Road Runner Owners Group Registry
1972 Road Runner, RM23H2G****** - originally orange w/ white strobe stripe and white landau roof, 340 w/ column shifted 727, optional hood w/ inserts.
Now it's black with a 400, the hood was taken when the car was stolen so it has a standard Satellite hood, the center part of the RR grille was busted out at the same time, so it has none. It has minor damage to the rear, but nothing that can't be fixed.
I haven't driven the car since 1988 when I went to Japan. Three tours in Japan, one in Korea, and one in Germany later it still it sits at my Dad's house in TN.
Not exactly in concours condition, but I won't get rid of it.

1970 RR Coupe. RM21VOAXXXXXX. It's Vitamin C with the Track Pack and Air Grabber hood. I promised myself at age 16, that I would own a matching 6-pack car before turning 30. I did it with a year to spare! Unfortunately, I had to turn over the original title to get a transferable registration It needs some TLC but is a great driver.
Re: Road Runner Owners Group Registry
1969 383, 727 Auto Transmission, 8.75 Rear, 3:55 Gears, Air Grabber system, 650 Holley, Tor Red, Black Vinyl Top, AM-FM,
Black Interior
Re: Road Runner Owners Group Registry
RM21H9 1969 "Post", 4speed, air-grabber, manual steering and brakes, deluxe bucket seat interior, chrome-edge road wheels (all 5!). White with black vinyl top and black interior. Original body and interior (kinda gross), 91k miles. This car is almost identical to one I owned just out of high school back in 1973 and means quite a lot to me. Currently has 400 with torker intake, headers, 509/292, 3.91 sure-grip. Original 383 block is broken from a thrown rod (before my time). Current engine needs refresh so I am planning a 440 swap-in soon from a donor car I have stored. Only a warmed-over 4bbl magnum version at first but I can see a 6bbl version in the future...

Re: Road Runner Owners Group Registry
This was a ground up resto. It is not done yet, but is getting close. Just details now. It is a 1973, has disc brakes, power steering, console, factory tach, 400 engine and a 727 transmission. All numbers match. All of the black chrome items you see are powder coated not painted. That's a buddy's car in the background. Nice isn't it. The other photo is me getting second place at the Amboy, Illinois car show this summer. I know, my wife says I'm a slob too.
New News. I took First place at the Amboy car show this year, 03.

70RR, HT / Tor-Red, RM23NOE.. 3 year ground up resto. #'s 383 +.060, very warm 407 HP/385 ft/lbs!!, 4 spd, 3:23 SG. Its' a real "kruzer"! Built in Nov '69 in the LA plant. Lot's of strange A & C body parts were found while dismantling, eg; wiper motor eccentric, heater core etc. Chased a gal down the road on my motorcycle as she was heading up HWY 80 towards Reno. Pulled along side (85 mph) yelled "Do you want to sell THAT CAR?" She nodded and pulled over. It had a 440 w/ 2x4's, nasty interior, straight body (the car/not her). A couple of days later her husband (second owner)called and we did the deal. Got two engines with the car. That was 12 years ago. Finally got a place to take it apart, 3 years later this is what happened. Gettin' thumbs up while cruising means alot of other people like these cars too! I'll post a couple pics when I figure out how to.
Re: Road Runner Owners Group Registry
Hi all...
I have two Roadrunners and a Cuda. First Roadrunner is an RM23J8G 1968 hemi 4 speed hardtop with power steering, power disc brakes and tinted glass all around. GG1 exterior with black interior. I've had this car since 1976 and basically has just been repainted as it was too good to do a full restoration on. Has all it's original interior, carpet and headliner. The second one is a RM23VOA six barrel Superbird...EW1 with black bench interior. Automatic with 3.55 gears. I've just finished a complete restoration on this car and hopefully will be taking it to the Nationals in Columbus next year. I've also got a B5 in and out AAR Cuda that I originally owned in 1971...sold in 1974 and bought back in 1990. Unfortunately, it also needed a full restoration and now also has it's original motor back in it after meeting with disaster in 1972...It's got the quick steering option, 3.91 gears, 4 speed and an AM radio as options. I'll never let it go again!
