Infiltration

(Treno, the city that never sees daylight. Ray finds himself entering the busy town that was his home. In no time at all, he makes his way home in the lower district of the city. His mother awaited him at the door.)

Medena: Welcome home, son. How was the festival?

Ray: It was alright. I was the champion.

Medena: A born natural, as I always knew. It's too bad your father had been a little too natural.

Ray: Yeah...

Medena: Is everything alright? You seem worried about something.

Ray: That's right. There's a war coming soon.

Medena: What? From who?

Ray: A group has been organized out of Daguerro.

Medena: That's terrible...

Ray: Yes, and...

Medena: And what?

Ray: Well...it's not important.

Medena: What is it?

Ray: Don't worry yourself, mother.

Medena: But that's what I'm here for!

Ray: I know....

Medena: It happened again, didn't it? The dreams, right?

Ray: Yeah... It was during the hunt. I saw and smelled him.

Medena: WHAT?!

Ray: I know, it IS crazy, but I'm sure I caught the scent of my father.

Medena: That can't be... He's dead. He was killed in Alexandria.

Ray: Yes, I know it, and Zidane Tribal, who was at the Hunt, also knows it. And yet....somehow it's not true...

I know all of your burdens, your pains... Let me make them...WORSE!

"My usual rates are 1500 Gil per mission!" She absently dodged a wight, having no way to combat them since she couldn't use magic. Do you think you have what it takes to battle against the forces of darkness? Are you strong enough to enter The Dark Dominion? You do? Then come and do battle!

They ran to the warehouse and warp aboard Invincible. (OOC:Actually I have never got the Dragonbreath ability on the actual FF9 game but I presume that it does magic damage.) I think I'll leave this group soon, she thought. I need to find some employment... OOC: Gilnor, wouldn't it be fun to have Shanya get hired by the main villain? Hehe. There was a scar running down his left cheek and he had animal fangs. His eyes had a strange gleam to them.) Man: It seems they know just about everything now. You should have called me. Dagger had named the weapon as death ray because it had brought so much sorrow on her. No one couldn't make up a better one so the official name of the weapon became a Death Ray. Now Zidane launched it on the ships. The massive ray struct the ships burning down only a few but most of them remained unscratched. Zidane:"What the hell?" Ray:"An illusion spell! Clever." Freya:"Aww. The powerful red dragon is coming." Zidane:"Ok. Let's run." The Invinciple turned around and headed towards Mist Continent. On Daguerreo. Sandro looked the burning ships and just shrugged. Sandro:"They know nothing. This navy here is only a diversion. The real navy is dispersed in the other side of the island. Besides they made me a favor. They killed much of these lizardmen and I got more army." Man:"How do you think Matafleur will deal with this?" Sandro:"He will be furious. Which is good at the coming battle. We need his dragons now. When they die at the battle I will raise them back to serve me. Matafleur is a fool you know. He doesn't even know his true identity and potential." Man:"Which is?" Sandro:"You have stayed here and studied in the library and still don't guess it. He's Neo Bahamut. Man: Of course, there is not quite as much information here on Bahamut as there is on Leviathan, so you can't blame me for not realizing it sooner. (This was true. Sandro:sighWhen you do make sure that no one lives." (OOC:There are some rebels in Daguerreo who refuse to be ruled by Sandro and steal the books because much knowledge is in them. And of course they make small assaults on armories etc. to cause some troubles to Sandro.)

Having already taken what he needed as payment, Ray confronted Zidane, rather than bidding a farewell to all.) Ray: I'm taking a trip back home for a while. Please don't tell anyone about the climax of the Hunt. (He was referring to his feral moment at the end of the festival, where he killed the T-Rexuar without even realizing it. It had been a day since they arrived from their mission and thirty minutes since she sent the call. As she climbed to the roof she noticed that the dragon she had called was already standing at the roof. Freya greeted him and climbed on his back. Freya:"To Burmecia. " Dragon:"Off we go." The Bronze dragon spreaded it's large wings and jumped to the sky. Freya:"War is starting." Dragon:"Really? That's bad. " Freya:"More than you know. They have few hundreds red dragons in their side. " Dragon:"What? Reds only move alone or teams of two." Freya:"I know. It must be the giant red which leads them." Dragon:"That knows great troubles for us. " Freya:"I know. When we arrive to Burmecia call the Council of High Dragons and High Knights. I must tell them this." Dragon:"As you wish." They continued their way to Burmecia in silence.
