Re: Hijack in space...
The Aesculapius floated in space, the PX system had been disengaged for a long time. Raymond panted in the c-pit. His mind raced; the system was powerful. Maybe too powerful for him.

Raymond gazed at the battle. The two pilots skills were beyond his. But to him, it seamed like the red devil would win. "Don't give up hope!" Raymond swore to himself. Watching, the pilot did all he could to prevent himself from re-entering the battle. "I would only be in the way..." But then a sort of smile crept over his expression. "When I get a clear path to act, I will crush him." The Aesculapius, in CA mode, crossed both python claws across its chest as it gazed at the battle.

Re: Hijack in space...
Crono's base instinct was to move away from the flashing beams of light headed quickly at him, his reflexes moving to dodge almost before the shots were fired - but he didn't, at least not entirely. Simply positioning the pod so that an arm would be removed close to the joint, the other manipulator arm grapped it and jetted in toward the Epyon, swinging wildly - obviously intending to use this extra leverage to damage the suit with the heavy metal appenage. Meanwhile, the claws that had been feet moved to tear at the arm holding the rapid-fire beam cannon.

"You will die!" Aequitas screamed from inside his cockpit.

Re: Hijack in space...
The Epyon's wings pushed upwards as it vernirs fired, keeping it a decent distance away from the pod as it fired off several more shots towards the strange machine before simply throwing the beam cannon down at the pod, the heat rod flashing out a and slicing directly through the center of the weapon as it continued down to strike the pod, knowing the large round object would have some diffaculty changing direction at that speed. At the same time the Epyon's beam sword ignited to a good 15 meters in length as it droped its wing and slowed itself before launching downward at the pod with imense speed.

Corben gritted his teeth roughly as he know felt his broken rib crack a bit more under the strain of such rapid changes in speed. The Epyon systems beeping grew louder and louder and louder in his ears as he fought. The images of possibles and his enemies coming more and more rapidly untill he was hardly sure of what was real.

Re: Hijack in space...
The Aesculapius acted. Raymond could not wait anymore. The large suit lurched forward as it jetted towards the back of the Epyon. He could feel the pressure against his body. His shoulders ached as the chair pushed into Raymond's back, right between his shoulder blades. The pain was new to him. He had experienced it before: before cartharsis; after. But never like this. In the split second it took for Raymond to come up with this foolish ploy, the Aesculapius would already be on the Epyon. The pilot said that he did not have any Newtype powers, but would the Epyon be tricked by such a maneuvre?

With arms stretched out, Python Claws open, the Aesculapius Gundam boosted to the rear of the Epyon, to catch the Gundam in an old fasioned bear hug. The Epyon would is a marvelous machine, but without being able to maneuvre, it would be nothing. It could not match the Aes's strength. Could it?

Re: Hijack in space...
At the Epyons high speed it simply snaped its wings closely together, keeping the Aes from possibly getting close enough to its back to alow it to wrap its arms around the Epyon. With that its exploded past the Aes, never breaking its speed as it continued its attack on the Zsaa pod.

Re: Hijack in space...
The shots from his own cannon were no problem to dodge, but the explosion that occured when the heat rod tore through it, was. Crono capitalized on the explosion's force to throw the pod back away from the whip, but the claws and remaining manipulator arm were stuck in place.

"DAMNIT!" The scream echoed in the Zssa Kai's cockpit. "THIS ISN'T OVER!"

And with that, it shot off into the blackness of space...

Re: Hijack in space...
The Epyon slowed itself, the heat rod spun gracefully around the Epyon untill it retracted back into the shield. The Epyon's beam sword flashed off as it gave the Aes a little glare through its brightly lit green eyes. "Tell your comrades that I will be watching them."

The Epyons frame shifted quickly as it changed to MA mode and exploded off into the distance at max speed.

Re: Hijack in space...
The Aesculapius released its grip to block the chest area as the Epyon's thrusters flared.
"Dammit!" Raymond cursed. The Aes's armor was severely scorched, and the Epyon was already a spec of light in the distance. Turning its back to space, Raymond returned to the surface to wait for an appropriate transport. Diagnostics displayed damage to the thrusters. The Aes would never make it back to HQ.
