Yo homies,,dig this, K?

Hi!
My name stood for Anvil software, which was a company that my good friend Timothy Baldridge made up, there were four members to it, myself a guy named Ryan and his brother Adam, and Timothy, all of us are homeschoolers and live far away from each other, Tim's like 4 hours north of me, and Ryan's like 5-6 hours. Anyhow, I named myself anvild for, anvil = Anvil Software, and d for Daniel which is my name.
Timothy being the programer and and I took care of the graphics. (No idea what Ryan and Adam did, they just joined up like 6 months ago.) Anyhow that point it mute, and I will almost certainly change my name some time in the near future, for Tim's dad told him to take 6 months off the computer "NO COMPUTER!!"

And now six months later he has decided that playing computer games is not worth the time and so....we will not be able to compleate the 3 games that we started, which were called Age Of War (A RTS game we started on after I bought Warcraft II) And then there was another one we did not get far into,(called Complete Control RTS game) and the one that was almost finished was Pile Of Iron, a simple game from the top view and you fly around and shoot ships.

Lol I know some of you may think I'm wierd to tell yall this but...Hey, we tried and I wanted some one to know that we tried...I'm really disapointed that we did not finish even one. And well, some of you may not realize this but I put many hours in to drawing animated graphics (nothing nearly as good as War2) And, well, when you put so much work into a project are looking forward to the compleation of it...It really bums ya out when it comes to nothing. I put in 2 years worth of drawing on teh computer. Now that I have brought tears to all of yer eyes...lol....I'm such a sentimental guy...sniff....thx fer reading dudes. Of and david75, I thought you were a newbie to!! Welcome back psyduck hope to see you on SC or BW soon. Bye yall have a real nice time now ya hear?

We all have unique names, that the cool thing about being and induvidual and having B.net to express it.Anvild I can definitely understand how you feel about the software you were working on. The work it takes to draw and create a computer program is massive, so I know you wanted to see the fruits of all your work. Maybe you learned some things along the way that will help you in the future in a career in software. If you can take that from your time spent then it dosent have to all be in vain right? Thanks for all the replies you all. I have learned a lot from you all just from your names. That is the main reason I posted this. Im hoping to get Mhran to reply and a few others yet.

Anyhow, I chose M'Rhan in an effort to create an elven sounding name for a Mud that I was playing about 3-5 years ago (I forget exactly when it was). That's also how I got another online name that I use in an text rpg that I am in: Ki'Talos.

RshScks Private First Class Posts: 43 (9/12/00 2:36 pm) Reply	My Name Rshscks stands for rush sucks, cause when I first started playing starcraft I was beat by people that would attack me in the first 5 mins, cause the comp would never do that in single player, and it would always make me really mad. A lot of people think my name stand for alot of different things, one I remember that made me laugh was rashes suck. After time I realized that rush is part of starcraft, so I did it from time to time, but when I did switch to this name more and more people rushed me, cause they thought I could not handle it.

I think that SPACEMAN SPIFF is the best name, I hope the rest of you will agree. To those people who don't know how I got spaceman spiff as a name (?), I will tell y'all: Calvin & Hobbes is my favorite comic, and I was just about to pick Stupendous Man, Tracer Bullet, or something else that has to do with C&H, but, Spaceman Spiff fits a lot more in with StarCraft, so, I went with that. Oh yeah, you might see someone in B.Net called "Medieval Spiff." If you do, that's me. Just kiddin' meremoth. That's a cool name, but, patriotism kicks in, and I have to go with Spaceman Spiff!! He never loses, can't say the same for me. Then I picked rogue_9 cause rogueleader had a bad record (27-16) i picked it because Corran Horn is Rogue 9, Then Slave_1 is my favorite Bounty Hunters ship. (SSD)iron_fist is my favorite super star destroyer. All are from Star Wars.

I was sitting there my first time on B-net trying to find a good nick cause all my single player nicks (Charger,Wolf etc. )was already taken. And then it popped into my mind. GOLDKINGIE well I used that for a while and later it became Gold and AUGold Ive also Used AgoldU. At the moment my b-net nick is {RM}AUGold_FKOC hehe it goes past the lag bars. well thats me. Well, whe nI have time I'll post about the new company we formed, It's called Pyro which in Greek mean fire. We will be making movies, andmations, and the like, so if you are making a game, web page or somethin we can do it!! We will be charging tones, because of the hours and hours and hours we will have to put into it, but, hey if anyone if this clan needs it, I'll see what I can cut you. I'll post in a few days, and almost certainly won't come back to this post, so if you want to say anything, wait till then, I'll do it when our web site is up, if so it might take 1-2 weeks, God bless.
