Re: .: How It May End :.
"Anoron....he refuses to come down until we talk this over. He wants us together. Narwain does not want to go. I don't blame him. I don't want you two to go either. Why must you take him? Why can't he stay here with me? Why can't we go as a family? He is as much my child as he is yours. We must get this straighten out.." Taking her hand he led her back to where Narwain was, but he was not there.

"Narwain?! Come now son! Naneth is here...come down now please..." Legolas could only hope Narwain could talk sense into them, both himself and Anoron. He himself was loosing hope.

Re: .: How It May End :.
Anoron sighed and looked around Narwain was no where to be seen. Narwain!? She called again. No answer. The boy stayed hidden where he was. She looked around, depleated. She'd had enough. Narwain, you come down here or else!.... Anoron warned.

She needed time away from Legolas. To think. To reflect. If you don't come down here, I assume you wish to stay with ada, in which case, I shall go to Edoras alone!...... She told him. Anoron needed time, and time was what she shall get.

Re: .: How It May End :.
Legolas growled fustrated. He took her by the arm and turned her so she faced him. "Anoron! Stop this! Stop it now! You are breaking us up! You saw something that should have never of happened. I'm sorry you can at the wrong time..but let it go. PLEASE. I did try to get away from her. It is not my fault. Anoron, We don't want you to leave. I don't. Narwain doesn't. He is being more mature then us right now. Even I was foolish to give up so quickly."

His eyes were firm. He was not going to let this go so easily. "What is it you want so bad?! What if I was then one who wanted to leave?! Wouldn't you feel hurt! Look at my situation! Look how much PAIN I've been through. I swore I would never leave you..and damn it I tend to keep it like that! You are hurting yourself as well...stop running away from the problems...I did what I could. I am limited to movement...rather you want to believe it or not. I am not some invincible being. SOmethings would not come as easily.Try more of shock! I was taken aback by the kiss. I asked for forgiveness. If you leave...it makes me wonder if you loved me...to leave me...and take my OWN FLESH AND BLOOD with you."

He sighed. "Anoron..this is a family. It has challenges. We need to fight them together. Why do you not trust me?! That what this is...TRUST. I have trusted you..will you not trust me?"

If you love me.... She said softly, her eyes boring into his own. Then give me time. Give me time to get over what pain you have caused me.

Looking back to the tree, she pulled herself from his grasp and headed back down the path. At the moment, she couldn't stand to be around Legolas. All she could do was picture him with Cosette. Kissing, having sex....everything made her blood boil. She knew if she were to stay now, all they would do was fight. Narwain could stay with Legolas until she returned. Both were stubborn -- that much was obvious.

Finally reaching the stables, Anoron began to ready her horse.

After a few moments, since Anoron left, Narwain slowly climbed down the tree. He took small steps towards where Legolas stood.

Legolas sighed and looked sadly down at his son. "I'm sorry Iond.." He kelt down to his son's level and pulled him into a hug. "I tried... I really did...perhaps she does not want me around...Come...you best say your last goodbyes to your mother...she does not want me around..I'll be waiting nearby." Standing and taking Narwain's hand, he led him back to teh stables, and ushered him towards her. He was sure to stay out of her sight. His heart felt shattered.

Re: .: How It May End :.
As Anoron led her horse out, she stopped, as she saw her young eight year old boy standing there innocently and sadly. Sighing, she knelt down and motioned for him to come over. He did so rather quickly, and hugged her tightly. Farewell, my son....I shall see you soon. Listen to your father, and do what he tells you....

Reaching into her pocket, she pulled out a small object. Wooden, round, with the design of a tree on it. Here....keep this. It was mine when I was little.

Looking to Narwain with much affection, she kissed him on the forhead and the cheek before hugging him again. A small tear began to form in her eye, so she pulled back and stood. Be good... She told him lastly.

Nodding, she swung up onto her horse, and began to slow trot out of Rivendell.

Legolas sighed sadly as he watched his love and wife leave. His heart seemed to shatter. Slowly he walked over to Narwain, and put a hand on his shoulder. The father and son watched Anoron leave. It would be a long time before they saw her again. There they stood for quite sometime. In silence. Looking down, Legolas cried silently. The tears flowed freely. He cared not who saw. It was his fault she had left..and both he and Narwain had to suffer.

It was not until sunset did they walk inside. How dearly she would be missed.

Re: .: How It May End :.
10 YEARS LATER

The black steed of the ranger trotted at a slow, yet eager pace. 10 years had Anoron been away. She was now 35, more of a woman than she was when she left. Wiser, and more mature. She was happy, thinking about Rivendell. She wanted to see her son again. He'd be almost 19 now. Legolas, too, she wished to see. Both men she loved. One had one her heart, and the other was created from it.

Reaching within the walls of Rivendell, she swung off her horse. She took it to the stables, nodding to a few Elves. She wondered where Legolas and Narwain would be. Perhaps they did not live here anymore. Perhaps they'd moved somewhere else. Anoron looked at herself -- in rangering clothes which fit tightly to her body. She'd gotten a little sidetracked, when she met up with a few others rangers when going to Edoras. She never actually got there.

Slowly she began to pace around the elven city she once called home. It was early morning, so no one was up yet. The peace and quiet were welcoming. Still, she longed to hear the voice of her beloved, or son.

Re: .: How It May End :.
Legolas' leg had healed, and he had aged slightly. It was hard to see, save when one looked into his eyes. Narwain slept soundly in his room. He had grown into a man now. Nearly 19. His elven ears twitched as he heard faint footfalls on the marble floor. Throwing on a loose tunic and breeches, he cast a robe on him and walked out into the halls.

There he saw her. Anoron. A smile was on his face. His wife had returned. He quickly walked towards her and soon enough he was standing before her. He said nothing. Simply gazing into her eyes. Those eyes he missed for 10 years.

Re: .: How It May End :.
Anoron smiled as she saw her love. He looked as youthful as ever. She guessed if she was around 35, Legolas was around 38, in human standards. But still, he was even more handsome and regal then any Elf or Immortal could be.

Mae Govannen, Legolas.... She said softly, her eyes still dancing into his. Before he could reply, Anoron could wait no longer. She wrapped her arms around his neck and embraced him tightly. Her nose nuzzled Legolas' neck; smelling the familiar scent she loved, and feeling the soft skin she grew so used to. Finally, Anoron was home.

Re: .: How It May End :.
Legolas wrapped his arms around her waist and embraced her tightly. At last after long years his wife and love returned. "Mae govannen ANoron...welcome home.." The familiar touch of her that haunted his dreams came. Her ever daunting scent he longed for. At last she was here. In his arms. "I thought about you every moment...thank Eru you're home at last..." Legolas' heart leapt with joy. A smile wide from ear to ear upon his fair Elvish face. He was so happy that he twirled her around in his arms slowly.

Setting Anoron back down, he cupped her face in his hands. His long and slender fingers trailed her jaw and over her smooth skin. He could not bear it. He needed to feel the lips that he missed for so long. Surely his lips found hers as Legolas kissed Anoron passionately. It was like a dream. A dream that came true...

Re: .: How It May End :.
Anoron arched into Legolas as she was pulled into his arms and kisse deeply. Slowly, she relaxed into it. She had forgotten how strong and desirable he could be. But she also hadn't thought about his "absense" from her attention. Elves can go long periods of time without sex, since they are immortal. Yet Legolas was now mortal. Time went by for him, as it did for other mortals. It was no doubt new to him. And the thought of Legolas burning with desire for release....made her smile.

Pulling back, she looked to him. It's good to see you.... She said, a content smile on her face.

Re: .: How It May End :.
"It is good to see you as well my love...I missed you greatly..." His arms never left her waist. He loved the woman in his arms. He married her. Now both were mortal, and aging. Because he was of the elven kind, it would be harder for him to show physical signs of aging. He would age slower than a mortal man, and faster for sure then an elf. A smile still graced his lips.

He sighed contently. This was what life was. "Narwain has grown a lot. I swear he looks like you every day. He has your eyes..and your beauty...already he is growing up to be a man...he speaks of being a ranger like his mother."

Re: .: How It May End :.
Anoron smiled. Well, unlike my father or mother, I shall not keep him from doing such, should his heart desire it. I'm sure you've given him helpful pointers in all the time I've been away. They slowly began to walk together, as she paused. For which, I am sorry. My absense. I did not mean to be away for so long....but it seems all those years, I'd been a mother....I was needed. I suppose I had to make up for it.

She felt bad about leaving Legolas ten years earlier. It was a mistake. Anoron knew she should have just stayed. But perhaps it was good for them. Father and son, spending their lost time together.

Re: .: How It May End :.
Legolas sighed and looked to her. It was rue, she had been gone for some time, but he was not one to hold grudges. Nor was he a cold and apathetic being. "Anoron..." He began. Stopping Anoron to look at him. "You left for a long time...ten years of torture. A son to grow into his years of adulthood, while you missed his teenage years. If I was cruel and cold, I would not be her now. I would not be here to hold you. What you did was...pain. A great pain. But I guess it is just from what happened to me. Most likely you still do not believe me. But there is nothing we can do of it now, save leave it where it is. In the past."

He brought a hand to her cheek and cupped it. "Anoron...I love you. Do you now believe me? I have felt cold inside. Cold of your leave. Narwain has felt it too. When he was in bed asleep I cried for your returned. For ten years I carried a heavy heart...but for the sake of our son I held my head up. Did you really have to leave? Was it true that you wanted to get away from me?"

Re: .: How It May End :.
At the time.... She sighed. I believe it to be true. I believed that what I needed was to get away from you. To clear my head, and think more rationally. And to be honest, it helped. If I hadn't gone....who knows where this relationship would be right now. It was hard for me to come to any kind of conclusion, with you forcefully telling me you were innocent. I saw you, kissing, and she atop you. Legolas, you must realize what kind of torture THAT insued on me.....not to mention, the absense of you also.

She sighed, and began to slowly walk again down the path. The air was crisp and fresh. Morning air. I had chances....to not come back. The male rangers I was with....they wanted me to stay. One really cared for me. But I returned for you and Narwain. I knew there was a reason I left, and even though it was because of you....it was for you.

Anoron stopped and leaned against the tree for a moment. Her green eyes looked upon the path which led deeper into the woods. She was facing away from Legolas, since he had patiently stayed still while she spoke.

Do you understand, Legolas?.... She asked, now looking to the ground. I did what I did, because I had to. The situation was complicated and much was going through my mind. I know you may say we could've worked it out....but you do not know that. Staying might have made things worse.

Slowly he walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her. Pulling her inot a tender embrace. "I am glad you did come back..." Legolas whispered in Anoron's ear. "But I will not grduge you. I do not entirely understand..but I will let it be. I do not want this to happen again." He kissed her neck and rested his chin on her shoulder. "Would you pardon all that I have done? You still seemed upset about this all. I truely do love you. Why do you think I wanted to go with you. I feared for your life..and wanted to get away from her."

Anoron nodded slowly, yet said nothing. Grudge her? For leaving? She did it for them. If anything, she should hold a grudge against him....for kissing Cosette. But she held her tongue. That did not need to be braught up again. Her hand gently stroked the strong arms which held her around her waist. She leaned back into him, missing the warmth and contact from others -- though having the opportunity when she was away, never took it.

"I am glad you are home...come..Narwain will be waking soon...and he would love to see his mother again." Smiling slightly he kissed her cheek and intertwined her fingers with his own. Legolas kissed her neck again and absentmindedly rocked to and fro slightly. This he missed. Anoron. She was his heart. Without her..he could not lve. Through fire and death it seemed he had passed through until the light shown anew and she came.

Re: .: How It May End :.
Anoron smiled and nodded. The two began to walk back towards the home of Elrond, and the many wings. Legolas was still in the east wing, but Narwain had moved into her old room. His room was taken by another Elf. Anoron knew she would now be staying with Legolas. Or would she? Would he expect her to find her own room? Like before?

It didn't matter. She was home. Though containing herself was becoming quite a strain. She hadn't had sex for a long time.....well....allowed sex. Not since Gwanath had raped her. But still -- she was over it. And the desire was great within her. Her eyes casually drifted to Legolas on occasion, knowing he would be fully healed now.
