Oddity in Winter

He continued to drink from the bottle as he found his way to his feet. He slowly paced his way over to the side of the bed where he set the bottle down.

"Well some people are blind, and others just fear what they see." He smiled and started to tuck her into the warm covers.

He picked the bottle up from the bedstand and turned to leave the room.

"Goodnight Crystal, sleep well." He turned off the light and left the room.

Ginsupup New Toy Posts: 80 (1/4/04 2:07 pm) Reply	Re: Oddity in Winter he laughed and played for a moment before her hands raced over his sides, tickleing him uncontrolably. He quivered and twisted as she poked her fingers through the soft fur over the spots that he couldn't help but make him jump.

Tickling him some more she wiggled her fingers continuously over the spots that made the cat wiggled. She continued to tickle and giggle as she watched the figure on the floor twist and turn.

The tears of laughter falling from her eyes and down her cheeks as she gripped onto the rug. "Not ... fair...."

She smiled plopping down onto her belly next to him. The fire was warm which caused her to smile as she stared into it. "What makes a person Beautiful?" She questioned as she turned her eyes over to the white cat. "I mean, Mistress NightAngel is beautiful. But is that because of her wings, her hair, her pail skin, her eyes or her personalities?" She paused again before looking into the fire. "I've been curious about this for some time now... Why is there such a thing as ugly and beautiful.... And what are they?" She stopped and rubs her face. "Oh my. I'm babbling." Pushing to her feet she walked over to the black clothed divider and began to change behind it. "I think its time for bed. I am sure my words arn't making sense."

He sat up as she stood and walked away from him, his wiskers tickleing in the wind. "Well, actualy you are makeing alot of sense, But I can only tell you what I know." He paused for a moment trying to think of the right words to explain the situation. He suddenly wished that language worked better then it did. "You see, beuty is in the eye of the beholder. Everyone looks for different things and not everyone is beutifull to everyone. However to some extendt I sapose you could say Beuty is about how well you match. Different parts of yourself can grow and augment other parts. For example if youve got long hair that can really add to your eyes by either being put up and makeing them more prominant, or if you let it swing in front of your face makeing them more elusive and hidden, mystirious if you will." A thought for a moment more before chiming back in again. "It is truely hard to say exactly what makes a person beutifull, but honestly I tend to find that it is not a matter of makeing oneself beutifull in the eyes of everyone, Instead be beutifull in your own eyes, Love who you are and people will pick up on that. And remember that anyone who is ment for you will find you beutifull anyway." He smiled thinking that was a fair assessment of the subject, but then who would take the word of a large half cat half man when it came to human beuty.

"So, it is kind of like the saying -Think you are sexy and you will be sexy-?" She questioned while walking over to the fire again and dropping down onto the fur rug. After all, perhaps it would make since to her... She was half cat half human. Turning her attention to the half empty bottle in front of them she took it within her right hand and brought it to her lips taking a drink before offering the bottle to him.

With that he took the bottle and downed a few gulps, It was nice to drink something, it had been forever since he had imbied anything but the nessesities. This fact made itself very clear as he could feel things begin to shift and his balance to weaken.

"Well, I don't know." She mumbled out as she began to crawl her way to her bed. Climbing up into it she curled under the covers and began to snuggle down in to get comfortable. "Everything is within the eyes of the beholder.... but sometimes the beholders eyes are blind." She mumbled out feeling her eyes grow heavy.

She was half asleep by now but was still curios to what was going on. Rubbing the sleep in her eyes with gentle fists she yawned and sighed while waiting for his reply.

Almost as if he couldn't tell how she was going to respond. yet still tetering on the edge of a descision. He stood silent waiting for her answer his silloutee tall and dark in the doorway casting a shadow over the floor of the room and across the bed. yet his gemstone eyes still shined brightly in the dark of the room.

If you wish to provide it.” She paused as she forced her eyes open. “I sleep much better when you’re in the room. I feel more safe.” She smiled slightly but her eyes forced themselves closed causing her to wiggle down into the many layers of the bed. Her small frail body practically vanished under the bed covers… If one did not look closely, the bed would practically look empty.

He smiled even through she couldn't see it in the darkness of the room, He moved over by the bed and leapt up onto it and curled up by her legs as he began to purr. a very low calming sound. "Goodnight crystal." He murrmurred as he closed the round glowing orbs and began to drift to sleep.
