tango big ups on that post and this is what i have to say:
i love to dance and i love to win but i love to dance 1000zillion million billion times more than i love to win so therefore i will dance to my hearts content, dancing for nobody but myself, i'd love to become a nasty b-boy its so much fun and now i remember why i've kept at it for so long, the best things in life are free and i'm just glad i have the ability to move and become my own version of the music i hear, cuz some people aren't so lucky, i feel alot better dancing for the love of dancing instead of dancing to try to win at an international competition that requires me to have all these moves when i have moves in my mind that nobody else does, and people who think footwork is just footwork do not see the underlying factors of footwork look closely and hopefully you will find it, cuz its ALOT of fun
i've been at this on and off since i was in grade 8, and for awhile all you ever hear about was btx, intrikit, BIIB, and a few other old heads... when i was in highschool i watched all the old school vids that every bboy watched and bite for the longest time... that's bboy summit 3, and all the rocksteady vids, and my personal fave.... radiotron.... i finally saw some footage of TO bboys later on and that was this old event where tactical squad, btx, intrikit and BIIB were all going at it, and i tell you... THAT WAS BATTLING.... you see these older heads and what they were about.... they had minimal power, with the exception of joe, and longshot...shoot, tango had awesome power back then, but you'll only see it at practice (arahbask!!those were the best practices!). we all know the excitment of simple 'crowd pleasers'.... and a lot of the times they were necessary to win the crowd along with the guys who knew their stuff.... the point im getting at is that there's a big difference between power and style that's below the surface.... there are moves that anyone call pull off and there are some that no one could've thought of.... the 'crowd' doesn't know the difference, but all the real bboys do... so you can all complain about how your moves were harder, or that you danced more, or you had more 'foundation'.... but us older heads know what really went on... man, it's good to see a lot of kids are bboying now, but the quality i saw at B&E reminded me of a b2du... no offence to shebang, your still my girls and the jam was still dope and i had a lot of fun that night
but i guess that's all i have to say for now till i ramble on even more

this is buff from mec, sorry i don't go by that name anymore.... and what i meant was that since b2du was an "amateur" comp, and a lot of the guys at B&E were amateurs.... with a few exceptions of course... but i know what im talking about since i was in the very 1st b2du.... don't get me wrong, im not saying your jams were wack, just pointing to the fact is was an "amateur" comp... mind you, in its later days it was looking less and less like an amateur event, but there were always kid crews there trying to make a name for themselves... you get what im saying?

BS i remember fss 8 you had no faith in anyones solos and you made everyone do pure routines flyte or me never had a chance in you made the mtl guys go in more than anyone
and then city vs city 5 when we were getting smoked by boston 5 on 10 you stood in the side and made faces like we were getting smoked
we said go in dyzee and you just looked at us and said no with the stupid grin on your face like we were getting smoked still
or when you took jessefecks to LOTF when you coulda taken jester or someone else from tdot

i wasn't even happy with wut i did in the battle, it felt like we were all waiting for the one and only DYZEE , but he just turned us down. so it seemed like we just did a set to get it over and done with..
i recall we were fuked last second , there was only like 2 of us in da event at the time. they called up hu will b battling next. Then i heard u were gonna help us out along with skittles.. but i spoke to skittles and he was injured.. plus he had to maintain a gud place in 1 on 1s ( top 3 !!) but u came out wit us to battle. so were u just gettin a better seat or were u battling wit us ?!?cause obviously one you did

but i do know dyzee as a person... and he's only been tryin to do what he can for the Toronto scene.. i really dont think he'd try hurt the scene on purpose or just sit out on a battle for toronto to just lose.

Damn right, if it wasn't for Dyzee coming over here (good ol blighty) in 2003 and promoting Toronto and all the b-boys there (not just SNC, but giving credit where credit is due), you wouldn't have repped at the UK's last year. And when he did get the go ahead for the UK's, instead of getting his crew over, he wanted to put Toronto on the map and got the best b-boys from T.O to represent instead.............The guy has passion for your scene in a BIG way, why the f**k are you giving him hate for it?? Whenever he's come over here, he's given props where they are due about the T.O scene and not taken the glory by himself. If we had people like Dyzee over here helping our scene, b-boys would be ecstatic about it, you shouldn't be so hasty in your hate when you have someone willing to give so much.
Anyways, there's enough b-boy politics in the UK to deal with let alone getting involved with foreign affairs, but the hate needs to stop, beef is cool, thats all part of hip-hop, but unecessary hate can go take a long walk home.

Trebz man, i thought you were cool with me for a minute but now i see what your feeling inside. Seriously, you have got to be kidding me. The only reason why i didnt help you guys at CVC was because like i said, i wasnt ready to battle. You dont have any idea what i was going through. Did you even really see me break the entire jam? i practised here and there on the sides, but that was it. So are you mad that i couldnt save you or something?
And for Freestyle session 8, i defiantely didnt have faith in a few peoples solos. You are one track minded when it comes to bboying, and you still think you can get away with just having some neat tricks with minimal dancing and footwork. I was fine with scramble marcs having a solo, cuz i know he knows what bboying really is. And i was trying to orgainize COMANDOS for everyone to get a turn. Its not my fault that some of you messed it up.
Now that Supernaturalz has been a bit more quiet recently and i havent been battling so much, i see who was our friends, and jsut putting up a front.
Also trebz, lotf i wasnt invited. I went to seattle to visit jessefecks at the same time lotf was on. We started from the very bottom.
