Re: road runner
Can I include my GTX in this list? ... OK thanks.
1968 Road Runner Post, RM21H8G239XXX, Numbers Matching, Automatic, Turquois, White & Lt. Blue Interior, Performance Hood Paint, Decor, Tinted Windows, Performance Axle, Radio. A straight, rust free driver that's far from perfect.
1969 GTX RS23L9G130XXX, Numbers Matching, Automatic, Dark Green/Black Roof, Performance Hood Paint, Console, Radio, Dash Tach, Power Windows, Power Steering, 6 Way Seat, Performance Indicator, Air Grabber, Magmuns. Under complete restoration, should be finished by spring 2003. Was a super straight, rust free, low miles, unmolested car with very poor paint before restoration started.
'68 Road Runner
My wife and I just bought a '68 Plymouth Road Runner this weekend (after months of searching). She's got a 383 with an automatic transmission. In good shape, except for brakes (which we will convert to front disc) and will need a paint job in about two years.
Sure do love this Mopar muscle car! A big dream come true!!
#1 project/parts car white w/gold interior, 383 4 spd, bulge hood, AM 8 track, power steering, hood mounted turn signals, tic toc tach. THIS CAR IS NOW POSTED ON THE SWAP MEET BOARD
#2 "my baby" now Hemi Orange(was Burnt Orange Metallic), 440(originally 383) 4 spd, sure grip, airgrabber, AM radio. I am going back to original color and keeping her as close to stock as possible. The only things not original to this car are tires, wheels, front seat and 440 eng. She needs restored, but still looks really nice.
Re: Road Runner Owners Group Registry
Hello all. I have been restoring Mopars for over 25 years. We presently own a 691/2 6 BBl Roadrunner, 70 6 BBL Roadrunner, 71 340 Cuda, 72 318 Barracuda and 72 318 Challenger. All original #'s matching cars. All these cars I restored myself except for the paint.
The 691/2 I purchased form the orig owner in 1999 in SC. I just completed the restoration. It has 102,000 orig miles. 440+6, 4spd, 4.10 Dana. Code 97 Bright green metallic with red pinstripe and deluxe green bench interior. Options include am/fm stereo with reverb, RH mirror, light group, woodgrain wheel and factory tach. Car also has the 150 speedo w/o the 0's. The only non orig pcs are the Hooker headers and electronic ign that were installed in the early 70's. I decided to go ahead and leave those on.
The 70 Roadrunner also has the orig 440+6. It is equipped with the AT on the column and 4.10 Dana Rear. It is B5 blue fire metallic with black deluxe bench interior. Options include the air grabber hood, tictoctac, dust trail stripes, black rear stripes and woodgrain wheel. The car has 47,000 orig miles. I am the 4th owner and have owned the car since 1988, completing resto in 1992. Car was rescued by the 3rd owner from a farmer in Louisiana. He was using pcs of the car on his farm. The rear end was used under a haywagon and the seats were sat by the barn to sit on at lunch time and just general resting. It took a year or so to get the orig rear back under the car after purchase. The farmer did not want to remove it from the haywagon.
The 71 Cuda 340 is a 4spd, 3.91 rear car with Curious yella paint and black bucket interior. It has the 340 billboards with rallye hood and Roadwheels.I am the 3rd owner. Car has 112,000 miles on it, motor rebuild at 90,000. We have all documentation including the orig window sticker.
Same goes with the 72 Barracuda with all documentation. It is a 318 car with Tor red paint and white bucket interior. It has the 904 trans with slapstick and 83/4 276 rear. Car was purchased totally rust free from Montana from the orig lady owner. It is my daughters car with 76,000 orig miles.
The last one is presently under resto. It is a B5 blue fire 72 Challenger with 318 slapstick and 83/4 rear. It has blue interior with black vinyl top. It is a father/ son ( 10 year old) project at this time. Hopefully to be finished for my son to enjoy at the right time.

Re: 1970 Runner
Seeing as I haven't mastered the "how to" get a picture on this here website, I will just talk about my Beeper. It's a 69' with 383 magnum eng. 833 4 speed 3:23 suregrip with non-powersteering. Color Red/Black Was total restoration completed in 1988 with much powdercoating, chrome and 24K gold plating on 383 and Plymouth emblems-door locks-door handles and key entries. Wheels and Tires are Toyo F-600 raidals, 205rx15 front and 235rx15 rear, mounted on Cragar signature Bob glidden Dragstar wheels. That be it for now, till I figure out the picture thing. I am "real green" with using the computer we just bought.

Re: Road Runner Owners Group Registry
I came across this site while surfing and was glad I did! I have a 1969 RoadRunner (RM23H9A274480). It has a 383 4-bbl, PS, PDB, Performance Axle Package (3.55 8-3/4" rear end w/Sure Grip), heavy duty radiator and clutch fan, Hemi rated torsion bars and rear leaf springs, A-833 4 speed transmission and factory a/c. It is F8 Ivy Green metallic with a saddle tan interior. I bought this car in 1983 from the original owner and sold it in 1988 to a fellow who drove it up to Stratford CN. I reacquired it in June of 2000 from a different owner who had driven it out to Henderson NV!
I'm currently in the process of refurbishing the old bird. It is featured on the website of some friends of mine in Sweden (of all places!)
http://www.algonet.se/~stripp/E/index.htm
I'm very glad to have it back and hope to be able to keep it for some time to come.
Re: Road Runner Owners Group Registry
I am the proud owner of a 71 GTX. I have had it a few years and have been slowly working on it. As soon as I locate all of the parts I need for it I will dive into it really hard. The VIN is RS23U - 440 4V HP. Original engine is mising so I have a 69 non HP 440 in it with a 292/.509 MP purple shaft cam in it. Sounds MEAN! It will be put back as original except for the engine until I find a 70 HP 440 (car was built 10/70). It was a factory B5 blue w/ blue interior, rim blow, A/C (off), PS, console w/ slapstik, lighting package, Hood mtd turn sigs, HEMI suspension w/ 11" drums (now disc). I really love this car. My brother used to have a black 72 RR w/ white interior I loved when I was little so I think that might be why I fell so hard for this GTX when I saw it.
Re: Road Runner Owners Group Registry

My 68 RR
Hello all, I have '68 RR. 383 4 spd, TT1 green, green gut with a matching green vinyl top. Pretty well loaded out with Decor package, Light package, AM radio with rear speaker/fader, rocker mouldings, rear defroster, tach, headrests, coupe pillar mouldings and I think thats about it. In really nice shape. Looks like a real grandma's car until you see that big Hurst shifter poking up by the bench seat! And of course, the dog dish hubcaps complete the look.

1970 Roadrunner
My 1970 RR is #'s matching 383 with 4 spd.3:23 posi with all original body panels. When I purchase it in Sept.2000 it had 80% original paint b-3 ice blue and was tolded the miles were original 38,000. I had it stripped to bare metal and painted show quality.
