Re: un You have no beliefs? You BELIEVE that something doesn't exist. That's still a belief. It's not a belief when something is proven or disproven 100%, and you've failed to do so. Therefore, you have beliefs.

Therefore, you have beliefs." I am troubled by your thought processess. If something is claimed and is proved wrong or the evidence doesn't support it then there is no need to believe that something is in fact correct or that it exists because there is no evidence. Hense "no beliefs" If a child is afraid to go into the basement because upon hearing a noise, concludes that their is a bandit , is it a valid belief? At this point the answer is maybe and maybe not. However when the father and child go downstairs and no one is there the basement is secure, is it still a valid belief to think the bandit is downstairs. With your line of thinking the answer is yes. |

Re: un No. I said you believe that nothing is there........it's still a belief until it's 100% fact. You don't have 100% fact here, so your father hasn't accompanied you in the basement yet.
