Re: Things I miss...
I miss when Christmas used to be a fun time of the year. Like when I was a little kid. I had absolutely no responsibility, other than making a list of things I wanted for my parents. I never realized how much work it was to 'have' Christmas until I became an adult. Now, it's just not so fun for me anymore.
I will always be part of this storybook you write

I agree, Michelle...just today I was saying to one of the attorneys in the office that I wanted to be a kid again. Kids don't have to worry about shopping, wrapping presents, sending out a bazillion Christmas cards, cooking like crazy, etc., etc.
I feel like I'm about to bust into '83...and these days, I wish I was 6 again...oh get some glue & construction paper, I wanna make a paper chain.
Too bad you can't go back to those days of stringing popcorn and writing a letter to Santa when you are finally old enough to appreciate the beauty and simplicity of it.
I miss actually enjoying Christmas.
When did it stop being fun and worry-free?
I think right about the time I became an adult.
Just one more reason why being an adult sucks big time.
It's hard being the one responsible for everything in the house while Mom's away.
But, she's back now, so I'll be resuming my normal computer schedule.
Tonight, I plan on doing some classic drunk posting/chatting.
It'll be fun.
Everyone should tune in.
