m is for medium
mh - medium hard
so try to use the m tyres if you can.. i would..
now..now.. everyone talking about getting the 48 working without really saying what the have done .. higher tyre pressure ? by how much ? .. lower tyre pressure ?
don't mention it if you are not going to tell others what to do to get the 48 working ... ha..ha...ha...
Re: Re.Re:M-MH
A great idea except everyone has different car setup, so what might be good for one won't necessarily work for another.
Gordon Leven recommended a starting point of 34 all round but we ended up with much lower pressures in the front of the Civic, around 26, and just under the recommended pressures in the rear.
When the car came off the track (at Wakefield) the pressures were spot on but it took Q and 2 races to find the optimum settings.

We found the same on A032's with my old Suzuki (ie another light front wheel drive) the fronts have to come down a lot from the recomended, but it gave a hot pressure of 34 and even temps across the tread. And they wore nicely as well. Backs, nothing you can do to the heat in them, so I just used the pressures for balanceing the car, anywhere between 24 and 38 psi

If you want to believe that because it makes you sleep better, then go ahead.

Yokohama AO48 - Control Tyre Info????
M is for Medium & MH is for Medium Hard. Thats true. Check the yokie web site. We are using the Medium Hard in 245 X 40 X 17. Took us a Qual & Three races to find were the window was to get them to last a race distance. As you may have seen with the spin in front of Dave on the vids( no rear grip, tyres over pressured)
