Roswell, the Movie
I heard from an acquaintance of mine, who works part time in the Roswell production office, about plans for a feature film called "Roswell, the Movie". It will be released as soon as possible after the TV series is cancelled this season (if it is). If it isn't cancelled, they're shooting for next summer.
Most of the characters and actors will be the same, the plot will be pretty much the same, and the emphasis will continue to be a balance between the relationships and the science fiction aspects of the story line. Because it will be a feature film with a higher budget, we can expect to see more special effects and more intensity in the relationships.
One major change will occur during the film. Max will discover that Tess is not what she claims to be, i.e "his soulmate". Instead she is an evil person who tried to break up Max's marriage on their home planet. Max had been in a loving marriage with his wife and loved her even more deeply than he loves Liz. As the story unfolds, Liz will be very understanding and will remain friends with Max. The movie will be rated either "PG-13" or "R".
The producers have been looking for an actress to play Max's wife. They're looking for someone who will have great chemistry with Jason and will be able to portray that in the intense love scenes she will have to do with him. They believe that they have found the perfect girl for this role. She is an unknown with little or no acting experience, but fits what they're looking for perfectly. My friend in the production office says she is sworn to secrecy and will not give me the name of this actress. But she did say she would send a candid picture of her, which I will post as soon as I get it. Edited by: Ryal at: 9/19/00 10:29:57 am
Here is the actress who is to play Max's alien wife as described in the previous post.
Roswell, the Movie, as described in this and the previous post is a work of fiction brought to you by the Hawkeye Fiction Writers Association of Sioux City, Iowa. It is a pathetic attempt at humor by the writer.
You really had me going. I think the actress is a great choice. I have met her before and seen her interact with Jason. Their chemistry is even better than his with Shiri.

Re: Roswell, the Movie
Oh, my God, perfect choice. Jason must really think she is soooo hot if he wants her to play his wife in the feature film. I'd pay my $8.00 to see this. When is the movie coming out?? I heard it will take all of two weeks to shoot. And they are all kissing and ahem scenes. Lucky girl.
Re: Roswell, the Movie
Oops! Maria! You did it again. I keep telling her that Edgar is going to find out about her using her screen name, but she never listens.
Thanks again for the great laugh Ryal. I needed it after the crazy weekend I had.
Re: Roswell, the Movie
Ryal: OMG, you had me talking back to the computer. "Loved her even more deeply than he loves Liz." I'm screaming NO, NO, NO! Don't do that to the Max/Liz storyline! But wait. It's one of the LV Crew, SisterofNight, I think. Oh well then, nevermind. Perfect casting. Can I be the understudy? Edited by: Kaycm at: 9/19/00 4:21:44 pm

Re: Roswell: The Movie
OH, WOW!!! I was chosen to be Max's wife??? Well, I sure hope this movie has an NC-17 rating then. hehe...
Thanks for the news Ryal, I'm going to have to get my SAG card and kick the blonde chick outta his life.

SisofNight:
Glad to hear from you. You were the only LVCM member who hadn't responded. So you want an "NC-17" instead of the suggested "PG-13" or "R" rating. I'm not sure my heart could take that
Vicki:
If I'm one of the writers, I'll insist on playing a small part, especially if it's an "NC-17", and will find a way for Topolsky to come back to life. After all, it is science fiction. I would play a small role such as her sugar daddy.
