Last night was FANTASTIC! Matty Nay put on one hell of a show. I already had a feeling that I was going to love him live, and my sister (who knew nothing about him) came away absolutely adoring him.
To top it all off, my sister and I got a KILLER parking space right across the street from the venue. Anyone who knows the Union Square/Irving Plaza area also knows how incredibly busy it is. Finding parking is a small miracle in NYC, esp. in those busy areas. So to get a space right across the street was ICING.

Yes, quite the charmer He read from this adult novel "Male Mistress" and chose the short story "I, Lesbian" b/c it sounded the most "Shakespearean". So funny.
My favorite part was the very end when he stepped away from the mic, right up the edge of the stage, and played "Little Victories" unplugged while we all sang along. It was beautiful.
Re: you knew this was coming... Matt Nathanson
On behalf of the admin of the Matt ezboard, I'm imploring all you Matt fans to go over and participate on Putting Words Together.
We used to have a ton of people showing up everyday, and a lot of fun discussions.
I think, when they launched the message board at his site, it kind of killed us.
I'd love to see PWT get back to its original greatness.
I know many of you are fans of Matt.
Take time to check it out, please!
