Fossil Roo and lots of troubles!

Zidane: So, it has a name. I just hope Jason will survive!

(Zidane goes into Trance and casts Meo Twister upon the thing that calls itself Talon. He is thrown back into a wall, his body no longer glowing with this Dark Power he spoke of. Zidane was looking a bit unnerved afterward.)

Zidane: I had no choice. His power was monstrous, even worse than Dracan's!

(They climb onto the rock shelf to see if Jason is alright. He doesn't look like he's possessed anymore, just out cold.)

Zidane: What was that thing? And what happened with Exan?

Dagger: I don't know... I've never seen anything like it.

When Jason blasted them all with the crimsom energy Exan used his natural good reflexes and jumped aside and the blow hit the wall. "stupid rat" cursed Jason. "I told you I'm not a rat" Exan shouted back his eyes flashing as a deep blue. Exan pointed at Jason and a gust of wind hit him. It didn't do anything to him however and Exan cursed fighting underground again. Jason laughed and blasted Exan with another shot of crimsom energy. Exan didn't manage to evade this one and he flew to back wall from the blow. Exan fell to the ground and raised back to his feet. His eyes were now perfectly deep blue. His fur turned to black and his clothes into deep blue color. Exan went into trance. He looked at Jason and spoke with a voice that was not his. This voice was ancient as the mountains itself, it was the voice of the wind, a voice of the nature, the planet itself. "You cannot kill this one" the voice said and continued. He is my follower, my priest though he doesn't know it. I will not let anything to happen to him The mountain started to shake. Jason stared at Exan and shouted. "Who are you?" " I am the nature, air. I am the weather.I am the planet. I am everything (OOC: heheh. This one is the weather god. Like Ramuh is the god of thunder is this fellow (not Exan) the god of weather. Exan's father had done great deeds for his glory and when Exan borned he got the weather summoning ability as a gift from the god. I haven't invented any good name to this god however. You can name it. I hope I don't go too far. In my opinion this is still pretty FF9 related.) " There are no such things as good and evil. Zidane asked back. "Can't remember a thing. The last few minutes seems to be like shrouded in a mist" Zidane sighed deeply. "I blasted that kind uncounci**** (OOC:difficult word)" "oh." Exan replied. We know what Dracan was after now, but how can we track him down? His other brethren are on this planet somewhere. We just need to know where to find them before he does. Exan: We might also need a ride. It can't be easy to get to these places. Zidane: Your right. I think we oughta head for Lindblum. Regent Cid should be able to help. Jason: Regent...Cid? Zidane: Cid Fabool. Is there something wrong? Jason: No, I just thought he was someone else... (They head out for Lindblum.)

Ultimate Massacre Regular Posts: 2 (12/4/01 19:41)	Unexpected difficulties. (They're stopped at the gates. A Guard on-duty explains the situation apolegetically.) Guard: Every now and then...this place gets uh, worked on 'cause it's got alot of machinery in it. And then, these guys look it over and uh, there you are. Exan: There we are what? I didn't get a word of that. Zidane: Hmmm... Oh, of course! Everyone Else: What? Zidane: Lindblum's due for its 10-year inspection. Danielle: This is why we can't get inside? Zidane: No. The Guard is also covering up the fact that he lost the key. Guard: What?! How did you- Zidane: You dropped it by accident in an airship over Alexandria. Jason: So you have the key? Zidane: Yep. Exan: Then would you mind letting us in? Zidane: Sure. (Zidane pulls out the key, unlocks the door, and tosses it over to the guard. Then they all walk inside. The first thing they see is a Hedgehog Pie. Zidane and Dagger get a weird look on their faces.) Zidane: Not again... Dagger: Cid, you really should be more ca- Voice: Aha! There you are! (The Hedgehog Pie suddenly jumps away as the genuine Cid Fabool leaps out into the hall with a sword drawn. He chases the animal away before addressing his company.) Dagger: For a moment there, I thought his wife had cursed him again. Zidane: Where'd that thing come from, Cid? Cid: That Hedgehog Pie? It wandered in here a while back. When it snapped at me, I thought it might've belonged to Kuja. So I've been trying to get rid of it ever since. Nobody else around here minds his presence, but then again, they were never a frog before. They EAT frogs. Zidane: Ouch. How's Eiko taking it? Cid: Ha! She thinks he's cool, like one of her Moogle friends. Even named him. Jason: What's he called? Cid: Sonic. Jason: Sonic the Hedgehog Pie?! Cid: I hate that Hedgehog Pie. Zidane: Yeah... Cid, can you let us use the Hilde Garde III? Cid: Nope, it's in pieces, being inspected. Hmmm... Oh yes! You can use the Invincible! Nobody in the entire kingdom knows how to take that thing apart! Dracan could pull out ANYTHING, even send in Lich! Still, they boarded the Invincible, which wasn't, and took off.) Exan: So, where would Dracan go next if he wanted to free his kind? Zidane: Probably somewhere he thinks we can't follow. He knows we can hi the air, so I think it's either water or fire. Jason: And a good hotspot might be... Dagger: Gulug Mountain! I heard it was a volcano once! Zidane: Let's go! (The Invincible heads off to toward the Lost Continent.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (Meanwhile, Danielle was still in Lindblum. She had the oddest feeling she was being watched. And then, she saw it, a winged creature of pure shadow slightly resembling Jason. It's glowing red eyes were the kind that depicted intense anger.) It seems able to use magic when it's a shadow, but not attack directly. The emanation negates Dragon Slave. It took visible effort from Talon, though. Without a body, he isn't as powerful. Despite that, he's still aiming to kill anyone who's associated with his host.) Talon: You think I care what your involvement is? All of my enemies will perish whether they aided or attacked the hybrid boy. He is mine and nobody damages the merchandise!

Danielle: No. Talon: Pity... (Talon's shadowy form suddenly leaps forward at Danielle, who finds that her sword is useless against one whom is shadow. Talon, however, has a special power in this form. He steals the life of whom he envelopes!)

She lowers her green hood to reveal a pretty face [although she doesn't think so] with green eyes and green hair. She's wearing green travelling clothes, green boots and white gloves. She looks down at the fallen human and then up at Talon. Woman: I'm impressed. To me, Steelheart! Danielle's sword leaps into the woman's hands and the blade turns green and glows with green fire. Woman: Thank you for doing my task for me. In case we meet again, my name is Jade. She raises her hood and walks in the opposite direction of the crowd. (They land near the mountain look for any signs of Dracan. He was here alright. There's a tunnel burrowed into the side of the mountain to its lower depths, where there may be pools of lava.) Zidane: It doesn't look blasted, just moved aside. Jason: That means Lich is still with him. Dagger: We'd better be careful. He could make it all collapse on top of us. Sonic: Grahr! Zidane: Nyah! How'd that get there? (Apparently, the Hedgehog Pie stole aboard the Invincible!) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Cid: Yes! Yes! I'm finally rid of him! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Zidane: Scram! (He kicks the monster away and everyone walks into the cavern. None of them hears the Hedgehog Pie laughing.) Sonic: Yes, go on. Walk straight into my trap! (The monster tranforms into Dracan, who promptly blasts the entrance closed!) Dracan: They'll never get out, especially with those worms infesting the place. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (Inside, everyone is unharmed, but they're also trapped. They're in a cavern with many tunnels leading out from it. One in particular is now filled with a giant Sandworm!)

Jade: Somewhere underneath that water is a weapon that could wipe out the soulless beings everywhere...Hmmm? She tilts her head and hears Zidane and Co in the tunnels on Mount Gulug. Jade: Oh what fun! I'll steal a boat and make my way over there right now! She went back into the city and down to the harbour. Seconds later she's on a boat and driving it to Gulug Mountain. Jade: Horrible Souled creatures... It's going to take some time for my burns to heal... Her cloak wraps around her body and starts to heal Jade. But as she passes the spot where the axe is buried, she starts to smoke ever so slightly. Jade: Ow! Even under gallons of water and tons of dirt, that weapon's pure soul can still burn me!
