Katie, I miss college, cheap gas, and my friends, too.
I also miss late night Slurpie runs, late night Wal-mart runs, late night Blockbuster runs... and pretty much any other late night runs you can think of.

I miss having Tamara as my regular movie buddy! I also miss going over to her place and getting giddy about music the other person hasn't heard and a festival of burning cd's ensued. Ok, I just miss her. I almost decided to blow off the stuff I committed myself to this weekend just to drive down there to see here...alas, I couldn't just blow it off. I hate being responsible.

-i miss going on big road trips,when i was little, and falling asleep in the backseat with a big sweatshirt and pillow to the sounds of my parents voices...
-i miss first-dances, first-concerts,first-vacations, first-loves, first-outings, first-datings, first...everything..because you can never replace the magic of the FIRST..no matter how crappy/amazing it was...that is how you remember it..and tho it make take a long time, there will be a time when you look back the event longingly
-i miss the simple life...when you were too little to understand the details of things like 9-11, hurricane katrina,the war...and other shit that is going on in the world. and you were relatively content with what you had...
- at the time, i miss my best friend the most...she sadly has anorexia and has changed into a completely different person both physically and mentally. causing our friendship to weaken...we still hang out occasionally but with a lot of akwardness around us....i miss her..and her laughter a lot.....
hopefully she will get thru it...hopefully we will all get thru things we miss and move on to other great things

I miss New York City. I really need to get myself in gear and move there. It's the one place that I truly feel good and like myself. I'm always sad to be away from the energy of the place.

Recently I really miss my old roomie from college. She was the best. Never had a better friend/roomie. She's living across the state with her new roomie.

I miss laying under the Christmas tree and looking up at it and seeing all the pretty lights and ornaments and pretending that the ornaments were crystal balls

I miss being in college and being able to sleep later in the morning. I AM NOT a morning person. I actually get a little angry when I run into morning people, especially when they say 'good morning'. Grrrrr. No, it's not a good morning if I'm not at home, still in bed.

Shel, have you heard John on Loveline? When the 16 year old girl who's already in college calls in he totally pegs her on being a morning person, after she says she doesn't watch tv.
