"Hey, you woulds seek privacy when elves pinch your cheeks and you are a kid." He said flatly and sat on the floor indian style. He looked up to her. "What do you do when no one is watching you or making you do things. Like be proper." Legolas asked curiously.
'Let a ploughman plough, but choose an otter for swimming, and for running light over grass and leaf, or over snow...an Elf.'

Anorista turned to him oddly for a moment, before sitting down as well. What did she do? Her eyes lifted to his. Everything.
She forced a smile and looked down at the pillows.
I can be free. Anorista said quietly, playing with the tassles on one of the pillows. I can say and do what I please...and not have to feel judged by anyone. Not elders. Not other children. Just for me.

Re: Celebration"Lucky...." He said pulling hid knees to his chest now. "My father always make me do this or that. Sometimes I don't like it...actually...I don't. Being pampered like a baby...and other kids call me names..." He said sniffing slighty from the memory. "They think I'm a spoiled brat...and all I wanted to do was fit in...you know? When you are just a normal person..." He looked down sadly.

Re: Celebration
Anorista looked back up to Legolas. I don't think your spoiled. She said quietly. A smile came to her lips. Though you are a brat....your not spoiled.
Turning, she began to dig through some of her pillows and papers, and odds and ends. I want to give you something Legolas. She said back to him. Turning back, she pulled out a small chain. It was a bracelette.
I know your a boy. And you probably don't want to wear it... She said rolling her eyes. But just keep it. It'll be like a little good luck charm.

Re: Celebration
Legolas smiled and took the the Bracelet. "I'll always keep it..." He slid it on his wrist and looked at it. "It's nice looking..." He reached inside his tunic and pulled out a necklace with a small leaf pendant. Legolas reached behind his neck and unclasped it. He handed it to her. "I want you to have this...as a rememberance of me...if we shant me again.."

Re: Celebration
Anorista smiled. Why thank you Prince Legolas. She said formally taking the necklace and bowing down. Such a pleasent gift from someone above my stature.
She laughed and tossed a pillow at him.

Re: Celebration
Anorista held the pillow and squeezed it gently. I feel a little foolish.....I've never had anyone ask me that before. She gave a nervous smile and blushed.
Yes. If I can call you my friend. She smiled. Anorista scooched over a little closer to Legolas and rested her head on his shoulder. And we will always be there for one another....because I have your necklace, and you have my bracelet.

Re: Celebration
Legolas smiled and warpped his arm around her shoulder, leaning his face on her head as well. "I would love to have you as my friend. We will do everything together...riding, walks in the woods..all of that fun stuff..." He smiled at thinking about it. Hopw fun it would be to have an actual friend, and not one because he was prince of Mirkwood.

Re: CelebrationAnorista! A shout was heard.
She sat up and looked out the window. It was her father and a few guards. Anorista!
Quick! She said to Legolas. Lay down and pretend your asleep. They won't make us go back inside if they think we've fallen asleep from staying up late. You won't have to go back to your party.
Both quickly lay down on the pillows and pulled a blanket over them. They were beside one another at first--but Anorista couldn't help snuggling further towards Legolas. His scent so warm and inviting.
Her father stepped upto the fort and sighed. How precious. He said tilting his head. It's all right gentlemen... He said back to his men. I'd like two of you to patrol around this area tonight. We'll let them sleep.
He headed back down the ladder. Anorista opened her eyes and smiled.

Re: Celebration
Legolas grinned widely at her. "That was brilliant Anorista..." he said with a sly smile. Then, ah ha! Legolas leaped at her and stranddled her. He started to tickle her sides. Laughing as she squirmed beneath him, laughing as well. His blue eyes sparkled with the mischieiousness any child had.

Re: Celebration
Anorista laughed and managed to bring her feet up to Legolas' chest. She pushed him back gently, yet hard enough to get him off her.
She grabbed a pillow and began to hit Legolas' repeatedly. Both laughed and jumped around the fort; feathers beginning to come out of the ripping pillows.

Re: Celebration
Legolas Laughed and hit her with the pillow in her side. "And to the victor goes the spoils!!!!!" He said with one final poof of the pillow He fell back onto the mess of feathers and other pillows. His arms out and smiling.

Re: Celebration
Anorista laughed, and she too flopped back on the many pillows. Looking up, fathers fluttered through the air; almost seeming to hover above them like magic.
She lifted her hand, trailing it in the air back and forht; letting her fingers grace the edges of the soft feathers. Sitting up, she scootched over to where the young prince lay and sat beside him.
Legolas? She asked. What will we do when I leave? My mother resides in Rivendell--and that's where I am to be sent after tonight. My father will stay here...and I will visit him...but I don't know when.
Her smile was gone now. For all she knew this could be the last time she would see Legolas.

Re: Celebration
Legolas frowned and sat up. His hands in his lap. "Well...we could write." He smiled slightly. "For I am sure that you will come back...and when you do..you better tell me. I have no other friends...save you..." He said taking her hand in his. "I don't want to loose you because you are in another realm." He smiled and winked to her. "You have my necklace...the pendant of the greenleaves..and I have your bracelet...so in a sense..we will always be together..."

Re: Celebration
Anorista smiled and squeezed Legolas' hand tightly for a moment. I'm glad. She said.
Scooting over more, she yawned and rested her head on Legolas' shoulder. It was quite late, but their parents were still at the party. Anorista didn't want to be there. She didn't feel like standing there around all those elders, being proper and nice.

Legolas yawned too and laid down. Her head was still on his shoulder, and his arm was around her shoulders holding her in a comforting way.
A smile was on his face as he closed his eyes and drifted into a light sleep.

Re: CelebrationLady Anorista?! A voice called. Anorista's eyes slowly opened. She was still in the treehouse; having fallen asleep. Legolas was still with her--his arm around her as she had her head on his shoulder.
Lady Anorista! The voice called again. Sitting up she quietly went to the window of the fort, and looked down to see two Elven guards. Your father beckons for you, child. You are to leave soon and make way back to Rivendell.
Anorista nodded slowly and went back inside. She looked to Legolas sadly, wishing she didn't have to go. Moving over, she crouched down and placed a gentle kiss on his forhead, before leaving the treefort and heading back towards Mirkwood.

Re: Celebration
Legolas woke up and walked to the window. He wacthed her go sadly. She was there...then the next, she was gone. Sighing he left the treehouse and returned back to hhis party, which he dreaded.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Stop it!!" Legolas yelled as he ran after an elf. "GIVE IT BACK!!" He growled as he lept on the elf and tackled him to the elf to the ground. The elf laughed and held the bracelet out of the prince's reach.
"Stop acting like a sissy brat" The elf hissed and tossed it away.
"HEY!!!" Legolas pushed the boy and moved to get the bracelet from teh ground, but was pulled down. He growled and kicked hte boy in the jaw. The two started to fight. A swift punch to the nose made Legolas' nose bleed. He kicked the elf in teh groin and moved to the bracelet again. They fought for a good hour before the boy ran off.
Legolas' nose bleed, a bruised torso, and a red cheek. He picked up the bracelet and slid it on.
Re: Celebration
Anorista stumbled slightly as she was shoved. A few Elven maidens were teasing her about the necklace she wore. They followed her as she walked down the street from her father's home. She'd just arrived in Mirkwood that morning.
As she finally managed to pull away from the taunting girls, she rounded the corner and almost bumped into another adolecent Elf. A boy.
Well! Anorista! He said, giving a small chuckle and looking to her. Returned to Mirkwood, have you?
She looked to him and gave a nervous smile. Not quite, Nydinor.
Anorista had known all these people. Most were mean. Yet Nydinor and a few others were...odd. Neither mean nor good.
I swear you look more desireable each time I see you. He said, leering at her slender form.
Anorista adjusted her cloak tighter around her. Thank you, Nydinor.
