Re: Our beloved Roswell Pets!!
This is our lab Sandy. She's about 15 years old now and getting along in age. The picture was taken 3-5 years ago. The other animals on this picture are dead now. Coco (not CoCa), the airedale, died at the age of 17 a couple of years ago. Kitty was killed about 4 years ago either by an accident or foul play. We don't know for sure.

Ryal - They're so cute lying next to each other It's amazing and very fortunate that your dog lived until 17.

Mattia: That is such a cool story about your guppies! I honestly believe you! I've seen my fish do that from time to time. But it's just so cool that they were the "max" and "liz" fish! : It IS destiny!

I've posted dogs and cats here before, so here's a picture of our desert tortoise Myrtle (my wife's not too original with animal names). She wandered into our yard over 25 years ago and is still with us. They live very long lives. She's eating some lettuce in this pic.

We got a kitty recently. Finally got some cute pics uploaded to the computer. He's a Siamese Mix. Looks like a tiger mix, with his cute stripes and all. We weren't sure about a name, we wanted something unique. It was down to 2 names: Avalanche and Aspen. We decided to go with Avalanche. He's about 14 weeks now. We've had him about 3 weeks and it's amazing how much he's grown and how long/lean he's getting...although he does have a little "buddah belly" (as I like to call it) showing that he's eating quite well.

We have three cats now, and the youngest of them likes to watch TV and react. Two or three years ago a USAF B2 Stealth bomber flew over at the beginning of the Rose Parade. This cat looked at the TV and apparently thought the plane was a bird and tried to get it. Since then we've tried to get pictures of her doing such things.
This one was taken during an post game interview with my son (who is a sportswriter that covers the Anaheim Angels baseball team) over KCAL Channel 9 in Los Angeles (he's the one blinking).
We tried to get a picture of her watching Roswell, but were unsuccessful. But we did get this picture of her watching JAG.

We've heard that desert tortoises live over 100 years. We have no idea of how old ours was when she wandered into our yard. She hibernates from late October till early April. Sleeps in a box in our garage. The rest of the year she's in our yard. Not really a great pet. She no trouble, but really no personality either. Interesting animal though.
Belated congratulations on the DBacks World Series victory.
