Alex
"Alex, dude, help me with something in the other room?" Aiko asked the big man. He followed her into her bedroom. After she shut the door, she turned back to Alex. "So, what do you think of them?" she asked, nodding her head towards the door and out into the room of girls, whose giggles could still be heard through the door.

Alex shrugged, "They're alright."

"You're hopeless," Aiko said, smacking him affectionately on the arm, "How am I to find you a girlfriend if you think they're all just 'okay'?"

Alex just shrugged, and a smile almost played around the corners of his lips. Aiko rolled her eyes and gave a false sigh of exhasperation. She walked over to the door and opened it, letting the large man out first. She followed, carefully closing the door. A few of the people conversing in the room apparently changed conversation quickly. Aiko sat down and invited Alex to sit next to her.

"So what are we talking about?" she asked. "And," she added, "By the way: addressing the prior discussion: Merry is definitely the best. Although Eomer is cool too."

These shocking statements launched the whole crew into more animated discussion and general merriment.

Re: Muddle Earth RPG
Alix barely noticed as Aiko and Alex sat down beside her. She was glued to the battle scene on the film.

"Oh God," Jade moaned. "She's gone all weird and glassy-eyed again."

Jade tossed a sofa cushion at Alix, who grabbed it out of the air without even glancing around. Then she threw it back at Jade, hitting her, again without looking.

"Shut up," Alix said. "I wanna watch the movie."

Movie
The movie played on, with Amy's and Jade's occasional comments. The pizzas arrived and were soon demolished by the entire crew.

"You know, if I was stuck in Middle Earth I'd have to introduce these people to pizza." Amy said, finishing off a pizza crust.

"Yeah, I'd have to find a way to get caffeine to the races" Jade joked...

Cwen was also glued to the screen, eyes wide and an untouched piece of pizza dangling from her hand. "I forgot how good this movie is," she said to Amy, who was sitting next to her.

"I know what you mean," replyed Amy. "Is the pizza that bad?" she asked jokingly.

Cwen looked down at her hand and laughed. "Guess Alix isn't the only one then." Taking a bite, she looked to the window. Outside, the storm was growing even worse, with rain pouring down so hard that you couldn't see anything, except when lighting illuminated the night.

Re: Movie
Alexander Cezan flopped down on the large sofa next to Aiko and Alix, both of whom seemed to be mesmerized by the images on the screen. Helping himself to two large slices of the meaty-topped pizza, he took in the movie for the first time. It appeared to be a sort of medeival affair, something out of Arthur and Excaliber and Robinhood. It was Cool. Especially the ugly bad guys. It would be fun to actually be there and hack and slash some Orc and Troll behind. Heh!

The elf babes in the movie seemed cute, but he found himself casually glancing at the spike-headed girl beside him, who was busy guzzling her 5th soda, the one who grabbed the bag of ice he had offered. The ice did well to bring down the swelling under his left eye. The fight the previous night was fun. Too bad the other guys had no stomach for it when he brandished his wicked foot-long dagger. Anyway, he was better off with a black eye and nothing worse.

His dark blue eyes wandered over to Jade again. She seemed to command his attention. She was a slim, tight-bodied and fit babe with dazzling eyes and one of the softest, prettiest faces he had seen, punky haido et all. Her movements dazzled him somewhat, a supremely tight and lithe vision of femininity.

“How’s that ice?” he whispered.

She started then smiled. “Just fine.”

“There’s a nice shower brewing outside, are you game for a little soak after the movie?” Alex whispered, “ Then maybe your hair will be the way it was meant to be, soft and red falling all around your lovely face.”

She was caught unawares by his strange query and comment, but he smiled and she felt her gut tighten and cheeks flush. Aiko grinned from over Alex’s shoulder as he leaned over towards Jade for her answer.

Aw look its Mr. Romantic...
Amy had caught a few snippets of the conversation and knew how Jade was going to play this one out. She got up from the couch, taking a few of the empty plates and now one empty pizza box with her. She glanced at the stove clock in the kitchen...9:45pm. The time was surprizing, it had gone by so fast. Lightening flashed through the window and thunder boomed shortly after. The storm reminded Amy of when she had lived in the desert, the rolling monsoons coming from nowhere. She shivered a little, not much scared her, but something about storms did. She quickly shrugged off the feeling and headed into the living room. As she walked in, a lively discussion was taking place...

Jade's Reply
Jade blushed at Alex's comment, but quickly regained her composure.
"Sure, I'm up for it," She said softly, and leaned forward a bit. "But just to let you know, I like my hair the way it is." She winked at him, and turned her attention back to the movie.

"Man I wish I could go to Middle Earth." Jade heard Alix whisper.

"Me too, man. Do you have any idea how awesome that would be?!" Jade said to Alix, whose eye's where still glued to the screen.
Jade gulped down the rest of her pop and was about to stand up to get more, before a hand grabbed her arm and pulled her back down.

"I think you've had enough caffine," Alex whispered in her ear. "Just enjoy the movie."

Jade quirked an eyebrow at him, then shrugged, settling back on the couch.

André arrives
André drove his old Honda Vision scooter down the road to Aiko's house. The rain was smashing on his helmet and the thunder was rafaging around him. It were not the best circumstances to drive in, but it was a lot better than the harsh snow he had three months ago when he was perfectly blinded. He pulled over at a bus-stop and checked the map with the given adress to see if he was going into the right direction. He checked the adress he had gotten from his on-line friend Hirilaelin and as he saw he missed a turn, he cursed in his best dutch and went to the other lane while being almost hit by a truck which was bashing his horn like a madman.

"Krijg de tering kuthond!" André shouted at the truck as it passed and he pulled back the throttle almost going into a wheelie. God was he late.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

The lights in the house were still shining as André pulled up in the driveway. He could see a red jeep and some black car already standing there. He went up the stairs and pulled off his helmet and his gloves. As he wanted to knock on the door it already opened and he could just prevent smashing Aiko in the face.

"Well, judging from your aggressive temper you must be that André fellah." Aiko said with a smile of contemption.

"And judging from your cynicism you must be the lovely Aiko." André replied.

"So, what did you bring to enrich the life of this party?" He heard a guy say from the inside.

"I brought some booze if your stomach can handle it. Tequila all the way man. And if that isn't enough, I have brought lemons along with it. I don't have shot glasses and salt though. I was kinda hoping to find that here." André said while eying the man kinda tired.

"We'll be fine then." The man said with an approving smile.

"Hey André," said Cwen, as she got up from the couch and walked towards the door. "I thought you weren't coming." She looked down at the paper bag André was holding, which presumably contained the aformentioned tequila and lemons. “So will you be mixing the drinks? I like mine shaken, not stirred,” she said with a grin. Her friend rolled his eyes.

“Nice to see you too, jumping on me with demands first thing,” André said sarcastically.

Cwen laughed. “Come on in and have seat. I think there’s still some pizza left…”

Oh my!
Amy had heard this noisy newcomer to the party and went to the door to investigate. Cwen seemd to know him.

"Shot glasses? We don't need no stinkin' shot glasses!" Amy said, grabbing the bottle and swigging down a drink. She shook off the drink and pushed it back into his hands. Indeed shy of being 21, Amy was no stranger to drinks, mostly because of her redneck friends. Amy had been known to drink many a man under the table and be able to walk away afterward.

"welcome to our little get together" Amy said, "I'm Amy, and you would be?" She said, again slipping the bottle from his hands into her own...

Many meetings
"The name is André." André said with a weird mix accent between Brittish, Scottish and Irirsh. "And that's our booze you are slapping away. Remember, it's illegal for you people to get drunk."

Amy gave the bottle back to André, but then realized it wasn't true. She reached for the bottle again, but André pulled it back.

"Okay, maybe that isn't true, but save some for the others will ya?"

André gave Cwen a big hug since it was the first time he saw his on-line buddy in real life. The chrashed on the couch and started talking fondly about present life on-line. Being as it always is, their conversation was drawn to the movie.

"Ya know, I think Gimli is one of the coolest characters in the first movie. Well, right after gandalf that is." André said.

He could not continue his little talk since three pillows were on his face and he could barely breath. A ravaged face came from under the textile and André's hair looked like he was just struck by lightning.

"Okay, what the ____did I do?"

Not again
Jade giggled as she saw the André get hit was several pillows. She turned her attention back to the movie, and snuggled a bit closer to Alex.

"Guys! Shut up!" Alix growled. "I want to watch the movie!"

Jade rolled her eyes, and the other four in the minor pillowed fight stiffled their laughs.

"Is she always like this when a movie is on?" Alex leaned over to ask Jade.

"Usually," Jade smilled at him, and went back to the greatest movie ever made...

Re: Many meetings
Alix could hear everyone making fun of her for her fascination with the movie, but she didn't really care. After all, this was the greatest movie ever! Alix could picture herself in Middle Earth, fighting alongside the Fellowship. The quiet redhead had always had heroic dreams for herself. That was part of the reason she was so obsessed with rock climbing - the danger and the challenge kept her from going after bad guys with a sword.

Middle Earth
The movie played on. Everyone got settled into the couch or somewhere nearby on the floor. Soon even the most rambunctious of the group felt their eyelids beginning to get heavy. The storm outside howled and whistled. It was right on top of the apartment, though no one noticed. They were all asleep.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Amy had fell asleep on the floor next to the couch. Her head had a bit of a dull ache, probably stayed up too late last night, she thought, eyes still shut. Boy did she not want to get up, she hated having to get up...hardest part of the whole day. She took in a deep breath and smelled the fresh grass...wait...that wasn't right, she thought, when was there ever grass growing in Aiko's apartment? Amy opened her eyes and was shocked. No more apartment! No more anything! She and her friends were in some kind of a forest, not a plane or building in sight!

"Wake Up!" Amy shouted, "Wake up!!"

Entering Middle-Earth
André looked around drowzy as the woman above him was shouting. He looked up and saw a blue sky and it was nice and warm all around him. Some birds came flying by and sang a happy song in his ear. He crawled to his feet and same amy looking around.

"What the...."André said in ahw, "who put on the light?"

The others began waking up also and looked around a bit, trying to get used to the new view. But no one had any idea where they were. Cwen scuffled over to André and whispered in his ear.

"Dude. What WAS in that bottle?"

Re: Middle Earth
Jade rubbed her eyes, and growled about being woken up. She opened her eyes, and sat up. She looked around, and blinked her eyes.

"What the heck?" Jade mumbled to herself. "Dude, where the heck are we?!"

No one answered her, and everyone was just looking around, trying to figure out just where the heck they where.

"I think I must have hit my head or something," Jade said to herself.

"No, I don't think you did," Alex told her, as he too sat up.

The group looked around themselves, no one speaking, just trying to figure out what had happened...

Re: Entering Middle-Earth
Alexander blinked and rubbed his eyes. Where was this? Some kind of hallucination induced by Andre’s bootleg booze. Not likely. For the first time in his young life the tall youth felt a strange creeping sensation otherwise known as fear.

Here he was a few minutes ago, or what seemed like a few anyway, with two comely young women snuggling close to him on a comfortable couch then suddenly all went black. Beside him, Jade moaned. Her tough exterior nothwithstanding, she made a pleasant armful, all soft amd warm. He tighted his hold around her and placed another large, muscular arm around the red headed Alix, who seemed to be stirring too.

The others too began to wake up to the strange sights and smells of their altered surroundings.

"We're in Middle Earth!" someone exclaimed.

Cwen looked around, taking in the tall blue snowcapped mountains, and the green plains around them. "We're in Middle-Earth!" she exclaimed. Then, more softly, "We're in Middle-Earth. What the heck happened? Are we dead?"

"Naw, I think we're all very much alive. This is the real deal," André said as he picked himself up from the grassy ground. "Either that or we all snuffed it at exactly the same time."

"Who says we'd all go to the same place? I don't think that you've been quite good enough to deserve heaven," said Aiko with a chuckle as she stared around them.

Cwen ran her fingers through her hair in frustration. "Well if this really is M-E, then how'd we get here? The last thing I remember is crashing in front of the tv."

"I dunno how we got here, but this is wicked cool...," said André.

Middle Earth
"I think it is best if we find out which time it is. I mean, it's cool we are in middle-earth and all, but it would be pretty crappy if we find ourselves stuck in some massive battle. Considering that only few of us are armed and not even properly, that would be crappy. Where do we go from here?" André said thinking out loud.

"Good call. I wouldn't like to find myself stuck in an orc ambush without any weapons. Speaking of which, who carries weapons?" Cwen said.

Imediatly Alexander showed his long knife. Alex nodded aprovingly. André fumbled inside his jacket. After some while he pulled out a gun. Cwen stared at it for a little while untill André stuck it back in his jacket.

"It's loaded, but I only have one clip spare though." André added.

"Anywone else carries a weapon? You wouldn't be carrying a shotgun between those legs of yours would you Alex?" Alexander said with a smile.

Middle Earth
"Alright, so then if we are in Middle Earth, then where the heck are we?" Amy asked, walking back toward the group, "I mean, this is freakin' crazy. How do we even know that we are in Middle Earth? The place isn't real!"

*Shook*

A green feathered arrow had come zinging out of the woods and that went through the sleeve on Amy's shinese overshirt and pinned her arm in the tree trunk.

"What is goin' on?" She yelled, pulling her overshirt off, leaving it stuck in the tree. "This is insane." She said, a little colder now in just her black tank top and jeans.

"Speak swiftly, strange travellers, before one of my men pierce something else." A man came out of the woods flanked by five others on either side in front of the group and then ten others from behind. He had a drawn sword and two men had bows already fitted with arrows. His blue eyes seemed to be reading the group...
