I went through the highway part on slow motion well hey the go by fast. (this is my reasoning for being a true crazed fan.. come on. slow motion.. what is happening to me??) and sure enough its the same.. Looked at all the parts with that area.. wow those people at Crashdown boards are really good.. If I am crazed.. what are they??

First off, Brian - truce. I mean you no disrespect. I don't like Tess. I like Emilie and I think she is a good actress, but as I have said in my previous posts, those writers need to give her character some quality that will make the rest of us warm to her.
IMM - I noticed the whole highway thing and thought it was stange, too, that Max was seeing that. I wasn't sure if it just meant he was thinking of her because he was worried about her, but you did bring up a good point that maybe he was seeing things through Liz's eyes. I hadn't thought of that before. I haven't read the Crashdown theories, so I'm not sure what the symbol is supposed to mean. I for one would like Liz to just be human (but special, of course )
Brian - I hadn't thought about Liz spazzing in the car as acting strange, but you're probably right. I kind of wrote if off as being scared, but she was acting a little flaky for Liz. Good point.

Just wanted to let you know that I, too, have a scrolling bar on the bottom of all pages on this board and I use Internet Explorer. It's a bit wider than the screen, so I have to scroll over to see all of the post(s). Just wanted to say more than Brian was experiencing this.

You got me wondering about these "visions" Max had and the whole symbol thing. Is it a symbol Max is standing next to or Michael??? I have to go back and check this out. Oh, and on Crashdown or FF, where do you read this stuff about Liz's importance to the aliens...is the on those "Liz's importance to the Alien's Mythology" threads??? Just curious because I haven't read any of them so not sure if that's where you've read some of this stuff.

Forgot about that scene with Izzy using her powers to shut the door in Max and Michael's faces...
And, I forgot about Tess' explanation to Max about tapping into something bigger/stronger with the fire thing. So, maybe you are right and it was real and that's why there were flakes of skin flying around like when Izzy killed Whitaker (again with fire/sparks). Good point.

Tina, it was at the crashdown threads about Liz's importance to the whole thing.. They have talked about the symbol thing before... and the first time I saw it I knew it was something more. I believe it is Michael standing by all the symbols. Because that would put Liz, Michael, and Iz. In his visions. They have the spoiler of the Christmas show on Crashdown. I don't think its a spoiler just a SMALL preview.. It doesn't say what I want it to.. so well its not a spoiler to me! I think they save all the juicy stuff.. for the show.

I have to add this one.. I was once again watching WO.. when
I slowed it down on Max's Third vision.. Well you can't see this
unless its slow.. but the first thing he sees is what looks like
an over view of the of maybe the city. or desert.. then the mountain.
. then the rock.. You really can't see it on regular speed..
believe me I have tried.. but slowing it down just when Nick
puts his hand on Max when he is all leaned over.. I just thought
it was weird.. why put it there if you can't see it unless going
in slow motion.. too weird..

IMM - I've notice the "too fast to see" flashes also.
When Max kisses Liz in Blind Date, I did the slow motion (not
because I'm a pervert - because I couldn't catch the whole flash!
) and there is a flash of Max healing Liz that you can't see
if you run it at regular speed. Maybe they're trying to do the
subliminal thing. I don't know. Anyway, what do you think the

I did think of something interesting
today, though. Of all of the podsters, Max is the only one who

Brian - I wasn't trying to stir anything up. We just delared a truce, right? I was honestly wondering what that meant. Truthfully, I think Max was having memories of those closest to him, and I don't think he and Tess have formed that bond yet. He's had Isabel and Michael his whole life, and he's been in love with Liz since he saw her, but he doesn't know Tess yet. Just found it curious and I was hoping to open it up to some debate without the unnecessary Tess bashing.

Here is what I was wondering about his flashes.. Ok.. Now he was there with Liz in that flash of her.. but how did he have those flashes of Michael and Iz? I mean he wasn't with either on of them during what was happening in those flashes.. I just found it strange.. I thought the one of Iz was when she was in the Pod chamber talking to Mom O Gram.. or her real mother at the end of Surprise...
Brian,,, Think of it this way... He didn't have flashes of Maria or Alex either.. so well if that makes you feel any better.. or He didn't have any of his mother or father.. So its not just little ol' Tess that was left out.
