Haha, well it's working cause I clearly have an obsession for using them, I heard WOTWTC in the car with a friend and def blasted it and started singing and dancing to it like a wild person. So damn good, even the radio DJ afterwards was talking about how impressed he was that John was being all "soulful" and stuff.

Well it finally happened. I heard Waiting on the way home from the dentist today on 95.5 PLJ (a NY station). I thought it was the commercial for the Mayer/Crow tour again but it was the actual song.

I heard Waiting... on my way home from work. Just as I neared the sea of red lights, it came on-- it made the 5 minute wait to the nearest exit bareable.
Oh, who am I kidding, I totally rocked out to it! That song is the perfect summer radio song. (I'm sure the family in the truck in my right lane thought I was certifiable.)

I forgot to post this.....but several days ago I heard John's name on a re-run of the Dawson's Creek Series Finale on TBS.
I've always had mixed feelings about that. In a way, it's kinda cool because the show was supposed to be 5 years into the future, so the fact they thought John would be around 5 years into the future is awesome.....but the fact that they said Audrey was singing back-up for him was a little weird since he doesn't really have "back-up singers" (except for Chaves or DRH) and even when he does it's just guys. Still kinda cool though that he was mentioned.

This morning on the way to work - "Waiting" in my car. The station here (95.5 WPLJ) LOVES JM. They're always one of the first in this area, if not the first, to play his new songs when they first come out.
Across the table from me last night at the Hotel Cafe...singing and clapping in the appropriate parts while watching David Ryan Harris..

it was fun my friend and i shared a front table with Davids wife and john and chad popped up during the second song ...it was fun, seeing him enjoying himself in the audience singing along like the rest of us...
I taped Davids set if anyone wants it I can put a sendspace here although it's not exactly John realated... not tracked but my new recorder did really good
listen for the guy that yells out 9:36 hahahaha that's John right before pretty girl....
......John and the band, including David of course, are going to be rehearsing here starting the 1st through August...

Downloaded the DRH show and will give it a listen when I get a chance. Sounds like it was a fun night Debbie. Thanks for sharing. Sooo jealous of your being able to go and see so many great shows whenever you want. Hope you had fun and can't wait to see you in person.

Debbie, I have a feeling you must have posted that show on MSM because there are no download slots available for me at the moment. Haha. Oh well.
Um...I heart WOTWTC in Ruby's today while I was shopping...playing on XM Radio. He was listed in a promo with The Fray and someone else...anyway, they said his name and played a really long clip of the song. Pretty cool.
