Okay, without further adieu (big drum roll here), it's Midwest Max's Red Carpet Review!!

Kyle - Amazingly handsome in a suit, although I do wish someone would figure out what to do with his hair.

Tess - Beautiful dress, too tight on her, but what else is new? Go ahead, Brian, flame me, but there isn't a lady out there who isn't agreeing with me.

Alex - Oddly Asian look, but it worked on him.

Isabel - Absolutely stunning.

Maria - Who dressed her - Mother Nature? I was waiting for her to break into the "Age of Aquarius".

Liz - Beautiful dress, but she needed a less 'heavy' necklace and someone needs to fix her hair.

Max - Absolute perfection. *sigh*

Michael - Surprisingly handsome in the dark suit.

Okay, now that I've done the Joan and Melissa thing, I guess I can make some comments on the ep.

*I didn't get the feeling of Liz running away from Max. To me, it felt like she was running to something (or someone) rather than away. I almost felt relieved for her.

*Shiri and Jason did an incredible job with the awkward dance scene and how by the end there was just nothing left to say. That scene contrasted wonderfully with the next one of Liz dancing without inhibition with Maria after she'd told Max he was suffocating her. Poor Max

* at Maria and Kyle talking about Jim and Amy being embarrassing. I still think they would make great siblings!

*I like the silent scene at the beginning of Liz twirling on the bowling lanes.

*I agree with you, Tina, that things seemed kind of disjointed, especially for an ep written by Jason Katims. Maybe the missing ep is to blame for that.

*I actually like Sean.

*Tina, I have to disagree (I know - a shocker!) with you about Isabel waiting for Alex to ask her to go. I thought it was very touching that she made it his decision. I also thought that his honesty with why he had to tell her no when she mentioned it earlier was very sincere.

* at Sean having to stay at least 1000 feet from the school, then offering to wait there for Liz after school.

*Wow - I wonder what Michael would have to say to Maria if he knew she broke into his apartment. Those two have problems. (No! Duh!)

The next eps look like they will be a little tense. Hmm, some ugliness between Max and Liz. Don't worry, Brian - it's just repressed sexual tension!

BTW - I didn't see anyone in a powder blue tux. That's not the way I remember prom!!!
