Heh, well, Black Metal for me for sure.. hehe i dont mind a bit of Gothic on the side, but eh.. i'd rather have something like Dimmu Borgir up really loud then the Gothic side of things.. bands like; Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Children of Bodom, Emperor, Slayer, SlipKnot, Strapping Young Lad, The Kovenant, In Flames, Blind Guardian.. do it for me, heh.. not all of them are Black Metal, but hey, they do r0ck something fierce.
I mostly listen to video game music. ;D Lately I've been obsessing over my iBook since the Mac's preinstalled music player can actually extract tracks from TurboGrafx16-CD games, which Windows curiously refuses to do. I almost get an orgasm when I listen to Castlevania Dracula X and Ys Book 1 & 2. I also like rock, symphonies, techno and 80's music. But I don't know the names of who I like because I just listen to whatever tickles my fancy when I'm driving. I need to be careful though because the evil Left Lane Pixie is always hunting me down...

i listen to all types of rock music. I like the older shit like metallica, led zeppelin, and pink floyd are really good. But i listen to other stuff like chevelle, taproot and slipknot. The older punk stuff is tight but the "new punk" stuff is really gay. Good charlotte sux ass.

well I like rock mostly.........My fave band is Scorpions...I doubt anyone heard of it........but I recently downloaded a song called Destiny by a band called Staovarius or something similar......but I downloaded it as a video mix of Final Fantasy...it looked great with the music....it had FF 5-9.......

Yeah, iTunes is pretty sweet. Especially the music store.
As for me, I like HipHop. Mostly it's Beastie Boys, Fettes Brot and recently Fanta 4. I do partly like Eminem, but not entirely.

I like anything that isnt...rap. (minues ICP of course) and country hick music. Some favorite bands, LP, ICP, Iced Earth, POD, Bon Jovi. That should give ya general idea.

I listen to this (in favorite order ) : METAL!!!, classic rock, pre 20th century stuff but baroque is best, and jazz/blues ( I play in jazz band at school )
right now some of my favorite bands are : iron maiden, kamelot, iced earth, blind guardian, symphony x, pain of salvation, dream theater, opeth, emperor and satyricon...
not to mention I'm somewhat into glam rock like scorpions but hate stuff like leppard, some motly crue and I HATE poison....
I'm a metal dude too, faves being Dimmu, In Flames, Opeth, Meshuggah, Cradle, Old Metallica, Dream Theater, Sabbath etc. I also love a lot of older prog bands and classic rock bands, plus I absolutely adore Tori Amos!

i like a bit of techno, especially Final Fantasy Techno remixes, and i try to mix it up with a little bit of hip-hop. fo shizzle dizzle!

I just recently got into a bit of System of a Down and i must say.. im fucking well impressed mate they are much heavier then i figured them to be (from the few songs that heard off them) so eh, yeah, i like them now, still not more/better then my previously mentioned bands though, heh.
ATWA, Deer Dance, Toxicity are the best songs of the crop

Yeah, SOAD certainly don't deserve to be lumped into the big stinky heap of crap that is most things nu-metal! They're far better than that. My fave is Deer Dance. I actually played Chop Suey and Aerials live at an occasion too.

yeah I like music and it is all metal, punk sucks.

...Then theres more softer stuff, like Radiohead, Garbage, Red hot chili peppers.
...Then... *scrolls down winamp list* theres the game music (FFIV and FFV music are my faves), Electronic, like Underworld, and Groove armada.
... then theres some J/Kpop like BoA and Puffy AmiYumi.

Im a bit pissed off at my local CD retailer though (HMV) i ordered a copy of the Limited Edition (aka, Bathory) Dimmu Borgir - Death Cult Armageddon, and its been.. 1 month, 5 days now since ive gotten any word back.. you know what the dude told me that first day i ordered it? 2 weeks, heh.
