The ultimate spells. Exan: We combine our powers. Lightning dragon! A huge wingless dragon which was formed entirely of lightning appeared in front of Exan. Exan: Give portion of your powers. Then it will ram to ou Fiona:"Ok. Wings of Gravity!" Black wings grew to the dragon giving it speed and incredible dexterity. " There are no such things as good and evil. These things depends of our point of view"  |

They all contributed... OOC: Nice little adlib there, Tempest, but I didn't really need it. A possessed body can never use Talon's full strength anyhow. IC> (They all gave power to the Lightning Dragon creature, though we're not sure as to what Steiner could really give. He's not into magic. And with it, Exan decided to let loose the attack.) Kagato: You'd better hurry. The monster is breaking loose. (Meglomax's tentacles begin to emerge, tearing away at the permafrosted ice. The fire within is eating away at it also.) (Talon was disoriented for a minute by the interference of Tempest. I'll get back at him some day. It gave Jason a chance to damage the modified Hades body. One of the scythes was lost too.) Talon: I am sick of you... I can't stand your very presence! YOU MUST DIE!!! (Talon suddenly throws his remaining scythe at Jason, timing it just right so that it will cut open his stomach when it gets to him. And even if he tries to dodge, Talon's will can move it on its own. The scythe is travelling extremely fast and Jason wasn't sure if he could dodge it. But then, something he nor anyone else would ever expect happened. Mikoto got in front of Jason, her back facing the blade, just as it struck. For a moment, time seemed to slow down. The blade slashed across her back before being knocked off course, and Jason could see a shocked expression on Mikoto's face, the first she had ever displayed, before faltering. Jason caught her as she fell forward and laid her down carefully. The wound on her back was deep. Something like that probably couldn't be healed properly. Even worse, Talon's mind would interfere, so Mikoto would inevitably die anyway.) Jason: Talon always gets at me somehow. He always attacks me and the people I care about the most! (He felt an inner rage of unbelievable proportions. At first, he'd thought it was emanations from Talon. But no, it was him. He was the one angered beyond belief. And whatever Talon felt was nothing like this, since he never cared for any person other than himself. As Zidane and Dagger went to help Mikoto, Jason dropped his sword, stepped forward to Talon, and gave him The Finger.) Talon: You're definitely too human. Jason: Shut up, you heartless bastard! (Talon was furious. He called upon his Dark Power reserves and fired them at Jason all at once. He responded with a massive beam that tore away his attack and blew the Hades body away along with Talon's shadow. Jason felt a little better afterward, but the sacrifice weighed heaily on him. He liked Mikoto. And although she hardly ever acted emotionally, she seemed to care about him. He went back to the others and found that Mikoto was fading fast. It was hopeless. The scythe slash had a degrading effect that negated healing. Jason knew something like that would happen. He wished he could use some kind of spell that went beyond Gaia's here, but...) Jason: Hey... Zidane: What? Jason: That could work... (There WAS this one spell that his dad knew. It was called Takeback. The spell would erase a terrible would, making it seem as if it never happened. But Jason didn't know that spell.) Jason: My father did it the first time just by concentrating hard on wanting to remove a Dark Power wound. I have to at least try. (He knelt down and concentrated on removing the wound. A minute later, it began to evaporate. The wound erased itself and restored the wounded Genome.) Jason: Man, what a lucky break. I wonder if they've defeated that monster yet... Zidane: We'd better get out of here before then. Memoria might seal itself up again. Dagger: Wait! Zidane: What? Dagger: If it seals it when they've destroyed that monster, how will the Guardians get out? Zidane: Damn, I hadn't thought of that! I know all of your burdens, your pains... Let me make them...WORSE! |

Re: They all contributed... Exan commanded the dragon to ram Meglomax. The dragon circled the creature for a few times to get more speed and finally rammed into Meglomax's chest causing a huge explosion and creating a large wound. Exan:" That only slows it down but now you can damage it more easily since its natural armor is gone." Steiner glanced at the monster's wound and took a good grip of his sword. Steiner:"For Alexandria! Stock Break!" " There are no such things as good and evil. These things depends of our point of view" |

KER-POWIE!! (Meglomax becomes totally unstable and explodes! Memoria reacts and begins to seal itself off. Can the Guardians get out in time?) Kagato: Well, I'm trying to call Soujia, but there is some interference. Voice: Ahem. (They look up. It's Necron!) Zidane: Memoria's closing up! We've gotta hurry! (Jason cast a worried look down at Mikoto.) Jason: Can she walk? Dagger: She's out cold and I don't know what her condition is. We'll have to risk moving her ourselves. Jason: Then let's go! (They made for the exit.) I know all of your burdens, your pains... Let me make them...WORSE! |

Necron's way. (He ponders for a moment whether or not this is the time for that. Then, he comes to a decision.) Necron: The time is not right for me to remove the souls of all living things. However, you five souls are no longer necessary to Gaia. Exan: You mean to kill us? Necron: The Guardians have fulfilled their task. Cast aside their souls or join them in eternity. I will allow no escape until one of which has occurred. "We could kill anyone once." |

Gaaahhhh.... Kagato: He means get rid of the part of you that's Guardian or else you're stuck here, soul or no soul. (Kagato has no qualms against letting out the Ultima. He can read the intentions of other beings and it doesn't look like Necron's up to anything funny.) I know all of your burdens, your pains... Let me make them...WORSE! |

The same happened to Fiona, Steiner and others. The light orbs gathered together and vanished. Exan:"They will seek another people willing to be Guardians. Nick of time... (Kagato manages to contact his ship in time to leave the area. It folds right out of Memoria with all former Guardians safe and sound. Kagato delivers the others to Alexandria.) Exan: I guess you won't be staying. Kagato: I don't belong here. It's too...primative. Besides, there are some things I must attend to. (He disappears into Soujia again and departs for places unknown.) Exan: I think we all deserve a pat on the back for what we've accomplished here. Jade: Not me! Exan: Why not? Jade: No soul, remember? Steiner: Oh, come on! How can anybody run around without a soul? Fiona: Most Genomes are like that. Steiner: I give up... [center* * *[/center] (Outside the now-collapsed Tetra Karna, Zidane and the others were safe as well. Mikoto is still out cold.) Zidane: I guess she'll be alright, considering what you did to help. But something bothers me... Jason: What? Zidane: What possessed her to leap in front of a razor-sharp scythe? It's so...unlike her. Jason: Well, you know what they say. You think you know someone, and then they surprise you with something you never expected. Dagger: Yeah, we've both seen our share of that. Zidane: Definitely. So, what happens now? Jason: Why're you asking me? Zidane: You're the one from another planet. You came on a mission. So you tell me what's gonna happen with Dracan and Chaos. Jason: They'll be found. I'm not the only one out there looking after things. As for me, I'm taking a vacation. Zidane and Dagger: WHAT!? Jason: Oh come ON! I just helped save the world here! I need to take a break! Zidane: I guess you earned it. Jason: You bet I did. You and Dagger can go head back to Alexandria. I'm taking Mikoto back to the Black Mage Village. Zidane: Are you gonna wing the whole way? Jason: No, the Tantulas airship is right over there. I can give it to the Black Mages until Baku returns the Invincible. Zidane: Hey, that's a good plan! Here, take the keys to the Invincible. You'll need them when you return it. Jason: Thanks. (Jason carries Mikoto inside the airship and heads off to the village. He had a feeling he would like it here, if even to stay for only a short while.) Jason: This'd be a great place to test out dad's motorcycle. "We could kill anyone once." |

What about Jade? Jade does what she's always done: wanders around with no purpose. Still, her little adventure was fun... Jade: I wonder if I'll ever go on another adventure like that? Nah...HEY! OW OW OW OW OWWWW!!! WATCH IT KIDS!! A bunch of 9-year-olds just ran straight into Jade, burning her. She glares at them as they run screaming and her cloak folds over her body to heal her. Burmecia Burmecia was still in ruins so Exan travelled there to help rebuild the place. He lifted constuctions materias to upper levels by calling winds. He was having a good time despite all the work. *** Fiona returned to the Black Mage Village and almost killed herself in the potential first traffic accident in Gaia. Jason was testing his motorcycle just when Diablos and Fiona landed to the forest. Her good reflexes saved her life. " There are no such things as good and evil. That's the end of the story. (Gaia was spared from a horrible fate thanks to the fighting spirit of its Guardians and the other protectors. Thanks especially to the one from beyond the stars.) Kagato: Graditude, at last. Jason: They meant me! Kagato: D'oh! THE END/ "We could kill anyone once." |

Should we start a new storyline? with lots of blue mages and red mages and black mages and white mages and eidolons and and and and and... well can't think anything more a good storyline could have.
