So, here's my James Blunt story of the week, for your amusement:
I was looking through the Sunday ad papers on Christmas and as I was perusing the Target (properly pronounced 'Tar-jay') paper, I noticed the James Blunt cd was ON SALE! FOR $8.99! Well, there is no way in the cold frostiness of heck I could pass up that deal, so I planned on going some night this week after work. I ended up going on Wednesday, only three days after the sale started. I went to two Target stores, and nada. Sold out. Poop on Michelle. So, after much disappointment, and telling the guy who worked there that this was the second store I'd tried (rather bitterly, I might add), I got a raincheck. Good news is, I get two months to go and get the cd for $8.99. Bad news is, I have to wait God only knows how long before they have them again.
Also, what's with all the animosity towards my dear James?
First, the MSM contingent is up-in-arms about how much he sucks.
Now, Matt Nathanson is on the hate bandwagon.
What gives, people?
Ah, well, I guess if you have people publicly knocking you, it means you really are sucessful.
Me, I could give two shits.
I'm going to listen to what I like, and that's just all there is to it.

I agree, Michelle. Those haters can argue all they want, but if I like something, it's getting played. I'll have to see what the MSM haters are saying.

I love this album. I don't know what the deal is with people not liking him. I guess it could be about how he stares intensely at the camera when he's on TV and that he has a higher voice. Who knows but the music does NOT let me down when it comes up on a shuffle.

I'm with ya Michelle. I'm not one to trash on what others like... I hate defending myself against the haters, so I'd never do that to y'all.
I'm just not a fan of his. I've listened to a few tracks and decided early on that he's not for me.
