Happy Monday, girls! Sorry to be a downer... but it's a sucky Monday here. Just found out my dad was rushed to the ER on Thursday with his blood pressure at 250/165 and my family voted to not tell me. Love finding that out when my family has a HUGE history of heart problems. I guess he's doing ok but it makes sense why my family's been telling me he's been tired the last 4 days and I haven't spoken to him. Then the boy that I was starting a relationship with and growing attached to, decided as much as we wanted it, it wasn't gonna work. Boo heartache. You know its bad when on a Monday... work is the only place you want to be I wanna buy the red nano as a therapy purchase.... but probably won't.

Oh Laurel... I'm sorry to hear about your dad and I hope he gets better really soon. I can understand your family wanting to spare you of the heartache, but I know if I was in your position, I'd want to know regardless. As for the boy troubles, that sucks. Do you at least agree with his reasons for why it won't work, or did this hit you completely out of the blue?

No the thing is I totally agree. Its not really the loss of him that upsets me. Its the loss of a possibility. Cause in all truth... he wasn't enough. But he was something... ya know?

Hey, Jenny!
He's doing ok. A bit rough since they are changing all his medications and trying to figure out the right timing, balance, and dosage. But hopefully this was just a fluke. A wake up call. I'm supposed to see him this weekend which will be a good reassurance to me he's doing fine.
On another note, I haven't been to work all week and have had the weirdest flu symptoms. At first I thought it was a cold and now its achiness and a killer headache and exhaustion. At least I get to watch HGTV and the Food Network.
