Thexian Loop Information
Well, I finally got around to testing out this Thexian Loop to try to determine its Haste value. I am a little disappointed in my findings so I will present a synopsis of the raw data for you all to evaluate and see if I have made a mistake here.
I had four testing scenarios where the only thing which changed were Haste effects, otherwise, I kept Stamina within one bubble of max and used the same weapon. The number of swings (including misses) was counted over a five minute period and all swings occuring within the same second were assumed to be Double Attacks and were removed from the count. I used a Defiance (19 delay) to try to get more swings for the time period involved. Base Case (no haste items/spells): 156 swings in five minutes Thexian Loop: 160 swings in five minutes Swift Like the Wind: 244 swings in five minutes Swift Like the Wind and Thexian Loop: 251 swings in five minutes This is plus or minus one swing per test case as I went over the data three times to double check my counts. So, my conclusion from this is that I see about a three to four percent increase in my attack rate with the Thexian Loop. *sigh* Zigglewort the Wind Caller |

Re: Updated Item Haste Values Any speed increase you notice between Cowl and CoF is wishful thinking. Both of those items had haste checked with Item Collector, and have identical haste levels, data packets do not lie. |

Re: Updated Item Haste Values So far various sources have said its' 23% on the Swiftclaw Sash, and yes.. it IS faster than FBSS if that's the case. I'm getting mine this weekend (I hope :P) and I'll do a parse if I get it.

Re: Updated Item Haste Values I have my second Velium Swiftblade now and wish you would test one out. They are rare so perhaps you haven't found one to test? I regularly use FBSS Sash of D and VS the jump from FBSS to Sash of D does appear to be only a small jump. However the haste from the VS is not simply noticeable in an unscientific way. You can use a slow delay weapon like wurm and forget the delay was supposed to be slow. I always understood that at 35 when it begins providing haste ( I had one at 33 34 35 and mine started working at perm haste at 35) that the haste is 35 percent and that it rose bit by pit (perhaps one point per three levels until it reached 40 percent.) I now hear rumours that it will haste all the way to 50 percent and would like to know if that is true. Anyone got scientific answers for us on the uber Katana? |

Re: Updated Item Haste Values I also estimated the Swiftclaw Sash at 15%. reasoning can be read at: forums.interealms.com/ranger/showthread.php?s=&threadid=31074 I welcome comments on the method and result, as I am curious to know the real value. -- |

agreed
I too haven't ever owned an item that provides haste like that of the velium swiftblade. Granted, the ratio sucks at 5/24, but with it providing what looks to be 40% haste, it's been in my inventory on both my bard and warrior for months....

Re: Haste test results - Shroud of the Dar Brood, Yelinak's I tested the Silvery Belt of Contention, Belt of Iniquity, and the FBSS using a Carved Dragonbone spear. It's a 25dmg/30dly weapon. Based on the number of swings per minute (3.0 second delay = 20 swings per minute without haste and ignoring a double attack swing,) it tested out to be precisely 26% haste. The FBSS came up as 21% haste by my calculations, and the Belt of Iniquity from PoA tested out at 16%. Klissar Silverspine ~ Lord of Greenmist The First Seal - The Nameless |

Re: Haste test results - Shroud of the Dar Brood, Yelinak's Silvery belt of contention parced in excell using similar testing has resulted in 33% haste, not 21. Tested twice in November.

FRSS I am lead to belive that FRSS is 11% haste, another guild on the Tribunal tested it and this is the result, not 21% like people were lead to belive... |

Re: FBSS FBSS tested twice in Sept. 19.6% 19.7% I predict it's 20% but the test wasn't long enough to get a good round.

Re: Updated Item Haste Values Does anyone know if a Monk can stack an FBSS, Robe of Whistleing Fists and the Celestial Fists to get the haste of all 3? FBSS is a haste 'item'. Celestial fists is a 'spell' haste. Robe of Whistleing Fists is a 'bard song' buff. Thanks. -Kymoto (48 Monk) |

Re: Updated Item Haste Values The haste on the FBSS / Cele fists would stack, the haste on the robe would not. However, the str / ac buff from the robe would stack along with atk / ac buff from the fists. ![]() |
