When i said we'd make a fresh start, i did not hope for it to be so....complete. EZboard was hacked, and many many many boards have been completely screwed over.
However...it may make things easier, and free ourselves from the past. We'll make a fresh start, with fresh characters and fresh ideas....

hmmmm...im considering moving to Proboards. EZboard, whilst is lovely and easy to customise....well, im getting sick of the pop-ups (my popup blocker cant catch half of them)...and now they're putting ads in the middle of the posts too!

alas...it seems only EZboard and MSN allow 'mature content' - even though we dont intend to post explicit posts, most places don't even want people REFERING to sex (...or alcohol for that matter) anyone know of any way we could get around that?
Yes, I thopught of that cos the Head Counseler and me had to think up a code word for 'snake' when we are on the trails with kids, so they don't panic, but we know they are there, mwahaha
2 weeks and counting till I get back home ... and I finished HBP in 2 days, mwahaha

lmao. Yes...but, if you intend to have Sirius being a bit more...mature than he was, you cannot have a whole post in code words. It would be hard to decipher, as any action that was over a PG rating would need a code word...ie. kiss, lick, suck, touch, stroke....well, you get the idea. Can you imagine a thread where every action had a code word - mad!
And yay! I finished in 8 or 9 hours...but i had more free time. Are you shocked at HBP?

I guess i was kind of shocked at *SPoiler* for those who havent read the death of dumbledore, it was a tad bit surprising and that snape was actually truly evil. But it was a fabulous book i was completely gripped i think i finished it in about 7,8 hours (not quite sure) with just going to the toilet and food. Bambi

Hello welcome - i don't recall seeing you here before.
I'm re-reading it already, to get all those details fixed in my mind. Thats a good thing, i couldnt re-read book 5 until about 2 months ago...i just couldn't face Sirius's demise again *blushes* it still made me cry the second time round.
The most shocking thing i found was the complete change of pace...we have an entirely new begining, where things have taken a serious turn for the worst...plus the whole Snape and DADA....NEVER saw that coming! So, it was a good change...fun, conveniant, and effectively accented the change in the world around them, the way it went from almost peaceful to completely war-torn.

Yes I agree the pace completely changed, also the character's developed so fast from book five. You can see the relationships forming and how everything is becoming a war-zone for Hogwarts. I definately didn't see Snape becoming who he is now. That completely shocked me.
Sirius's Death *weep..tissue!* I love Sirius, he's a great guy! I love the Marauders, the Era and everyone in it (excluding all those evil people and I am not too fond of Peter) thats why I am here!
When do you think the rp will start?
lol - well its good to have you here I'm working on the profiles - we had already written up characters for a 7th year marauder RPG, but EZboard ate them we may get them back at some point...but more than likely we'll need re-writes.
Theres a week, maybe a week and a half till Melly gets home - she's our Remus (and most of the time, Sirius too) and she's mad, hyper and great. So...until Mel gets home, im going to be re-writing all the rules, making the site presentable again and getting character things done...if you want to join in the RPG then feel free to start on an application it'd be good to get the main characters filled first, then get onto OC's...

I'm home in 2 days ..... this time tomorrow I will be on a plane. My first destination on Tuesday morning will be the kettle for a good cup of tea and gossip with my mum, then probs comp time, hehehe ... though my body clock will be fried for a few days ....

And yes...the character profiles are on our old site...but they're very old profiles, and for 5thyear not 7th. Nice idea though....you can probably get the basics from there...but allllll that writing about the prank, and about their families and stuff that we added...alll gonnne
