Tonight's the night! Last time I saw him, it was the middle of winter and frigidly cold outside. It'll be nice not to have bulky coats this time Too bad the set is going to be relatively short, I think; there are sets before and after him.

The last (and only) time I saw Matt was at ACL. It was blazing hot and we had to leave after like 3 or 4 songs because we were about to have a heat stroke.

KJ, we need to go see Matty together the next time he is near. That show was awful and the heat was even worse. Even Matt apologized for that little set. I told him that if he went to ACL again, I'd go and he could make it up to me. Did he make the list this year?

I heart him so much. Had us from the moment he opened his mouth last night until he walked out of the room. And if there weren't a couple of 3 year olds in the crowd (what on earth were they doing there anyway?!), I think I would have popped a vein or something from laughing so hard.

just got some mad hope in the mail...STELLLLLAR. i listened to it last week at my sister's apt, though, 'cause she bought it on itunes. i wanted liner notes. i'm old school like that, at least for artists i care about.
i'll be at irving plaza. WOOOO. you going, jenny? and p.s., what's this with you going on the cayamo cruise instead of mayercraft? sad.

I can't seem to buy music exclusively online. I don't always look at the CD booklets, but it's nice to know they're there if I want to see them
Album is great. I loved "Beneath These Fireworks" but I think this album blows that one out of the water. There's not a bad track on it.
I'll be at Irving Plaza too, Joc, so I'll see you there!
(Re: Cruising - Cayamo was more bang for my buck and was a kind of spur of the moment decision...although I'm sure your overall lineup will be more awesome than mine)
Matty is on the Kidd Kraddick radio show out of DFW this morning. I'm listening and realizing that this is kinda huge for him.
