Re: movies
I'm seeing "Shoot 'Em Up" tomorrow with a friend from work (she's paying, otherwise I'd wait and see it at the cheap show).

I'll probably go see "Knocked Up" Sunday after work with my bff.
It's at the cheap show and we've wanted to see it since it first came out.

Re: movies
I had absolutely NO desire to see Enchanted b/c to be honest, it looked really cheesy, but I know a few people who have seen it and loved it. Now I'm intrigued how that could be :)

And I saw a commercial for an Alvin and the Chipmunks movie. Don't think I'll see it but it was one of my favorite cartoons when I was growing up!

Re: movies
I really want to see "August Rush"
and "I Am Legend"
and "The Golden Compass"
and "P.S. I Love You"
and "National Treasure: Book of Secrets"
and "The Bucket List".

I'm sure there's more, but that's all I can remember right now.

Re: movies
Okay, ladies and gents, what movies have we seen so far this year?

I went last week and saw "I Am Legend".
It was fantastic, appropriately scary and fascinating.
Will Smith was RIPPED in that movie (me likey).
One part was very sad and actually made me cry.

My mom and I went this past Sunday to see "P.S. I Love You".
I read the book last year and really enjoyed it.
I enjoyed the movie, too, even though they radically altered the story.
I'm not a huge Hillary Swank fan, but she was fine in this movie.
I went mosty to see Gerard Butler and Jeffery Dean Morgan, though, I won't lie.

Re: movies
I saw Baby Mama a couple weekends ago. It was okay; not the best. It was pretty different from what I expected. But I heart Tina Fey, so I still found parts of it entertaining.

Re: movies
I still need to see that. We recently saw Forgetting Sarah Marshall. It's pretty hilarious.

Re: movies
SUMMER MOVIE SEASON IS MY FAVORITE SEASON OF THE YEAR!

Yes, I really did need to type that all in caps.
So far, I've seen "Iron Man", which was awesome.
I'll take my nephew to see "Speed Racer" after it's been out a few weeks.
Dudes, there's, like, a new movie coming out every week this summer that I want to see.
Which just goes to show you what I will be doing for fun this summer.
No concerts, no traveling, just movies.

I know it's been out for a little while, but I just saw License to Wed on Cinemax or one of those pay channels.

I was literally laughing out loud in parts. I love Robin Williams and John Krasinski.

Re: movies
"Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" was excellent.
Just as good as the first one, imo.
And I now have a crush on Ben Barnes.

Re: movies
I'm just going to re-post what I've posted other places:

I went and saw Indiana Jones Wednesday at a midnight show.
It wasn't a bad movie.
But I was disppointed by the overall storyline... what they were looking for and what it could do.
I thought it was kind of hokey and not nearly as good as the first three movies.
If I had to give it a grade, I'd say B -

Re: movies
I liked it alot! I had to just ignore the CGI moments that were dumb. I LOVED the entire first part with all the 50's culture. Jessie will totally dig that too.

There were hokey moments but it's all in good fun. I'm preparing for a scathing review from Kevin any day now.

So did you ladies see Sex and the City? I'm a big fan of the show and was excited for the movie but kept my expectations low. I loved it.

YES! Totally loved it. I really want to see it again. The fashion was to die for. And Carrie's apartment was FABULOUS!!

I watched Batman Begins last night in order to prepare myself for The Dark Knight! Yay!

I haven't had time to catch Sex & The City yet, BOOOO! Maybe I can sneak away tomorrow if Jason gets things under control here at the office.

Mom and I went and saw "Iron Man" on the 4th.
I'd already seen it, but this time I stayed until after the credits and saw the extra scene, which was awesome for a comic book geek like me.

Saw Wall-E last week. Who knew that an animated robot could be so darn cute? :)
