Re: Nationals entants.
Anyone have more details on times etc. Because im going out there, and a friend is coming down from Canberra for it, but we have no idea on timing of anything.
The Mallala site just says "Twilight Meetings" which is terribly useful, and the IPRASA site is catered to competitors. Anyone got some other information?
Also, there is the possiblity that i will not be able to attend the saturday, anyone heading out from the City sort of area who can give my mate a lift?

Yeah, that's right Dave... I got an email of the fields today and Dave Skillender and PJ are both on on the entry list as well as Uebergang... Shame the mighty wagon isn't making the trip but if you're reading this Uncle Phil i'll happily steer it for you if you want it driven at 10% of it's potential...
Leanne did great in the F3 the other day and i guess she's probably more inclined to focus that way now...
I think i counted 37 entries on the updated list but then agin maths was never one of my favourite subjects...

Re: Nationals entants.
At the QIPRA meeting last night we were told there were 45 entries and after much discussion, we came up with 3 reasons why the field was so small.

Hi All,
Before people start speculating or coming up with conspiracy theories as to why there are only 45 entries I decided to set the record straight.
Yes we have 45 cars entered for the event.
It may only show 43 on the supp regs, but two entries were lost in the post and these people are now entered.
Yes we had sixty pre entries; I have rung or tried to ring each and every one of them. This is how I found out two entries had been lost in the post.
8 cars either have blown motors, accident damage or are waiting for parts.
2 Cars have been sold
2 Drivers I could not contact
2 Have other financial commitments that have taken priority
1 had a change of heart
Yes numbers are a bit lower than we expected but three of the above cars are from South Australia. I these guys can't make it I can see why some people from interstate can't either.
I'm sure all those who attend will have a great time.

I didnt pre enter or enter as I thought my new car woudnt be ready...and yep I was right...I would have liked to have entered, as the old owner was keen to see the car... as I bought it from SA.

Hey Takai, Have a look at your inbox mate, i just sent you a message with an indication of the timings for the weekend.
We are heading offtomorrow, and looking forward to the trip, including the night race on Saturday!!
1. Mallala is a long way from most IPRA competitor's homes.
2. Mallala isn't the most exciting circuit in Australia.
3. The NSW guys are afraid of getting clobbered.
Scott,
I hope the event goes well and it's a big success for IPRASA. I also hope that you guys send just as many cars up for our Nationals as we've sent for yours. It's the same distance.

Thanks KE, your a legend.
Between you and Natsoft, we should be able to figure something out. All we need now is a Bigpond live stream like the V8's and we will be right. Actually, they are running this weekend as well arn't they ?

I've heard rain is on the cards.....if so, look out for some of the front wheel drive unders, they could be even more competitive.
