they were 19 never happened in this new "future"... as far as we know. Now, how did Max get a flash of the Vegas wedding? Does it mean that he got a flash from the old "future", which would be odd, b/c wouldn't he have just fancied it if he got a flash of something that, ultimately, never happened? Or does it mean that he got a flash from the new "future", of which he and Liz really do end up getting married in Vegas despite the fact that the future has been altered. I'm sorry if I confused anyone. As much as I love that scene, I hope this wasn't just one of the writers' many booboos.

MARIA
I think the tear in time is causing Max to have memories of the other time line. FMax caused the two timelines to touch each other, enabling Max to see what his future could have been.
I know there are some Sfi-Fi buffs out there that can explain this better than me.

Good question Maria! I puzzled over this too. How could Max have a flash of something since now that the future has been changed, technically never happened? The only explanation I could find, was one I read on the spoiler boards long ago. This flash was a residual flash that Max just happened to pick up. I wish he had happened to pick up on the fact that Liz and Kyle never slept together! Now that would've been interesting!
