See, I can not make a judgment on it, or I guess I can but it isn't as complete as I would like since I have not met a lot of daemons. I have met some... and some I would say that they resonate with age also, but they are also quite aware of the here and now. I would say that I have more age than I am even aware of, but am slowly discovering.

I would agree with you that daemons are very deeply dedicated to their family and loved ones.

I would say that I personally have some empathy and sympathy because of my upbringing. It isn't necessarily in my inner nature to be so, but I was "trained" to feel the pain of those around me... and although this has made me a more understanding and probably caring person... this training has also made me more effective in my attacks... it is often useful to know an advesary's weak spots. I have been able to distinguish the difference between those who deserve my love and those who do not.
