"Speak swiftly, strange travellers, before one of my men pierce something else." Aiko, who froze at the arrow, started at the approach of the blue-eyed man. She heard Alexander snort slightly behind her, and it took her a second to realize the other meaning of the phrase. Though she tried her hardest, she could could not help a slight exhale of mirth. The penetrating blue eyes quickly turned upon her. With the stare, she felt herself take a step back and bump into one of the males in the party, she knew not which one. She managed to mutter something that she hoped sounded like "sorry" and fell completely silent. The eyes maintained a studying look for a bit, and then the man spoke again.
"What are so few maidens doing travelling with so little protection in such a perilous land? Assuming that you are maidens..." The stranger took in their clothes with some distaste, and the short, spiky hair with even less liking.
"Hey!" Cwen and Alexander both said at the same time.
"We don't provide protection?" Alexander said, indicating to André and himself.
"Maidens are not necessarily defenseless either," Cwen added vehemently.
"Um, Cwen," Aiko hissed, "In this case, we are fairly defenseless." She was still trying to remain as invisible as possible, and she flinched when the eyes flashed to her for a second. Finally, when the apparent "leader" raised a hand, the other members of the company lowered the arrows. He seemed to think that these newcomers were not dangerous to him, a correct assumption in all probability.
"You will follow me," he ordered. About ten of the men took up the rear and flanks of the company as they numbly followed him.
"Sir?" Aiko asked timidly as she attempted to keep up in her uncomfortable shoes. The man did not turn as he walked, but she decided to continue anyway. "What, if you don't mind, is your name?"
"Celoril." The brusque reply startled Aiko a bit. She was not sure she really expected him to answer her. In her shock, she stopped walking. One of the others in the party guarding her little companionship nudged her on rather roughly.
"Oh. Well, nice to meet you, Celoril, then...I guess." When she was greeted with a grunt, but no scolding, she continued. "I'm called Aiko. Can you tell me: are we in Middle Earth?"
She could not be sure, but she thought Celoril may have snorted a bit at the question. He did not dignify her with a response, however, and she eventually fell silent. The rest of her company, not wanting to tangle with the other archers, who most likely all had other weapons for close battle, proceeded quietly, if not completely subserviently. Every now and again Aiko could hear one of the archers finding the need to push Alexander or André for some reason.
Re: Middle Earth
"What the heck is going on?" Jade mumbled to Amy who was walking next to her.
"I have no idea," Amy whispered back.
"How dare they say we can't protect you guys. Little do they know, but I'm good with me knife. I'll show them a thing or two..."Alex grumbled under his breath, and made Jade giggle to herself.
"Calm down. Sheesh, your acting like a little kid. I'm sure your wonderful with your knife, hunny, but shut up and enjoy yourself. I'm sure that you don't want to be attacked by arrows, do you?" Jade raised her eyebrows at Alex. He gave her a quick glare, and mumbled something incoherent.
"Jade?" Amy whispered.
"Hmm?"
"What do you think is gonna happen?" Amy asked, with a bit of amusement in her eyes.
"I don't know, but I do know that this is so fricken' awesome," Jade whispered back excitedly.
The blue-eyed man shot the two a death glare, and they quickly shut up, following this man deeped into the forest...

Re: Alix
Alix turned around to face the archer who was tightening his hand around her arm.
"Get off," she said quietly.
"I have my orders, wench," he said rudely.
"Get off now," Alix repeated, and was rewarded by a slap across the face. Alex immediately tried to reach her side, but it was too late. Alix grabbed the archer by his shirt collar and kneed him in the lower abdomen. She stepped over his writhing body, and continued to follow Celoril.
The other archers immediately let go of the other girls, casting wary glances at each other.
A darkness lies behind us and we have turned our backs upon it, and we do not desire to return thither even in thought. Westwards our hearts have been turned, and we believe that there we shall find Light.
Captain
Celoril had turned around just in time to see that one of the women had been hit by one of his men. He was nearly there when she had knocked down the disrespectful archer.
"What happened back here?" He said looking first to Alix and then to the archer.
"This woman has no respect, we should leave the whole lot here for the orcs to sort out!" The archer said, getting up. He was promptly knocked down again.
"I don't take on ignorant snots, straighten up, or you can go back to polishing Minas Tirith's floors" Celoril said, then he looked to Alix, "A little red" He mused, looking at the mark on her face, "I apologise for my man's poor conduct, he'll educate himself, are you alright?" She nodded, "We've got to move faster, the orcs are getting away."
Amy's ears were now paying attention.
"Orcs?" She said moving further up the line, Jade some where close by.
"That's what we were doing till we stumbled on your party. We are tracking a band heading west of here, not very large but still big enough that no one wants them roving around." Celoril said looking back at her. Odd lot, he thought to himself, not like any culture or group he had ever read about before. His father had always taught him to learn as much as possible about the different peoples, because they could become your enemies more quickly than your friends and he had never come across a group where women cut their hair so drastically short, pierced themselves, and dressed in similar clothes as men. He'd have to learn more but not now...

Re: Alix
Jade raised her eyebrows at Alix's display and silently praised the girl in her head, but her attention was soon turned to Celoril, who was mentioning something about orc hunting.
"Oh, neat! We get to hunt some orc!" Jade squeeled with excitement.
"No, you will not be coming with us," Celoril corrected her.
Jade was about to argue that fact, when Alix shook her head at her. Jade growled under her breath and pouted, following the Men.

Those who yeild are not always weak.
grr
"No, you will not be coming with us." Annoyed at this haughty comment, and despite Alix's warning look, Cwen pushed her way past her burly guard to the front of the group.
"So what will we be doing then? Hiding behind the trees when you could have seven more able bodied men and women fighting alongside you? Brilliant plan." Celoril's brows furrowed, but he continued to gaze straight ahead.
"That is the plan of action. We have no need of unskilled warriors who would undoubtedly do more harm than good."
Cwen opened her mouth to continue the arguement when André grabbed her arm and whispered, "Look, I know how you feel, but this is not the time to get into a fight. There's no use arguing, and it'd do us more good to make friends, not enemies."
Though still angry, Cwen had to admit that André had a point. "Fine. You can let go of my arm now, I promise I won't start swinging."
ALEXANDER THE GREAT!
Alexander took in all that happened around him slowly. He wasn’t one who read too deeply into everyday occurrences. Living mostly for the moment, he had no regard for consequences of his actions. These strangely garbed men who had them surrounded, wielding weapons of medieval times seemed to mean what they said, however. Even so they had no right to threaten them.
The tall youth nodded approval at the half-drunk kid’s firearm. It would come in handy if he could use it. Grasping the hilt of his hunting knife tightly, still in his hand, Alex strode over to the leader of the armed men.
“You, Kel Urel, or whatever your name is,” Alex growled, “Where do you get off telling us what we can do or not do and taking cheap shots at the girls?”
Celoril looked up at the tall, powerfully built, young man. “I only speak for the safety of these fair maidens. You on the other hand, are free to ride into battle with us if called upon. You could make a fine legionnaire in the service of Gondor.”
“Forgive me if I don’t sound flattered, old man,” Alex said, through gritted teeth, “but I am my own man, and no one dictates what I do.”
His grip on his blade hilt tightened, but a soft touch on his massive upper arm stayed his intended strike. He looked down at Aiko. His friend nodded, smiling, “Easy there, big guy. If what this Celoril says is true, we’d be better off with them than against. I am not really excited about having to fend off ugly orcs on my own.”
“Orcs?” Alex growled, “What ever the heck they are, I can handle them.”
“I’m sure you can, you big barbarian, you,” Aiko laughed easing the tension she read in her friend's eyes, “But we’re talking thousands of bloodthirsty killers here. Even a master warrior like you would need help to quell them all. And then there are the Uruk Hai, though you could make a nice Uruk Hai yourself now.”
“Aiko!” Jade smiled, “Do you always get away talking to him like that.”
“Every time,” Aiko laughed, "Big, brawny men are so easy. Try it sometime."
“I just might…” Jade smiled, slipping her arm around Alix's rounded shoulders.
‘I know you might,” her red headed friend whispered back, "But I'm here for you if things go too far."
"Cool!" Jade whispered back, giggling, 'But I'm sure it won't come to that."
"You're getting really popular, Alexander the great!" Aiko smiled at her friend and he just shrugged.
Cwen rolled her eyes, hands on her hips. The others seemed to be taking this rather lightly, but she was really excited or appeared to be, but she also shared Alexander's apprehension about the place. (Ooc- Hope this doesn't clash with you, Eru)
“Your band seems to be in more dire need of our protection than you would care to admit,” Celoril said, dryly, "You take things too lightly, these are troubled times and we are naturally suspicious of all strangers. Your band seems harmless, but do not shrug off our caution like so."
Amy and Aiko shrugged and Alexander turned his cold glare back on the Gondorian leader. “So what do you suggest, Calorie?”
OOC - Elenna, one editted version ready and running. You like?Edited by: Cimmerian at: 3/26/04 8:44 pm
Uh oh!
"What he suggests? He suggests nothing. He suggests us to keep moving and shut the ___ up." André said while seperating the two women with a smile.
"What's ____?" Celoril asked.
At that, the grouped laughed and went on with their journey to nowhere. They marched on, now with renewed energy because they got used to Middle-Earth and learned bits and pieces more from Celoril who got loosened bit's more. André glanced around a bit, while reaching for his inner pocket. The gondorian soldiers didn't took this threatning, for their weapons didn't fit in those pockets and other from that weird thing inside and a pack of something, they didn't found anything odd.
André took out the weird pack and the eyes of the soldiers whidened when André took out a little bar, placed it in his mouth and took a small bar. The bar was kinda blue and yellow and had some writings on it which they couldn't understand. But what freaked them out more was that the tall man pushed on the bar and it instantly turned into a flame. Many of the Gondorians saw this as magic. Celoril asked André what he was doing with the stick.
"I do what your king does and what Frodo with the nine fingers' kin does only on a smaller scale. It's called smoking my friend, and I have a lot of other magical items with me. Well, you would call them magical."André replied dryly.
Celoril stared with major disbelief at the André, who was happely walking along smoking a well earned siggy.
Celorin just let it go, they new people they encountered were no threat, on the conturary. One of them was a wizard. All he knew they where gone. He wondered what the shiny thing in his pocket was, but did not have the heart to ask, for it was way bigger than the little bar that made quite a big flame.

Orcs
A young, lightly armed soldier, seemed to be 17 years of age, rushed out of the bushes and nearly into Celoril.
"Breath, Fin," Celoril said, steading the boy with his hand.
"Sir..the orcs...they are but 60 paces ahead!" The boy gasped out, tired from his run. Celoril looked ahead down the path.
"Their numbers?" He asked still looking down the forest road.
"They are 20 strong, but seem to be lacking proper armor" The boy said, composing himself.
"Hmm" Celoril mused for a moment, rubbing his beared chin as he pondered his thoughts. "Fin, you and this wizard fellow will come with me. The rest of you get up in the trees and fix your bows with arrows. We three, will draw the orcs back here and dispatch them that way." Celoril said passing his heavy shield off to a soldier. "Give André a helmet, don't need an orc arrow rattling his head!" Celoril joked. Fin, rushed off and returned with an engraved bronze helmet. He handed it off to André. The three quickly set off.
Amy watched the lot head off.
"You know I am personally glad that we don't have to go be bait for orcs." She said to Jade.
"It would have been fun, " Jade said slyly
"Maybe we could put an arrow or two through them though!" Amy said
"I would like to see that, my maiden." Quipped a soldier.
"Just give me a bow!" Amy said walking over.
"I think I have a spare, care to make a wager?" The soldier said, handing her a smaller bow and a quiver with a few arrows.
"Whatdaya got?" Amy replied, swinging the quiver over her shoulder.
"If you kill an orc, I'll give you five silvers,"
"And if I don't?" Amy said, Cwen and Jade now at her side, listening in.
"One kiss, on the cheek," The roguish soldier said pointing at the side of his face. Amy laughed.
"Deal," She said, still laughing and they shook hands.
Everyone climbed up into the trees, Amy, Cwen and the rouge soldier were in one, the others Amy lost sight of quickly...

Up the Trees !Ooc - I am playing Alexander's part, it is just character role play, and I would not appreciate any posting done by anyone else displaying his character or putting words in his mouth, unless relevant and in accordance. Edit out your rendition, Helka, or I will do it. I will not ask again.
As the group moved through the strange surroundings once again, Alexander couldn't help feeling as if this was all a dream. The strangely garbed men seemed like something out of medieval history. The tall youth could think of nothing else, as he had no inkling about realms of fantasy and such.
"Tell me, Aiko!" He leaned over his friend, "This middle earth or as you call it, tell me anything I need to know so as to I can be prepared... at least to protect myself owing to the fact that I know nothing about any of this."
"I'll tell you everything once we get to a safe place," Aiko whispered, "For now, know this... this place is no different from the time of King Arthur that we read about in school, just that there are a lot more strange creatures about. As for the orcs, well, they're the bad guys. If they get in your way, use all that brawn you possess and make sure to kill them... yes I said kill, for they will surely mean to kill us."
'That helps," Alex nodded, gripping his blade hilt firmly. How do you kill an orc, whatever it was, he wondered. He had never killed anyone in his life, not even for food. Well, there was a first for everything. But if there was a fight for survival, he was as ready as everyone else. No one was going to take him out easy, otherworldy orcs or no.
Behind him he heard the girls, Amy, Alix and Jade conversing with the men in armour. He sauntered over to them, catching snatches of conversation and giggles. He was amazed at how relaxed the three of them were, then again so was Aiko. He breathed a bit easier and stood beside Jade. She looked up and gave him a smile. “Come on, we’ll hole up on this tree while the others go and herd the orcs this way.”
“Is that wise?” Alex was about to ask, then the cool confidence he saw in Alix’s eyes made him not to. “Need help up that tree?” He asked instead, grinning.
“Not really,” She replied, as she scampered up after Jade, “How about you?’
“Yeah, sure!” The heavily muscled youth grinned as both Jade and Alix took each of his big hands and helped haul him up to the thick branch where they sat, cross-legged straddling.
André, Celoril and the newly arrived youngster went stealty in the direction of the Orcs. Their screaming was getting heavier as they aproached them. It was a wild and foul language which André didn't understand. Altough he read Tolkien, he only knew the words "gash" and "shappu". But there wasen't really a study for the black tongue. Even the elf tongues were very hard to understand. They now had them in earshot distance. The three dropped to the ground and crawled nearby. Celoril nudged the youngster.
"Listen Fin, you encounter them and run to the trees, I and the new kid will follow up the rear and prefent the orcs from running back." Celoril ordered.
"Sounds like a plan to me." André said fidling the handle of his gun.
"It is a plan." Celoril whispered insulted.
André sighed and rolled his eyes. The one who was appearently called Fin, suddenly crawled to another bush and jumped up screaming something in a weird tongue and then running. The Orcs let out terrible battle-cries, drew their weapons and ran after Fin. Celoril staid André back for 20 seconds and then shot away, already drawing his sword. André ran after Celoril and drew his gun. The helmet was kinda comfy, but it blocked his vision partly.
The Fin came with in sight and range of the archers in the trees and hid behind bushes. The orcs halted their pace and looked around. Suddenly all hell was opened on the Orcs. 7 arrows flew trough the branches and struck their targets. Two Orc's lay on the ground dead, two mortally wounded, and three where still able. The Orcs retreated, but the clear ringing of Celoril's voice came trough the woods.
"Gondor!" Celoril cried.
"Geronimo!" André cried behind him.
Five Orcs climbed up the trees. Four of them got shot down by the archers, one dropped down with a large stab wound in his chest. The other 11 charged at Celoril and André. Fin jumped out of his hiding place and with the fell swipes he felled two Orcs. André saw an Orc looking at him. He pulled up his gun in a threating way with the barrel at the Orc's head.
"If you as little as snif at me I will blow you back to mowtown."André said.
The Orc charged forward and got shot down. It led to major confusion too all but André.
Meanwhile, the Amy had shotten down her second orc and the men had taken their share. All that was left after a few minutes were dead Orc bodies and a smoking barrel. André blew the smoke from his barrel and placed his gun back in it's holder.
"That was fun. Can we do that again?" André asked with a look of anticipation on his face.

Re: Up the Trees !
Jade and Alix sat in the trees, eyes wide in awe and excitement. They watched as Alex jumped from the tree, and into the small battle.
"What do we do?" Jade looked over to Alix with a small grin.
"Fight?"
"With what?"
"Um," Alix looked around the ground and spotted two orc swords laying next to their dead owners," There!"
"Ok, one. Two," Jade looked at Alix," Three!" They both jumped out of the tree with a cry, and grabbed the swords.
"How do we use these?" Jade screamed to Alix.
"I don't know, but get ready!"
A huge orc came charging towards Jade and Alix. Both girls held their ground, and got ready. The orc growled and smashed into them, but never got a chance to swing, for they had, both of them, run him through with their swords.
They both stood in shock and awe, and then turned to each other with sly grins.
"That was wicked cool."

Those who yeild are not always weak.
Aiko Konoe
Aiko watched Jade and Alix leap from the tree, wield swords, and slaughter some Orcs. Well, I suppose you see something new every day, she thought. She pondered leaving her own safe tree, but her feet reminded her that she should not. While she was fairly safe from the battle, Aiko took the liberty of removing her shoes to check her feet. She cooed over the blistered feet, apologizing to them for not wearing flats that day, and saying that had she known she was going to get sucked into Middle Earth in God--, no Eru...Eru-knows what location, things would have been a lot different.
"It would have been sweatpants and sneakers for me," she muttered as she slid her shoes back onto her whining blisters.
Finally, the big, sweaty, dirty battle was over. Dead Orcs littered the ground. Luckily, none of Aiko's friends were hurt. She quietly slid out of the tree, looking at the enthusiastic looks on Alexander and André's faces. She muttered "men" as she joined the group again. She looked down at the dead Orcs for a second.
"Ew," was all she said.
"It's kind of interesting, actually," Alexander said, joining her.
"Oh, I think I'm going to be sick," she muttered, averting her eyes from the Orcs.
"Not on me!" Alexander slid out of the way jokingly. Both turned their attention to Celoril and the other men then. They were all cleaning their own weapons and looking around, a similar satisfied look on their faces to those that Alexander and André had just shown.
"Men." Aiko said again, rolling her eyes.
"Hey!" Alexander said.
"Did you at least have fun on your little testosterone escapade?" Aiko asked pleasantly, feigning small talk. She smiled devilishly at Alexander, who just laughed. Once again, her eyes fell on Celoril, who was surveying her group again. The blue eyes fell across each member, as though he was debating not only his own actions, but his words as well. None of the flinched when his gaze rested on him this time, and the two men did not show the same resentment either.
"You're not putting us under guard again, are you?" Alexander asked incredulously, voicing Aiko's thoughts. "We just helped you. We did all this."
Celoril struggled within himself for a moment, but then came to a decision. He cleared his throat and began to speak. "I suppose," he started, "You would have turned on us or run away if you really meant any harm. However," he said, more forcefully, "You will not be given a completely loose rein. Stay within our sight at all times. Heed my warning: do not cross us. If you do as we say, you will remain safe, both from our own weapons, and those of danger along the way."
Celoril's men openly showed both mild agreement and blatant disapproval. Aiko had no doubt that, if any member of the company disobeyed Celoril, they would find themselves in a similar situation as the Orcs were. She shivered, accidentally looking at one of the dead again.
"Well, we must get you to Gondor, then," Celoril said, turning and immediately starting off again.
"Oh, we're in Gondor!" Aiko muttered under her breath as she quickly followed along with the others. "I missed that. I should have known, though...the appearance and everything..."
"Gondor?" Alexander said, raising one eyebrow, having heard Aiko's quiet comments.
"It's the realm of...well, as of where we know in the end of the books, Lord Aragorn rules over it with Lady Arwen. Oh, I do wish I knew what year we were in. But the men would give me strange looks. They don't trust us enough as is without us asking them what year we're in. Perhaps I could tell by the garb or something? I don't know, though..."
Alexander just gave Aiko a look, as she continued her thoughts to herself. She eventually went quiet in her attempts to keep up with the long-strided Men of Gondor. Her short-strided steps proved to be nearly as much of a disadvantage as her generally uncomfortable shoes. At one point she considered taking them off, but the rough rocks on the other side of her soles convinced her otherwise.
"Are you okay?" Alexander asked at one point.
"Yeah...great...why?" Aiko said, trying to keep her pain out of her voice.
"You sound...erm...stressed. Or perhaps in pain."
"Oh...yeah, a bit, I guess. Ow...shoes aren't all that comfortable. Could take them off, but would hurt with rocks. And now jabbering like a moron due to pain," Aiko said, covering a small yelp of pain with a laugh and trying to catch up as she lagged behind again. Looking at the pretty scenery was not helping with the pain. It felt as though the blisters were becoming living beings, taking over her poor little feet, and eventually planning on forcing them out and overcoming the shoes. Perhaps they would make baby blisters too. Then what a sight it would be. You're making no sense, Aiko, the little voice in the back of Aiko's head said.
Onward
The band marched onward, in lighter spirits than before. Amy still had the bow and arrow quiver when the rouge soldier sidled up beside her.
"So, I believe I am owed some money," Amy said, looking over to the man.
"Indeed you are" He said, "When we stop for the night, you will receive it."
"Good, now whose money will I be taking?" Amy asked, intending to find out his name.
"Beron's, my maiden." The man said before he fell back into line with his friends. Amy smiled and kept walking.
Celoril was up at the head of the group, they were making good time. By nightfall they would reach a village near Minas Tirith, they would stop there, so that in morning they would march into the Great City refreshed from the travel. He smiled. He always loved going home. Patrolling the boarders was exciting and all, but home...he loved it. And now that the King had returned...Celoril wished his father had lived to see it.
"Sir? What will we do with these people once we get home?" Fin asked.
Celoril looked over his shoulder at the new-comers and then to Fin.
"Lord Aragorn will sort this out and if not him then surely Gandalf the White can." Celoril said confidently.
They made their way over rocky terrain and in and out of forests until a village came into view. They entered and Celoril turned to the group.
"Well spend tonight here, the village inn will warmly receive you" Celoril said pointing the two storied building. "Be ready to leave early tomorrow."

Re: Muddle Earth RPGOoc - For continuity, place this post ahead of DayV's while reading.
Alexander couldn’t believe his eyes. After dangling on the tree branch a while, even as Jade and Alix made themselves comfortable amidst the thick foliage, he decided to drop back to the ground and stand next to Aiko. The girl definitely had some problems with her feet. He decided to sit down by her side beside some shrubs when suddenly a howling mad horde of what appeared to be twisted humanoid forms in ragged armour and hideous face masks rush up toward them. Then like a tidal wave the men of this medieval time trap fell upon these morbid beings and a savage battle ensued.
The tall youth, unsure of what to do, stood dumbstruck and watch and then added to his horror, both Alix and Jade joined the fray. His mind reeled, how could these wholesome all-American teenage girls just leap into a mindless brawl was beyond him. He wasn’t sure of his surroundings so he decided to hold his ground. The weird creatures of this domain could well tear each others’ throats for all he cared.
The battle, though savage, was swiftly over with the men of ‘Gondor’ on the winning side. Jade and Alix sauntered over, blood staining their clothing, ‘orc blood’ or somesuch.. The others followed them and regrouped.
“Didn’t see you do any fighting,” the one called Celuril addressed Alexander.
“Not my war!” he answered brusquely. Unless he knew more of this strange place, he was in no way going to get himself involved. Not one who believed in magic or the arcane, Alexander was convinced this was some kind of trick or prank someone was playing, either upon him, or on the entire group.
Ooc – Sorry, but I am playing Alexander true to character as one not familiar with LOTR would. Don’t expect him to be overjoyed to fight beside fictionary characters he has never heard about. Gwil, I like the gameplay between us. Alex will continually be confused her eand will need Aiko’s guidance.
Re: Alix
Alix hefted the long, curved orc blade and looked around carefully to see if any more of the enemy approached. Black blood coated her hands, and she could feel some of it on her face, itching fiercely.
"Well fought, maid," one of Celoril's men said.
Alix grinned a little. "I've always wanted to do that."
Alex looked at her in surprise. Obviously, he was surprised to see her erupt in violence. But she didn't care what he thought. All her life she had dreamed of being a warrior in Middle Earth. And here she was, sword in hand.
A darkness lies behind us and we have turned our backs upon it, and we do not desire to return thither even in thought. Westwards our hearts have been turned, and we believe that there we shall find Light.
Re:Onward
André looked satisfied on the sword he had taken from an orc. He stuck it in his belt and walked on smiling down on Cwen. Cwen looked back with suspicion.
"What are you so happy about?"Cwen asked.
"I just shot down an Orc. Not with a bow, no with my trusted glock. In Middle-Earth. Do you even know how cool that is?"André answered.
Cwen nodded aproving. Celoril raized an eyebrow on the two since he had no idea what they were talking about. André lit another smoke and got more surprised looks around him. Cwen shook her head disaproving.
"Those things can get you canser you know?" Cwen said lecture-like.
"No one died in Middle-Earth from canser. Maybe I'll reach the books. By the way, do you think I could get a bow once we are in Gondor. Those things looked really good in the movie."André replied.
"That will depends on the Kings judgement." Celoril said in a cold tone.
"Who is the king?" Alix asked suddenly.
"Why, that's King Ellesar ofcourse."Celoril replied.
"Ah, so we are in the fourth age and the war of the ring is over. That's a reliev."Cwen said smiling.
"And a pity, I would very much like to gun down a few more. Those other stupid Uruk's didn't dare to touch me after I gave that first one a breathing hole. It was taking candy from a baby."André said with a sad undertone.
"Ohw come on, you will can kill some more Orc's if you promise to be good wittwe Andwé." Cwen said taunting.
André flashed out his gun and pulled of the savety.
"Maybe I'll go for a damsel in destress instead." He said laughing while putting it back.
Cwen nocked André in the stomach.
"You idiot, don't you know those guys around us are touchy as ____?" Cwen hissed.
"If they attack me I will blow them back to mowtown. They know it, even though they don't know what mowtown is."André said with a wink.

Re: Muddle Earth RPG
Jade sat down next Alix at the small wooden table, with a cup of mead in hand.
"Nice job today!" Jade said excitedly to Alix.
"Yeah, it was pretty cool," Alix tried to keep her calm demeanor, but a small smile crept across her features.
"Ah! Ladies! Wonderful job today!" Andre said, as he swung himself across them in the the small inn.
"Thank you! Thank you! No autographs please," Jade laughed, as she mocked bowed.
Eventually the small group of Americans settled down at the table, each laughing and enjoying their time in the inn, oblivious to the odd looks everyone around them was giving them.

Amy walked into the pub and ordered a pint of ale. She sat at the bar and watched the rest of her friends aclimate into their new surroundings. The barmaid set down her drink.
"That will be one silver, miss"
"I've got that!" Berone said, walking over and handing the maid a coin with a wink. "That's one less I owe you miss," He said ordering a drink of his own.
"Indeed," Amy said taking her first sip of Middle Earth drink. She must have made a reaction unknowingly because Berone noticed.
"Bit strong, Miss?" He joked, taking his drink of the bar maid.
"No," Amy said assuredly, "Just different."
"Where do you and your friends hail from?"
"Far from here, lemme tell you" Amy said, her accent dripped off every word.
"Odd in both speech and hair, must be very far." Berone commented
"Nothin' wrong with short hair, my friend," Amy said laughing.
"They have been coming strongly from the north, the orcs may be running, but they aren't running without a fight." Celoril said, looking down at a map as big as the table it was on. Celoril and three others had taken a room in the inn.
"They been attacking villages all along here," A man said, running his hand across the map.
"We've got a problem." Celoril said staring down at the map. "There is a remaining band of uruk-hai, and from some traking scouts I sent out a fornight ago, the Uruks aren't very far from the orcs...if they band together..." Celoril rubbed his beard, "We have to get the earliest audience possible with the King...see to it." Celoril said, "I'm going to bed." He then left the room.

The only thing that matters is the ending. It's the most important part of the story...and this one is very good. This one is perfect.
No cash whatsoever :(
André looked at Amy while she was sipping her drink. He lit another smoke, but was quite thirsty himself. He fiddled in his pockets, but then pulled back his hands and sighed.
"What's wrong André?" Amy asked.
"We ain't got no money. I'm hungry and thirsty, but I can't afford to satisfy both." André said.
He looked around the Inn and saw a small band of soldiers playing with dices. He walked over and took out his cards.
"Anyone wants to play poker?" André asked.
The soldiers looked at him with a puzzled gaze. Untill one of them answered.
"What's poker?" The man asked.
"Never mind, what's that you're playing?"André replied.
"Dices ofcourse. We play for money, want to join?" The soldier said.
"What's the minimum amount?" André asked.
"It's pretty high. 10 silver pieces." The soldier said with a greedy smile.
"I don't have money, but I have something better." André said as he showed one of his three lighters.
"'What's that?" The man asked puzzled.
André showed how the lighter worked and took a guess on how long it would work. The man was eager to get started. The ten silver pieces and the lighter were placed in the middle and André was given the dice. He shook em, blew in his hand and while muttering "come on lucky seven" he threw them in the middle of the pile. André's luck was big, for it was indeed his lucky seven. The soldiers cheered, even the one that had lost his 10 silver pieces, for it was amuzing indeed. André took his well earned money and gave the soldiers a meaningfull look.
"Anyone else want's to try and win a lighter? Same price." André said.
Another soldier stepped forward and laid 10 silver pieces on the ground. He rolled the dices, but lost. André now had 20 silver pieces. He couldn't believe it. All over a stupid lighter. He had three of them, so he could afford to loose one. Afther a quarter of dice rolling the André left the game. He had lost a lighter, but gained 50 silver pieces. One of the soldiers treasured his newly aquired item. André scuffled over to the bar and ordered an ale and a meal. With a tray filled with goods he went back to the table. Amy gave him a questioned look.
"Where on earth did you get that so soon?" Amy asked.
