Re: windvane
Bill, thanks for the picture. I get the idea. Since the openings are rather low, I assume that the holes have also been used for the lower bolts.

Jens, by the way, I have seen that you also have an Inmarsat Global-3 EPIRB on Tramontana. I guess you got the exchange offer from Inmarsat as well?

Re: windvane
Find photos of Tramontane's Monitor mounting at 'Scanmar International' website. Go to 'Boats and Photos' and then to Nicholson 31. Some good clear pictures.

I fitted a Windpilot Pacific in Helsinki in '97. It was delivered direct from Peter Fortman in Hamburg. It was a little difficult to fit requiring 2 U bars to be made to clear the rudder. However it has been a truly magnicient gear very easy to use and strongly constructed. I consider it a much superior gear than the Aries which I had on my last boat.

Peter,
What was your last boat that your Aries tried to steer?

Bill,

I'm more impressed by Blueprint after each new photo I see of her kudos to you, she is immaculate.

Do you do your own bright work ? I would appreciate any tips.

Regards David.
