Hey I'm Tina. I live in Ontario Canada. I'm 31 and a newer fan of JM's. I just heard him for the first time this year on the Grammy's. I know I must've been living in a cave or something. Once I got my hands on some of his stuff I haven't been able to stop. He's a great guitar player, songwriter and I find him totally hilarious. I'm going to see him for the first time at the Toronto concert and it'll be my first real concert experience as well. I think I'm all up-to-date on his career and looking forward to what comes next. I've met some really great people because of him. A friend told me about this board so I thought I would come and introduce myself. You all seem like a lot of fun and I've had a great time reading all of the threads.

yo yo my name is stephanie.. i've been a fan of john's since early 2002. i was a jr in high school and my english teacher put on rfs. first time i ever bs'ed an assignment in my life. i wrote down stupid answers and spent the rest of the class in front of the cd player looking over the cd booklet.
i've only seen john twice.. missed out on a lot of the smaller shows here (portland/seattle) because of my mom being overprotective. sucks.

Hey everyone! My name is Emily. I'm 26 and from New Hampshire. I first heard about Mayer when one of my college roommates dragged me to one of his shows in Boston. That was way back in 2000. I've been a huge fan ever since. I'll be at a bunch of JM3 shows: Boston, NYC, and Atlantic City. Hopefully I'll see some of you there!!!

Im Ter...i have been a fan of john since my first show in June of 99...docoboc and I share the same first show...which proves how small the JM world is...im 29, mom of a four year old girl, well she will be in 9 days. Live in Indiana...looking for a job cuz im broke...thats about it!

hey, i'm distance, and i haven't been a john fan for very long(i came into the scene in late 2004), but don't hold that against me. my age pretty much remains unknown to most people online, but i will tell you that i'm still in school.
i'm a guitarist, like mayer, only not as insanely talented, and i'm looking forward to november 22 (my birthday and the release of the trio's new album).

I've been playing guitar for about 8 years now, but it wasn't until I came across Mayer that my music took new leaps and bounds. He's been my greatest influence by far. Hey...I'm Heather, but I see there is already a Heather...(HBeeClarity). I guess I could go by Heather Savann...probably not another one of those around...Alabama Heather, or Heather the Elder, since I am, as my daddy always said, "old enough to know better"?
I was a bit late jumping on the ol' Mayer bandwagon...I remember hearing NST and thinking the lyrics kicked ass...I don't even recall YBIAW during its heyday; I was on some other musical tangent at the time...alt country i believe. I discovered John when I saw him on Crossroads with Brad Paisley...actually first just the video they played for Why Georgia which was inexplicably cut from the show...ANYHOW...I heard the song...and thought "who is that tall drink of water singing with Brad?" and again, the lyrics got me, and I've been hooked ever since. Still recovering from my first John show, the JM3 at the Ryman in Nashvegas...
