Re: The Path Home (cont.)
Anorista smiled and stuggled away from him laughing. I think your just as hungry as I....but you can't eat me.
She walked towards the door and opened it slowly. Anorista looked both ways cautiously, but let out a scream; Legolas pinched her sides, causing her to leap into the hallway. He laughed and she gave him a playful smack.

Despite you, I AM trying to be careful not to run into your father! She said, trying to hide her smile.

"The we can hide you..." He smiled slyly as he lifted her up in his arms and kissed her passionately. Diving his tongue into her mouth, finding her ans and rubbing it with his own. As he kissed her he smiled.

Pulling away He looked around. "All is well.." He smiled and made his way to the kitchen, with her in his arms.

Re: The Path Home (cont.)
Once reaching the kitchen, she struggled laughing. Put me down! She ordered. Laughing, he did as she asked. Anorista striaghtened her dress out and walked to the fridge.

I swear...anything but lembas... She mumbled while searching through the fridge. Yet a sudden pain on her behind caused her to scream and turn. Legolas had pinched her. She moaned and gave him another light slap. I swear...worse than the creatures of Mordor, you are!

He laughed and jumped back. He threw his hands up as in defeat. "You win! You win!" He laughed more. Watching her amused. He waited until she bent over.

Bingo..he pinched her again on her buttox and jumped back as he stood. Knowing he was going to get a slap for that one

Re: The Path Home (cont.)
Anorista turned and glared darkly at Legolas; still with a small smile on her lips. You, my lord, are going to get it!

She unleshed an attack of slaps on his chest and and arms. Laughing as she did it. Legolas managed to grab her arms and spin her around into him, so her back was to her chest.

Anorista laughed and squirmed as he kissed her neck. But her eyes caught something up ahead, and she stopped. Legolas had his head buried into her neck and didn't notice. But when he felt her stop laughing and stand still he looked up.

Thranduil.

Re: The Path Home (cont.)
Legolas' smile faded as his eyes laid on his father. Cruel. His jaw tightened and he instictively pulled her behind him. His hands locked with hers. No one said a word.

His eyes darkened out of hate towards his father. He was blinded. Could he not see he was happy with his new wife? The fool. Flatly he glared at his father.

Re: The Path Home (cont.)
Anorista peered at Thranuil over and beside Legolas' shoulder, as he had pulled her behind him. They seemed to be having a silent argument; their eyes portraying all of their anger or mixed feelings.

Anorista.... He said darkly, yet expressionless. I'm a little surprised to see you here.

He seemed to look right through Legolas into Anorista. She dropped her eyes to the floor.

"And I'm suprised how cruel you are. You said you cared. But do you? If you had a mind at all, besides for wine and jewels you wou relize that my place is beside my wife. And I am tried of you pulling his apart. Fthaer, I say this now. You will have to Kill me to touch her."

His voice dripped with venom. He was serious, as his face was stone.

Re: The Path Home (cont.)
I come not for her Legolas... He said flatly. Since I can now see, she will come back no matter what. I came for you.

He took a few steps forward, and picked up an apple, and began examining it. You've been entered into an arranged marriage. The wedding will take place tomorrow evening. The lucky bride....Eölan. You will attend....even if I must drag you there myself. The minister has agreed to an annolmant between you and Anorista, so you may marry Eölan.

Re: The Path Home (cont.)
His eyes widened. "You..." He growled out. "I will NOT MARRY ANOTHER!" His voice was loud and stern. Much to that of his father's. "Too long have I been pushed under your boot to do as you say. Will here is ENDS father. I will not Marry her. This I swear. I married one. and it will remain as such. My heart is to Anorista. And her alone."

His grip tightened somewhat on her hands. Fear was in that girp. Confusion. Help. Weakness. He tried to figure out what to do. "Father...if you must drag me...then you will be giving a fight. I have my wife. And I hate Eolan! I hate her!I hate you!"

Re: The Path Home (cont.)
Anorista listened to Legolas' words. Never before had he sounded so angry. He was different.

You would rather have ranger-trash than the beauty of Lorien? Thranduil asked his son coldly. Anoritsa's eyes lowered. Ranger trash. That's how he saw her. Of course, that's how most other Elves saw her too.....maybe Legolas did deserve better.

Re: The Path Home (cont.)
Legolas' eyes hardened. "She is not ranger trash. How could you speak as such to your kin. My wife. The beauty of Lorien is Galadriel and her realm. Not Eolan. She is nothing to me. And will remain such. I WILL NOT BE FOOD FOR A HUNGRY BEAST!" His yelled to his father.

No more would his father come between him and Anorista. He was tired of it.

Re: The Path Home (cont.)
I don't consider her my 'kin', Legolas. He said strongly. Elves like her come to hard working souls like yours, and corrupt them. Poisoning their minds. You've been decieved.

He looked to Anorista once more and began to slowly walk closer towards them.

"It seems like you are the corrupted one father..." He said backing away, pushing Anorista as well. SHe was till behind him. He used himself as the blockade between the two.

"Anorista..." He whispered for her to hear only. "Make for my chambers...lock the door...when you hear three knock...you'll know it's me..." He said quietly. Making sure thranduil did not hear.

Re: The Path Home (cont.)
Anorista nodded slowly. As Legolas and Thranduil continued to speak, she suddenly backed up and out of the kitchen. Thranduil went to follow, but Legolas blocked his way.

Stand down... He warned his son.

-----------------

Anorista jogged quickly through the hall until reaching her room. As soon as she got in, she locked the door and breathed a sigh of relief. But as she turned around she gasped.

Eölan?! She asked. The she-elf was sitting on Legolas' bed. What are you doing here?

Anorista was annoyed at her. She hadn't seen or heard from her since Legolas' jailing incident.

Legolas glared at his father. "No. I can not step aside and alolow you to hurt her. You are the one to stand down father. I-" Legolas was met with a cold hard slap to the face. Slightly he looked up to his father. Wiping the blood from his lips. His own stare cold.

"Legolas...I don't know what to do with you. But I will not talorate this behavior! If I must....I will disown you!" His tone dripped with ice.

"If you disowned me faher, I would take my wife Anorista with me. That you can not stop. No matter what you do...we can no longer be separated."

Re: The Path Home (cont.)
Anorista watched as Eölan stood from sitting. She slowly walked over to her, and stood inches from her.

Why couldn't you let someone else have him? She asked Anorista coldly. Your already his best friend...why not let someone else have his love?!

Anorista intook a deep breath. I cannot control his heart, nor who he loves. You can't blame me for this.

Can't I? Eölan asked angrily. She grabbed the sides of Anorista's arms roughly. Let me have him Anorista! You have everything!...Allow me this happiness! Give me his love!

Anorista pulled away from her, and walked around Eölan. You forget yourself, Eölan. Please leave these chambers.

Suddenly, Anorista felt an arm around her neck. Stronger, than she expected. It was Eölan. She was screaming in fury as she pulled her back and to her knees.

I won't let you!!! She yelled furiously. She flung Anorista back on the ground and straddled her. Eölan and Anorista struggled for dominance for a while, until she managed to her hands around Anorista's throat. Slowly...strangling her.

Anorista faught and punched Eölan, but the she-elf did not move. Now....he'll be mine.

Anorista's sight began to fade to black.

Legolas glared at his father. "Father...do not touch me again! I have had eno-" Again the hand of Thranduil striked his son. This time very forceful, causeing Legolas to fall to the ground. He cupped his bruised cheek and looked up at his father, who was looming over him.

"Legolas...We will speak of this later..." And with that, he stormed off.

Legolas winced from the pain in his cheek. He had hit him hard. Blood trickled down his lip. Standing he made his way to his room. Knocked three times. No answer. He frowned.

Re: The Path Home (cont.)
Eölan's head snapped to the door as she heard the knock. Anorista managed to let out a small, yet painful whine--unable to make any other sound--and hoping Legolas would hear it.

Eölan turned her attention back to Anorista and continued strangling her. Just relax... The she-elf said wickedly. It'll be over soon.

Anorista's eyes rolled back in her head.

Re: The Path Home (cont.)
"Anorista!" That simple little wimper was all he needed to hear. He rammed the door with his schoulder, trying to knock it down. No good. Growling he looked around. A statue! That would surely work. He grabbed the stone statue. It was as big as him, and heavy. Taking a deep breath he rammed the statue into the door. And again. Soon teh door cracked. Nodding he dropped the statue and hastly rammed the door once mor with his shoulder. It collasped and he charged in.

Regaining his feet he looked to Anorista. She was on teh ground. Being choked. His blood boiled and he ran to her side. Grabbing Eölan's wrist hard. He pried her hands off of Anorista's neck. His grip was so hard it wasa as if he was going to break her wrists; but he did not. He pushed her away causing her to fall back. forgetting about her and dropped down on his knees and cupped Anorista's face in his hands. "Anorista....please...love...speak to me..." He closed his eyes and craddled her in his arms. He had forgotten about Eölan.
