Re: To the Ends of the Earth
"I know what your trying to do and it won't work."
Legolas smirked. Thus far, it had been working. Anoron laughed, and she even smiled. Legolas had never seen her smile or heard her laugh. “The lady laughs! I believe that it is working, Anorista.” Said he with a grin on his face. It was soon after he spoke that she splashed. His eyes closed and his face turned away as the water hit him. However, his keen ears heard splashing, and not from swimming. Anoron was wading back toward the shore. Already she had a head start, and the elf tried to catch up with her, moving after her.
"Legolas, no!...Don't, I'm serious!"
But the laugh that followed to him other wise. Before she could get completely out of the water, Legolas tackled her playfully, both of them partly in the water. The elf looked down at her with a smile Again he heard her sweet laughter as she squirmed under him, altering their positions so that he was on top of her, using his body with to hold her down. It did not register with Legolas about their situation until she stopped, and he noticed her cheek flush with color and her skin paled. Frowning a bit, he arched a brow, until he finally realized the way they were laying on the shoreline: his front was pressed to hers, skin touching skin. The tips of his ear went red with embarrassment and he swallowed hard. Legolas had never been that close to a woman before, at least, not in his grown years. His eyes traveled over her face before meeting her gaze.
"Please, get off,"
If he wanted to, Legolas could have stayed on top of her and had whatever way with her he wanted. But that was not Legolas. Anoron pushed him off gently, and the elf moved away, watching her climb back onto the bank. He sighed and looked down. Never before had he felt that strange sensation in his body before. Her own skin was soft like skin, her body slender yet toned perfectly from her days fighting. Quickly he shut off any other thoughts of her and the aroused feelings that were trying to take over. That was a feeling that he had never felt in such a long time. Once before he felt that passionate desire for an elf before, but the feelings were not returned. It was so long ago, though, Legolas hardly remembered it until now.
Finally, Legolas stood and climbed out of the river and back onto the bank toward his own clothes. No words came from him as he dressed, pulling back on his breeches and slipping the tunic back on. His bandages were soaked, but he did not pay them any heed. In fact, his wounds did not even hurt at all for the moment. After slipping on his boots, Blue eyes shifted back to Anoron. Taking a deep breath, he neared the ranger, touching her arm gently. “Forgive me...” He whispered, Legolas knew that she had an idea why he was apologizing. The closeness was strange, something that caught them both off guard. “I...I meant no offenses Anorista...honestly..” Legolas quickly added, hoping that she was not sore at him or upset.

Finally, she heard more rippling and splashes in the water; Legolas stood and climbed out of the river and back onto the bank toward his own clothes. No words came from him as he dressed, pulling back on his breeches and slipping the tunic back on. His bandages were soaked, but he did not pay them any heed. She sighed, keeping her eyes off of him, as if to hide the embarrassment he would surely see within.
"I know," She said quickly, glancing at him briefly and offering a nervous smile. "It's alright, it was an accident....that's all..." She said, finishing doing up the buttons of her overshirt and tunic. Sliding on her boots, Anoron ran a hand through her now damp, short dark hair and looked back to Legolas with intimidated green eyes. "Good night, Legolas." She said with a nod, before disappearing into the woods, headed back for camp. That was too close.
Once she got a little ways into the forest, Anoron stopped and leaned against a tree, closing her eyes and breathing deeply. Their skin; so smooth against the other - the feel of his breath, of his stomach, rising and falling against her own - their legs entwined slightly against one another. The feeling of a male body above her once more...it had been so long. Anoron let out a soft moan at the very thought of the memory again. She was aroused, just thinking about it. No, too soon. Or was it? Hirûn had been dead for years. Years.
And yet, she felt bad. She'd always pushed desire for other men away, telling herself there would never be another like Hirûn. But now. This elf...he envoked desire within her. He was so beautiful, so fair, so graceful. Opening her eyes slowly, Anoron regulated her breathing once more...pushing out the wet desires building within her. It was nothing. Nothing more. The elf had just been playful - no love nor lust for her existed. She was just a human.
Standing up straight again, Anoron headed back to camp and disappeared into her tent without a word.

Legolas nodded. An accident. It was an accident that they had both felt nervous after realizing their positions, but somehow he knew that it was no any accident as to why he was feeling like this. Anoron had provoked something in him when she went silent on the shore. There was something in her eyes that he could not place. He felt something that was never felt for years, centuries even. Any male being went through the stages when all they thought about was women. That was the only time tat the elf had ever felt like this. It was so strange, yet so familiar...Legolas could not exactly place the feeling for he did not know what it was that he was feeling.
"Good night, Legolas."
Blue eyes watched Anoron walk away to disappear into the night woods. "Namarie...Anorista.." The elf frowned sadly, his eyes ever leaving hers until she was gone from even his sight. That was when the elf looked down. He was foolish to be thinking like this. The woman had felt nervous because of the closeness.. There was nothing special about it. Had it ban another man, she would have done the same thing. What business would she have with an elf anyway? A moment ago she was fuming at him because he was going to go into battle. Now there was an eerie air between that, one that Legolas did not like. A sigh escaped his lips as he watched the grass sway in the light breeze. For a time, he stood like that.
Shaking his head, Legolas walked off toward the room where he would be staying. He would be leaving to morrow, he could not stay up too late. But there was the fact that Elves could go days without sleep, and he had enough sleep as it was with the help of drugs to sedate him. If he saw one more needle he was going to through a fit and toss it out the window. On the way back, he could not stop thinking about the female ranger. She plagued his thoughts and mind, living inside of him it seemed. That was too close. Too close for safety reason for them both. Anoron had a lover and he died. It was pointless in thinking anything more about it. Their bodies pressed together would not be forgotten though. Legolas liked the feel of her skin against his, the rhythm of her breathing.
When he reached his room, Legolas removed his boots, tunic, and breeches once more, only to replace them with a long sleeping tunic. Just as he finished doing so, the nurse came in only to chastise him as if he was a boy about being away for so long. That was when she noticed the went bandages. That did not make her too happy, but Legolas really was not paying attention to her as she changed them to dry ones. His mind was too focused on Anoron and their time together just moments ago. When he laid down under the covers, wonder about the female ranger was on his mind.

Re: To the Ends of the Earth
Anoron finally managed to fall asleep in her tent....with great success. Each time she closed her eyes, and began to drift off to sleep...she would see Legolas; his bare, toned body - leaning over, touching above her. Yet her mind played it out as if they were lovers, and they didn't stop. Each time they came close for a kiss, Anoron would shoot her eyes open to stop it. She didn't want to see such things. She didn't want to forget Hirûn. It was lust, nothing more. Just lust for a beautiful creature; it was normal.
Upon awakening, Anoron found a lot of noise rustling outside her tent. Morning already? She stood up - still in her clothes from the previous night, and emerged from her tent. The men and elves were already willing and able to go; some lined up, others getting into formation, and near the entrence to the city walls....Aragorn, Elrohir, Elladan and Legolas sat upon their steeds, awaiting the men. Anoron pushed passed them, getting closer and closer to the leaders - before stopping, a yard or two away. Aragorn noticed Anoron and nodded slowly, and almost regrettably. He still felt bad for not allowing her to come....and because he knew her past, he knew WHY she wanted to come.
A sigh escaped her lips, as she watched the elves and men form...and slowly, begin to head off, led by their leaders. Her green eyes gleemed and followed, row upon row as the men filed out. Rivendell would feel so empty, so quiet, until they returned.

Re: To the Ends of the Earth
Legolas did not sleep too well that night. His mind was filled with both light and dark things and events. The light was Anoron.
...He could see her beautiful face so clear, it was as if she was really beside him. They were on the same shore of the river again, only this time, they did not pull back. Instead, her arms came up and around his neck, pulling his closer. Legolas began to lean down for a kiss, just wanting to feel her lips against his own so badly. WHOOSH! THUD! The elf’s eyes widened as he stared down at her in shock. Anoron screamed as he slumped forward. A thick black arrow was embedded in the center of his back, pierce the nerves and the bottom of his heat. THUD!...
Legolas jolted and his eyes shot open. Quickly the elf sat up and reached behind him. A dream....it was a dream. The elf’s chest was heaving, trying to calm his pounding heart. Just like his father, pierced in the back with an or orc. Sweat lined his brown as he sat there, staring wide-eyed down at his legs. Swallowing hard and frowning deeply, he laid back down, resting his head on the pillow. Again, the elf tried to fall asleep, regaining what strength he could. He would need it. Once more, the elf drifted off into slumber.
...Running. Legolas was dashing through the woods behind Aragorn and Anoron. The last of the orcs were being rounded up. The three ran with all speed, hunting and killing what orcs they saw. The small company came to an old home, abandoned most likely from the wars. The three decided that it would be best to split up. And that they did. Legolas turned the corner of the room, his bow in his grasp tightly. Keen eyes peered around for any sign of an orc in here. Clear. There was on one in there. Silently he stepped over fallen debris , looking for Aragorn and Anoron again. The hose as not very large at all, only a few rooms. Had it not been abandoned, Legolas actually though the place to be quite beautiful.
The three of them gathered together again in the last room that had been unchecked. Aragorn smiled and lowered his sword, nodding to the both of them. “Hope smiles down on us.” Said the ranger brightly. The two nodded their heads in agreement. Indeed, finally he could see the sun and stars in this places within the sky. Legolas was glad. Not long after Aragorn spoke, the same black arrow hit Aragorn in the back. And then another. “Aragorn!”
Legolas cried. But before he could move, another arrow sounded, this time, hitting Anoron in the chest. Her eyes widened and green hued orbs stared at the elf in horror, before she fell to the ground. “No!” The caught her as she fell, falling to his knees with her in his arms. Legolas looked from Anoron to Araogrn, who was lying still on the floor. Tears streamed down his cheeks as he watched in shock, both of his friends dying.
“Legolas...behind...you..” Came the voice of Aragorn.
WHAM!...
The elf cried out as he bolted up again, waking from another nightmare. His body shook with fear. Why now were these dreams happening?! And with arrows?! Hands cradled the golden haired head as Legolas shook violently, trying to calm himself down once more. That was it. Legolas feared falling asleep, not wanting another nightmare to happen. Taking a deep breath, Legolas sat there in before for hours until morning finally came, and a messenger boy was sent to his room to inform him to be ready. Legolas stood quickly an got dressed for battle, this time not bothering with the heavy armor. With his wounds still healing, it would only make them worse. Instead, he was dressed in his traveling attire, a suede jerkin, tunic, breeches, and boots. On his back was strapped his quiver full of Rivendell long arrows, and his bow of the Galadrim.
Legolas’ eyes met Anoron’s as she watched them for a moment, gazing at her , no emotions whatsoever. He was hiding them. Once all the company was gathered, they marched out, heading toward the battlefield. For a last time, Legolas glanced back to Anoron, wordlessly mouthing ‘Good-bye’ before he turned his attention back to the matter at hand, the battle. The field was not far, a few miles or so, just out of Rivendell in the valley below. At Aragorn’s command, Legolas and his group of archers dropped back tot he last line, forming up as they go. However, when they arrived at the battlement, it was empty. Deserted. Legolas was having a bad feeling about the absence of the place.

Re: To the Ends of the Earth
The group waited; silence fell over the men and elves as they sat there. Aragorn, Elrohir and Elladan looked around oddly, unsure as to what was happening themselves. Aragorn had sent a scout ahead, who had not yet returned. Yet after what felt like hours....a rider was seen. It was indeed the human scout Aragorn had sent ahead...yet behind him on his horse, he was dragging something. As the rider got closer, the men and elves could see it was a person, being dragged behind the scout's horse on a rope. Once the scout got close enough -- they could all see the person being dragged was an Easterling soldier. Swinging down from their horses - the leaders moved quickly to the scout, as he too dismounted.
"I found him m'lord...we faught. He was the only one I saw." The scout explained.
Aragorn knelt down beside the dragged, bleeding and broken Easterling, only to hear the cruel man chuckling, a gurggled chuckle, since blood was catching in his throat. "Foolish men..." The Easterling croaked out. "You're too late."
"Too late for what?!" Aragorn demanded, grabbing the sides of the Easterling's garb and shaking him a bit.
The Easterling chuckled again. "You played into the hands of Sauron...and all you had...is...gone..." He choked out, before gurggling a bit, coughing, and going still. Aragorn released him and stood - still not fully understanding the messege, or what this Easterling was talking about. But it didn't sound good.
Yet the sound of an Easterling horn broke the silence. The men and elves at first, looked to the other hill, expecting to see Easterlings marching over. But nothing happened. No. That horn, came from within the walls of Rivendell. The Easterlings had hidden, and moved position, using the battlefield as a rouse, to get the elves and men out of the city, so they could overrun it.
Aragorn's mind raced into a panic -- their supplies, some weapons, the wounded.....Anoron. "No.." Aragorn growled angrily. Moving quickly he swung onto his horse. "Back to the city NOW!" He ordered. The men and elves wasted no time.
Yet the Easterlings were already in - moving and rounding up those wounded left within the city, including Anoron herself. She did her best to defend and fight...yet was overthrown by three Easterlings who tackled her. They were quick to set up archer formation along the top of the walls, outside the walls, and within -- even on the side of the Bruinen River, closest to Rivendel, so they could shoot the elves and men who tried to cross the River.

Re: To the Ends of the Earth"You played into the hands of Sauron...and all you had...is...gone..."
Legolas frowned. Rivendell. Cursed beasts! Legolas had dismounted just as Aragorn had and stood beside him. They had tricked them all! The moment Aragorn released the man, he was only free for a moment before he was grabbed by the enraged elf. “You foul man! You will pay dearly if any harm comes to one person in Rivendell!” And with that, Legolas slammed his first into the Easterling’s head, knocking him unconscious. Legolas head Aragorn’s voice, calling the retreat. Then, an idea came into his head. This man would be of use to them. Lifting the body of the Easterling, Legolas draped his body over his horse and mounted behind him. Wheeling his horse around with skill, Legolas took off after them.
By the time they reached the outskirts, they could already see that the place was flooded with the Men of the East. The elves and men that had been on horses dismounted and stared in horror, thinking of their loved ones. Legolas was thinking of Anoron. If only he had stayed with her, he could have had a chance to protect her. The elf crouched beside Aragorn and Elrohir, dragging the limp body of the Easterling with him. “The place is flooded with Easterlings...they guard all parts of the city...even the river...” He said sadly. Aragorn sighed and looked to his friend with worry, both of them thinking of Anoron.
“But...I have an idea, Aragorn.” Legolas whisper, pulling the Easterling between him. “You are his size. He is shorter than I am. Take his clothing and put it on. I will be your prisoner. Everyone here must way for the signal, then attack. That signal is an arrow aflame shot into the sky.” Legolas was already undressing the man with the help of Aragorn. Elladan was already helping Aragorn undress and put on the Easterling’s armor and clothing. Legolas grabbed some dirt in his hand and began to smear it on his face, creating the illusion of bruises from a beating. They could not storm Rivendell, they had to take it back with skill and stealth.
Now that Aragorn was dressed in the Easterling’s garb, the black liner around the man was smeared off of his eyes and put around Aragorn’s. The only part that they could see was his eyes, everything else was masked. One of the rangers handed Legolas a piece of rope with a loop on the end. From a distance, it would look as if it was an impossible knot, but it was adjustable so Legolas could slip it on and off. The elf put the noose around his neck and tightened it to a comfortable level, and handed the other end to Aragorn. He already knew what to do. Aragorn looked down at the unconscious Easterling, then to a nearby ranger. “If he wakens, quiet him any way you have to.” And that was an order. With a Nod, Aragorn took the spear that the scout had claimed from the Easterling and walked around with the elf in tow to the path. Showtime. Aragorn pulled at the elf as if rushing him along. They approached the gates. Legolas quiver and bow were in the same hand with the long Easterling spear. Legolas turly looked like a captive.

Re: To the Ends of the Earth
The Easterlings had their positions; they awaited any sign of the returning elves and men, yet so far, saw nothing. It was then, the men guarding the river, saw another Easterling, dragging behind him an elf. They thought nothing of it, and allowed the man by with his elven captive. Aragorn led Legolas through the wood roughly - keeping up the rouse that the elf was his prisoner, and he cared nothing for him. As they passed through the wall, Aragorn approached two Easterlings who came to greet him.
"Where d'you want this one?!" Aragorn asked gruffly.
One Easterling chuckled, circling Legolas. "My my he is a pretty one isn't he!?" The man teased, grasping the back of Legolas' head and hair, and pulling back, so Legolas was facing upwards towards the sky.
The easterling looked back to Aragorn. "Put 'im with the others!....'Round back, in the courtyard." He ordered. Aragorn nodded and tugged Legolas along roughly, pulling him towards the stone and dirt laid courtyard.
~ * ~
The side of Anoron's face landed against the dirt; a bit of it unsettling at the impact of her body and poofing up into the air, before disappearing. She let out a small groan of pain as she slowly opened her eyes -- her hands were tied together, like the others. The prisoners of both elf and men, mostly injured - were huddled into the courtyard, with the occasional whip and kicking.
One Easterling had singled Anoron out - realizing for the first time, she wasn't a male....but a female; the shorter hair had been decieving. He'd pulled her out of line, and tossed her to the dirty ground. Moving over her with a laugh, the Easterling straddled her legs. "You...will come in handy, girl," He spat out. "Women's rare around here." The easterling laughed, roughly running his hands down her legs and thighs. Anoron screamed and tried to struggle, as the Easterling began to undo the chords of her breeches....
Yet before he could get anywhere with his 'female captive'...the Easterling was grabbed by the back of the neck and pulled off Anoron. It was Aragorn...or rather, just another Easterling, to everyone else. "Don't spoil her yet!" Aragorn hissed angrily. "We're still waiting on an attack!...Focus, and keep your mind on the city and prisoners for now!..." He said darkly. "You can have her later."
The other easterling looked to Aragorn disappointedly, then down to Anoron, then back to Aragorn, before moving away and walking back to the prisoners. There were about three Easterling guards there, including Aragorn, watching over the prisoners. Aragorn sighed to himself....that was close, but at least he'd bought Anoron some time. He was afraid such a thing would happen to her - and he didn't want to see Anoron get taken by such a foul breed of East man.
Anoron gazed up with weary and tear filled eyes -- to see another Easterling, holding another captive. Legolas? Poor elf...how was it such a skilled one got caught? Perhaps his injuries had effected his performence. Whatever it was, Anoron wished he hadn't got caught. She closed her eyes briefly; wanting to leave this place, wanting to ignore the inevidable....that tonight, she would be used by Easterling men.
Looking down, he picked Anoron up roughly and tossed her back into the grouping of men and elves. Looking back to his own captive, Legolas, Aragorn used the end of the rope which he held....and bound Legolas' hands together, still keeping the noose around his neck. So really, Legolas could take off the noose later, since it slipped off easily, and get another to undo his hands. But not now. Too dangerous. For now, Legolas was just a prisoner.
Once he was done tying the elf's hands together, Aragorn shoved Legolas into the crowd of elf and men as well.

Re: To the Ends of the Earth
It took all of Legolas’ will power not to spit In the Easterling’s face as he pulled his head back. They had to stick to the plan. The Easterling shoved Legolas and bid Aragorn passage inside. It worked. Aragorn led Legolas inside as if he was the ranger’s prisoner. When they reached the others, Aragorn thankfully pulled the one Easterling off of Anoron and pushed him back into line. Aragorn bought Anoron some time from these men’s torture. For now, they would have to keep up the act, which would be hard. Aragorn timed Legolas’ hands together with the end of the rope and pushed the elf toward the other captive. The other Easterlings laughed as Legolas fell tot he ground. An act.
Blue eyes glared at the others and sat up. Slowly, he moved toward Anoron “Worry not..” He whispered into her ear, sitting close beside her and speaking so only she could hear him. The elf’s eyes were focused on the other Easterlings, for they were looking at him with hard, dark eyes. “Stay close to me, everything will be al right..” Just as he finished speaking, he was backhanded by an Easterling soldier hard, causing a bit of blood to come from his mouth. Legolas glared up at the man and spat out the blood in is mouth. The elf said nothing, nor did he move way from Anoron. He could not tell her yet, it was too dangers for them and he could risk one of these men finding out their secret.
“Hush up elf!” The Easterling spat.
“She’ll be ours soon enough! Right lads?!” A round cheer came from all.
“The elf thinks that he can save her, ‘ow sweet.” The man taunted, laughing and kicking Legolas in the side. The elf groan and doubled over in pain. That was the same side he had stitching, which made it hurt worse. The man just laughs and cupped Anoron’s face in his hand. “Why have an elf when you can have a real man!” Loud whoops and hollers came as they all laughed, then returned to their posts for now.
“The army of those men and elves fled for their rotten lives. They ain’t coming here.” Aragorn said. Walking over to Legolas, he grabbed the elf roughly by the collar of his shirt. “He’s the only one of them left. The rest were slaughter by them orcs. I saw ‘em. This elf was the only one who was alive when I found him. A bit of a feisty one!” And Aragorn pushed Legolas back down on the ground and stepped away. So far, it was working, but Aragorn was also trying to protect them from any other harm, especially Anoron. He was not about to let her get raped by these men.

Another Easterling stepped forward. "Sounds like something they would do....good runners, the whole lot of them!" He laughed, chuckling evily. He moved to Anoron and grasped the back of her head and hair, pulling back so she was looking directly up to him. "What say you, love, how about a victory tumble," He grinned. That was it. Anoron hoarked back, and spit at him. A sound spit, landing on the face of the Easterling. That didn't make him too happy.
"Bitch!" He said, backhanding her across the face. Anoron cried out, feeling a sharp pain; the impact had split her lip and now she was bleeding. "I'm gonna enjoy pounding into you all night...teach you a lesson!" The easterling hissed. "Show you WHY women were made for men in the first place." He spat out, before storming off.
It seemed as though a few hours passed; Easterlings waited and waited for an attack, yet one never came. The rumor spread quickly that the elves and men had retreated and were on their way to Helm's Deep. The captives, bound and beaten, were still huddled in the courtyard, under guard and watch by the Easterlings. However, the group of Easterlings watching the captives grew bored. Nothing was happening.
So, they had one of their men bring around what rations and food they found within Rivendell. Meat, bread and wine of sorts. They started a fire, and began to cook their hearty meal - laughing and finding themselves quite victorious. Sauron was winning. Soon these lands would belong to them. Anoron had stayed close to Legolas - by this time, her head resting upon his clothed shoulder, comfortingly. She was tired and sore, yet feared to shut her eyes. Not while here, and not while around these men.
Those Easterlings who'd been drinking began to talk in low whispers, and stare at her hungrily. "Legolas," She said quietly; knowing those lustful looks, knowing what was going to happen. She didn't know why she said his name, but she just wanted him to know that she appreciated him being here. Had Legolas not been captured, she would be even more alone. And since Legolas had been caught, Anoron figured everyone else was dead. Including Aragorn.

Re: To the Ends of the Earth
Hours passed but it felt like days. This play was working to some degree. If they could get the Easterling’s guard down they could take them all by surprise from within. However, it did not come without its down sides. They were not among friends, the vicious men were all around them. Save one. Aragorn was the only among them that was dressed in dark clothes but still himself. He had to blend in for now and follow the act. They all drank merrily, celebrating their victory. Aragorn was the only sober one, only acting intoxicated. He was a ranger, he could adapt to anything it seemed.
However, Legolas too saw the looks of the men, hungry and wanting the woman beside him. As long as he had consciousness, he would try his best to fend them off, and he did not doubt that Aragorn would put in something as well to stop them. Blue eyes glared at them.
"Legolas,"
His head turned to look down at Anoron. Guilt still pained his heart. If only he had been with her, he could have helped her at least escape. But knowing these men, they would have killed him for his impudence. Since his hands were tied in front of him, the elf slipped his arms over her and around her, the only way he could embrace her. “You are not among friends...but be alert.” He whisper ed in her ear. He still could not tell her, even in their drunken state. It was too risky.
“Hey! Get your arms from around my girl!” One Easterling shouted, tossing the bone away and stalking toward them.
Legolas frowned and pulled Anoron close. “She belongs not to you! Now go back and eat. You’ve already taken enough of what is not yours.” He shot back, but that only seemed to enrage the drunken Easterling.
“We have a touchy elf here!” He laughed, grabbing Anoron’s foot. That was a mistake. A foot slammed into his jaw by the woman, fighting back and releasing herself from his touch. He growled, Angered now at her actions. “I’ll teach you a lesson for that!” He got up and tried to reach for her middle. Again he was sent to the ground, this time by the elbow of the elf. Legolas had moved his arms from around her to give himself better ability to defend her. The elf still stayed close to her, but the bleeding Easterling got back up, anger flaring in his eyes.

Re: To the Ends of the Earth
Since his hands were tied in front of him, the elf slipped his arms over her and around her, the only way he could embrace her. “You are not among friends...but be alert.” He whispered in her ear. Anoron looked up to him with green eyes, dulled slightly in concern and worry for their safety and future. Would they even survive here?
“Hey! Get your arms from around my girl!” One Easterling shouted, tossing the bone away and stalking toward them.

“We have a touchy elf here!” He laughed, grabbing Anoron’s foot. That was a mistake. A foot slammed into his jaw, Anoron's foot, fighting back and releasing herself from his touch.
He shook his head and sneered. "You just don't get it, do you elf..." He hissed. "The only reason this girl's still alive...is for pleasure!" He said. "And if you don't want us to touch her, we might as well kill her right now," He said darkly, drawing his blade from it's sheath.
"Hey," Aragorn said, standing; but to Anoron, it was just another Easterling. "Eat your fill!...You have the rest of the night to pick at the girl!" He said, making an attempt to divert the Easterling.
The Easterling turned angrily, pointing his blade at Aragorn. "Stay outta this!" He hissed. "And don't interrupt!...I don't take orders from noone who isn't above me, so shut it!" The Easterling said, fed up. "I'm not waiting anymore, this girl needs a lesson or two," He said. The other Easterlings laughed and nodded, telling him they were all next once he was done with her.
Aragorn watched helplessly as the Easterling turned back to Anoron; he couldn't risk attacking the man, since his Easterling friends would only attack Aragorn in return and perhaps kill him. "Then I want first go!" Aragorn said, pointing to Anoron.
"Yer going to wait yer turn!" The easterling yelled again. "You can have 'er after me!" He said. Without pause, The Easterling turned, grabbing Anoron's foot and dragging her across the ground. She cried out and flipped onto her stomach, trying to reach her bound hands back to Legols, but it was too late. The Easterling knelt down, having dragged Anoron over a bit away from the fire, and away from the captive group - though they were still visible. He flipped Anoron's slender frame onto her back, and attacked her neck and mouth with kisses.
The Easterling's hands ran all over her body, touching and squeezing roughly, ripping off and undoing buttons of her shirt and tunic, his eyes gleeming greedily at the exposed skin of her chest, before attacking it with his teeth, lips and tongue. Anoron cried out in anguish; with her bound hands and her legs pushed out on either side of the Easterling who lay between them....she could do nothing. The other easterlings laughed, cheering him on.

Re: To the Ends of the Earth
The Easterling grabbed Anoron by her foot and began to drag her away from the rest of the group. “No!” Legolas tried to reach for her hands with his. He dove after her to stop the man from dragging her off, but another one of his friends grabbed the elf by the hair and yanked him back.
“Mind ye place elf!” He sneered, thrusting Legolas back with the rest of them. Aragorn could do nothing or they would give away their position. But Legolas did not give up. Again he tried to reach Anoron, but the Easterling had pulled her away from him, and his friend hit the elf on the back of the head with the blunt end of his sear, knocking Legolas out for a while. The elf went limp as he blinked for a few moments, then closing his eyes. The last thing he saw was the Easterling tearing at Anoron.
The Easterling laughed and drug the elf back to the group, tossing him with the rest. “Any of you that TRY that will get the same treatment! So sit still you maggots!” He hissed, before turning to watch his friend have a go at the female ranger. They all watched, some with lust and others with greed. They drank in the sight of her as the one Easterling ripped off her clothes to expose her chest to the world. Some licked their lips. “She’s a prize, isn’t she?!” They laughed. Next came her breeches which were attacked by the Easterling over her and pulled down, in some places ripped. Aragorn had no choice but to watch in horror as Anoron was subject to their ‘fun’ and abuse. He glanced back to Legolas, the elf saw or heard nothing. In a way, Legolas was lucky, he would not wish to see such.
A few minutes passed by, and Legolas blinked, groaning softly. The man had not hit him hard enough to leave him black out for hours, but he had made the elf tumble into darkness. But when he opened his eyes, there was Anoron in the distance, being raped by the same Easterling. His grunts and whorish moans made him sick and inwardly gag. How could they even enjoy something like this? Legolas sat up, but was shoved down onto his stomach by an Easterling,, who had been guarding the elf. “Don’t even think it.” He growled. And then, the Easterling's dark eyes moved back to watch the fun.

How could they even enjoy something like this? Legolas sat up, but was shoved down onto his stomach by an Easterling,, who had been guarding the elf. “Don’t even think it.” He growled. And then, the Easterling's dark eyes moved back to watch the fun.
Anoron wept; her eyes closed so tight -- the Easterling above her pinned her hands down to the rather hard ground, thrusting into her without care or worry; he simply wanted to fufill himself and use Anoron, without taking into consideration hurting her. He didn't care. The easterling moaned and cried out as he thrusted harder and faster - his mouth moving down to take one of her breasts into his mouth. Finally, he came within her, letting out a savage yell. He paused briefly, running his tongue all inbetween the vally of her breasts and up her neck - before pulling out of her and doing up his pants.
The Easterling tousled her hair roughly before walking away with a groan. Aragorn stood up quickly, intending to get to Anoron next and try to help her. "It's my go now on the wench!" He roared as the other Easterling's laughed.
But Anoron heard that, and was so hysartically determined NOT to be taken again, she stood; wobbling on her weak and sore legs, and took off into the forest brush. The easterlings laughed and chided Aragorn to 'hurry and catch up with her' -- which he did, Aragorn disappeared into the forest as well, chasing her. The other easterlings weren't worried, since there was noplace for the girl to go. Plus she was weak from being taken.
In the woods, Anoron tried to run; but cried as she did at the pain in her lower abdoman and body. Aragorn was quick to catch up with her and wrap his arms around her. Anoron screamed and cried. "Anoron!...Anoron, it's me! Aragorn!..Anoron!" He said, trying to calm her. Slowly, the she ranger began to calm, turning and looking at the 'easterling'. He took off his helmet and it was indeed Aragorn.
Anoron gave a relieved whine of happiness as the two embraced and fell to their knees on the forest floor, since Anoron was weak. She had wondered before, why HE was the only one who didn't take off his helmet when the others had started to drink and eat. "Aragorn," She cried, clutching onto his garb.
"You'll be alright Anoron. No more will you be taken." He whispered, kissing the top of her head and holding her. Aragorn let her cry for a few moments, knowing he had the time to comfort her. After all, the easterlings would just think he was taking advantage of her in the woods. "Anoron....the others are not dead. They await the time when they see our signal. An arrow, into the sky, lit aflame." He told her. Kissing her forehead, he looked into her eyes. "I want you to stay here. Hide yourself in these woods. Do not come out, nor be seen...unless it is I who calls to you." He advised. She nodded slowly.
Aragorn kissed her once on the lips, and again on the cheek in a father gesture, before standing. He took off his cloak, and draped it over Anoron and her torn clothing. No easterling would notice it was missing; he'd only put it on to keep warm, but Anoron needed it. Nodding to her, Aragorn headed back to the camp - taking out his blade. As he emerged, back in view of the easterlings....he pretended as if he was cleaning his blade.
"Where is she?" One laughed.
Aragorn snorted. "Damn girl got too outta control and wouldn't stay settled. Slit her throat." He said with an arrogant smirk. Some of the easterlings laughed, while the others 'booed' and sneered at him for killing the only woman. Aragorn rejoined them at the fire, glancing to Legolas briefly, before looking back to the easterlings. Once things quieted down, and easterlings began to pass out or go to sleep....Aragorn would shoot the arrow, and they would reclaim Rivendell.

Re: To the Ends of the Earth
Legolas closed his eyes and turned his face away. He could not watch as the man took her ruthlessly. His cries and groans filled the air and would not leave. The elf tried to ignore it, but it was no use, the man was too loud to not be heard. Anoron’s cries stung his heart deeply. If only he had been here with her, he could have saved Anoron and defended her from this. This sickening pleasure of men...how could they live with themselves after doing something like that? Did that not feel shame or guilt for doing such to another? They were truly heartless, not caring about anyone but themselves. There were men in the world that had no feelings for others, only to please themselves.
The sound of Aragorn’s voice made the elf’s eyes open and glance to Anoron. The Easterling’s foot was still on his back, holding him to the ground. Anoron finally stood, weak and torn from such torment. He stared at her sadly. However, not wanting to be taken again, she ran, fleeing into the woods. Aragorn ran after her, thankfully. Legolas knew that she would be all right with him, Aragorn would take care of the female ranger, he always seemed gentle around her, looking after her. Had he not known about Arwen, Legolas would have suspected that he loved her intimately. Sighing, he laid his head down on the ground and closed his blue eyes slowly. Time was passing slowly now, and it would continue on until the time to strike would come. That seemed far away.
A few minutes later, Aragorn came back, wiping the blade clean, emphasizing his statement. Finally, Anoron was safe. She was away from these Easterlings and away from harm. The foot moved from his back and his eyes opened. The elf watched the Easterling walk back over tot he camp with the rest of them, laughing and drinking more. Good. The more they drank, the quicker they would fall asleep. The quicker they would fall asleep, Aragorn could give the signal and they could take back Rivendell.
Night was late in the hour before the men, drunken and sleeping. Even the watches were falling asleep. Blue eyes watched Aragorn rise and pick up Legolas’ bow. Pulling an arrow from his quiver, he poked the tip of it into the fire and drew back. The flaming Arrow was drawn back on the bow and released. The signal. Lowering the bow, the ranger moved over to the elf quickly and undid his hands. Picking up the blade, he slit the sleeping Easterlings’ throats. The rope was removed from around Legolas’ neck and the elf grabbed his long knives from their sheathes on the back of his quiver. Legolas helped Aragorn slit their throats, and ushered the captives to take a sword and any fallen weapons.
Aragorn and Legolas ran to the gates, quickly and quietly killing the guards. While Legolas opened the gates, the ranger went off to kill the archers on the wall, helping his men. As soon as the gates opened, The army that they had rushed in, taking the Easterlings by surprise. Some woke and tried to get their weapons, but they were no match for the already prepared army. Rivendell was taken back quickly and effortlessly. Because of the surprise attack, none of the elves or men died. Some were wounded, but not to death. While Aragorn and the rest finished off the Easterlings, Legolas went to Anoron. His bow was in his hand as he ran through the city toward the woods. When he reached the woods, he noticed movement. Was it Anoron?
No. The Easterling was trying to hide, and while he tried to hide, he had stumbled upon Anoron. Anger flashed in his eyes as he grabbed her by the throat and pulled her to her feet. “You bitch!” He hissed, raising the dagger in his hand. “Because of you our plan was foiled! You will not live to see the light of day!” And he raised the blade, preparing to plunge it in to her chest.
But he stopped, eyes wide. Slowly he lowered his arm and released his hold. The Easterling cursed and fell to his knees. A dark arrow of Mirkwood stuck out from his back. Lowering his bow, Legolas watched the man fall to the ground in hatred. “How dare you disrespect a lady.” The elf sneered before turning his gaze to Anoron, staring at her in concern, guilt, and begging forgiveness.

He stopped, eyes wide. Slowly he lowered his arm and released his hold. The Easterling cursed, gurggling and grunting while looking up to her spitefully, and fell to his knees. A dark arrow of Mirkwood stuck out from his back. Lowering his bow, Legolas watched the man fall to the ground in hatred. Anoron's green eyes rose to look at the elven archer. “How dare you disrespect a lady.” The elf sneered before turning his gaze to Anoron, staring at her in concern, guilt, and begging forgiveness.
"Legolas," She said softly and wearily, looking to him both happily and utterly crushed and defeated. She moved to take a step, yet her shock was still in place, and her body still in pain from being taken. She crumpled like a rag doll after one step, but thankfully - the strong arms of Legolas caught her; he did not let her fall....yet rather, fell to the ground with her slowly, bringing them both to their knees. It was then she began to weap once more - weep out of relief that this was over, weep out of pain, weep out of humiliation.

Re: To the Ends of the Earth
Legolas held her close as she cried, wrapping his arms around her comfortingly. Poor Anoron. Legolas could not even begin to imagine the pain and humiliation that she was feeling right now. Not from the man that fell dead, but from being used as a toy for another’s pleasure. No one wanted to experience that, yet she had. His heart went out to her as he held the female ranger close. “Shhh...” He cooed, rubbing her back gently. Anoron was a strong woman, she could get through this. For a moment, they stayed like that: Legolas letting Anoron pour our her emotions, the mixture of them. The elf closed his eyes. Her sobs became softer, and her weeps slowed. The woman had gone through so much, he would not deny her time to let it out.Storing it up was never a good thing....something that Legolas did often.
“You’re safe, Anorista..” He whispered into her ear. The elf pulled back a bit to look at her. The elf frowned. Anoron had to be cold, even the cloak that Aragorn had given her would not be enough, as light as it was. The Easterlings were not as keen as the rangers of the North were. “You look cold...” He said sadly, looking at her torn clothes. Legolas removed the quiver from his back and the belt around his waist. The elf pulled the suede jerkin off of his body. He had a silver blue under tunic on, and the elves hardly felt the cold, for they could regulate their body temperatures. Humans, however, could not. Legolas helped slip it over her head, to not only keep her more warm, but to cover her torn clothes. The cloak that she had was wrapped around her once more. “Anorista....forgive me for my foolish choice...I wanted to go with Aragorn so badly...that I neglected you....I wish that I had been here....and you with Aragorn. Then, none of this would have happened..Because of me, you were made to suffer...”
The prince felt guilty, that was for sure. Perhaps all of this could have been avoided, had he been here with her or their places switched. Looking down, he picked up his quiver and fastened it back onto his back. His heart burned for her pain and to what happened to her this day. Blue eyes lifted to Anoron. Each time he gazed into her green eyes he saw the pain she felt and embarassment from the Easterling’s foul deed. He sighed. “Come...the last of the Easterlings have been pushed out or killed...we should get you inside...” And he stood. Legolas helped the ranger to her feet, And wrapped his arm around her waist. “Lean on me, I will be your support..” The elf’s voice was soft, smooth, and assuring. No more harm would come to her this day. But he glanced down at her, frowning. “Can you walk, Anorista?” Legolas asked. If she could not, the elf would not hesitate to carry her back.

Anoron shook her head a bit. "You could not have known that such a thing would happen. You saught only to protect your friend...Aragorn is more important to you than I. Such bonds are not cause for regrets." She said softly. Legolas made a choice to protect his longtime friend. He and Anoron had only known one another for a few days.
The prince felt guilty, that was for sure. Looking down, he picked up his quiver and fastened it back onto his back. His heart burned for her pain and to what happened to her this day. No more harm would come to her this day. But he glanced down at her, frowning. “Can you walk, Anorista?” Legolas asked.
"I...um..." She said, her voice beginning to shake. Could she tell him her thighs hurt? That her whole lower torso ached, and she felt as though she were bleeding internally and out. Her green eyes drew to him briefly, before looking away, and shaking her head slowly - unable to tell him. The elf seemed to understand immediately, and did not hesitate in picking her up into his strong arms. Anoron rested her head against his shoulder, feeling warm and safe within the elf's arms. They really were amazing creatures - beautiful, strong, and compassionate to all Eru's creatures.
Her eyes closed, weary and still dizzy from the pain in her lower body. The two emerged from the wood - elves and men jogging around, trying to clear Easterling bodies and set things in Rivendell back to order - recount their rations and supplies. No doubt deer or something would need to be hunted in the morning, so they could have food again. But right now....the hour was late, and the men and elves tired. Everyone needed a good rest. When Anoron reopened her green eye, she saw Legolas had taken her into the house of healing - and down to the Infirmary.
The healers were trying to help others who had been wounded too, but there were still beds left. Legolas set her on one, and fetched a healer - explaining....in so many, decent, descrete words - what had happened to her. The healer nodded, and bid Legolas to leave her for now - they would care for her. Anoron's weary eyes watched from her laying position on the bed....Legolas move to the door, and walk out just as silently as he came in. She could faintly hear mumblings of other patients and healers around her.
Slowly and softly, she heard elven words in her ear - calming ones, telling her what the person was doing; the healer, removing what was left of her torn breeches and tending to her lower form -- he began to examine her: clearing the blood, and inspecting for any infection, checking for a swollen womb, noting severe bruising around her thighs and hips. During this inspection, Anoron passed out, the last words she heard were from the elven healer, telling her to relax.
Days passed - elves and men rebuilding and restocking what the Easterlings had used or wasted. Anoron slept like she hadn't slept in years. Each day, the healers would check on her; breathing and recovery fine....it just seemed like weariness had plagued her. They continued to check for a swollen womb...hoping she wasn't pregnant. But nothing happened, so they were thankfully able to rule it out. Aragorn came to check on Anoron at least twice a day when he was alone - sitting by her bedside for an hour or two, hoping she would wake up so he could speak to her.

Re: To the Ends of the Earth
After Legolas picked Anoron up, the elf carried her toward the healer’s wing. She would need medical help for many reasons. Legolas could not see it, but she had bruises and marks on her legs from the Easterling. The ranger had to be in extreme pain. Why he was so protective of her he could not say exactly. Perhaps it was because she was a woman and he knew that men would do dirty things to get what they wanted, or even because Aragorn cared about her. Whatever the reason, he just was. There was no changing that. When they arrived in the infirmary, the elf set her down on the bed gently, and called for a healer. There were wounded yes, but they needed to tend to her as well. A healer did come and asked Legolas to leave. The elf nodded and glanced back to Anoron before slipping out the door.
Days passed, and Legolas kept himself busy, trying to keep his mind focused. His wounds were almost healed, barely a scratch now. The stitching had been removed and the cuts and gashes allowed to heal. He still had a few bruises from the beatings from the Easterlings, but nothing to hinder him. The elf went out with a few rangers to scout the lands and even do a bit of spying. With being busy and occupied, his mind would not wander to things, and people. Whenever he went to sleep, which was rare now, he always thought and wondered about Anoron. Was she well? He had been told that Aragorn visited her frequently. That was a good thing.
The scouting party returned back to Rivendell, being reports and supplies from allies. Legolas rode through the gates of Rivendell and dismounted in a gracefully leap from the dapple grey stallion. He lead the horse back to the stables, where they would take care of their companions. The evening was quiet, they had been for a while now, which rose suspicion in the people of Middle Earth. Sauron was planning something large, and it would be devastating. The elf dashed toward the main halls of the House of Elrond, looking for Aragorn. In his hand he held a paper. Long legs carried the tall elf up the stairs two by two, scaling them easily. He slowed to a job when he came to the infirmary. One of the nurses passed by, and the elf inquired where the Ranger was. With Anoron. It was too obvious, Legolas did not even need to ask.
His hand grasped the door and pushed it open. Sure enough, Aragorn was there, sitting in a chair beside the sleeping female ranger. The elf’s eyes passed from her to his friend, keeping focus. Legolas walked over to his friend, looking at him with a slight smile on his face. “Word has come from the people of Rohan. They pushed back the orcs of Mordor to the Wold. It has gone quiet now....and we should consider that...but it appears as if hope is growing. I think that there is deception among the Easterlings and the Ugluk-hai. Control obviously. We should inspect this, Aragorn, and find out all the information we can.” The elf said, handing the report to him. “I volunteer to scout and looking into this more. The fewer that go, the less likely it is they will spot us.”
Aragorn nodded. “Indeed. I will ask Elladan to go and see what he can find out from Eomer firstly.” Taking the scroll, grey eyes opened it and scanned it quickly. He sighed and rolled it back up and returned his gaze to Legolas, who was frowning, upset with his choice. Aragorn rolled his eyes. “You have done enough scouting, Legolas. We could use you here. You need to rest.” But before the elf could protest, he stood. “Stay here and watch her. If she wakes, call for me. I am going to inform the others and ask Elladan if he is willing for such a task.” “But I am willing, Aragorn. How better knows the lands than I? We have been there before.” Legolas said quickly and silently, not wanting to disturb the others.
The Ranger just shook his head and headed for the door. “My decision is final, Legolas. You need to stay here...you are needed here more.” Aragorn knew that he could not control or command Legolas like the dunedain. Who could command a prince? No one. Legolas was here because he cared for Aragorn, which he knew.
Legolas sighed and watched him leave the infirmary. The elf mumbled to himself and sat down in the chair that his friend had just risen from. Blue eyes glanced over to the sleeping Anoron. Watching her silently, he smiled a bit, reaching over and tucking some of her hair behind her ear. “You look well, Anorista. I hope that you feel better as well..” He whispered, nothing knowing if she could hear him or not. Legolas pulled the covers up over her more, and undid the quiver from his back. Setting it on the floor beside his chair, he leaned back in it, closing his eyes for a moment. Actually, it felt good to finally sit down and rest. Perhaps Aragorn was right. The man had a reason for his decisions, Legolas understood that, and he respected it.

I hope that you feel better as well..” He whispered, nothing knowing if she could hear him or not. Legolas pulled the covers up over her more, and undid the quiver from his back.
"I do, Master Elf." Came the soft voice of Anoron. With a smile growing on her lips, slowly and weakly she opened her eyes to the morning; Legolas was like a morning - golden hair like the sun, fresh, flawless face, and his green garb simulating green pastures. Certainly a pleasent sight upon waking. Yet she had almost expected to see Aragorn, but noticing Legolas was sitting in a chair, she had no doubt her leader and father-figure had been watching over her for a while. Legolas didn't seem like he would be able to do such a thing; so active, these elves.
But he was here now. "I shall get Aragorn, and alert him as to your waking," Legolas said respectfully.
"No," Anoron said softly, yawning and waking herself up. "It's fine. It is....really, I am fine. Such days of sleep and rest have done me good." Anoron noticed; she felt more like her old self than she had before. Thighs and lower torso were still a bit tender, but otherwise, she was feeling better. Her eyes turned to the window, and she saw activity happening outside within Rivendell. Things getting setup -- unknown to Anoron, those within the city were having a bit of a celebration. They were winning, as news from Rohan spoke of. The elves and men wanted to have a bit of a kick back and a relaxing, fun celebration.
"What's going on?" She asked Legolas with a small smile; hoping she hadn't missed out on too much during her days of sleeping.
