Re: Of Love and War
Legolas kissed her back passionately and pushed the dress off of her arms. Then he pushed it off of her and onto the floor. The same devilish yet loving smile upon his face. "I would have you by my side always...when I return to Mirkwood..come with me...I could not bare to leave you behind." He said kissing her bosom again. He wanted Cosette with him always, he never whated to leave her again. As far as he was concerned, he was with the woman of his dreams. It was love at first sight and neither wanted to leave the other. As his lips found hers in a hungry kiss his hands fumbled with the cords of his breeches. He had to feel her within, to feel her warmth.

Re: Of Love and War
Cosette heard his request to return to Mirkwood with him....but how could they? Without exposing their secret affair to Malacai?....The escape would have to be quick and silent. But she dare not question him now. They were about to make love, and Cosette found herself shiverring at the very thought with anticipation.

Legolas was quick to remove his tunic and shirt, along with his breeches. He helped slide her gown off, until both were bare skinned. They stayed there for a few moments; quiet and tranquel.....in awe of the beauty of the other. Cosette had never seen one so entrancing. Raising her hand, she trailed it down his muscular chest as he hovered above her. Cosette then pulled him to settle between her legs as another kiss ensured. His bare hips felt smooth and amazing against the inside of her thighs.

Re: Of Love and War
The feel of his hips against his was amazing and a feeling he did not want it to end. Slowly he put his arms on either side of her and soon we inside of her. He let out a lustful cry of pain and passion as he was inside of her womb. With a slow and steady rythum he pumped into her while his lips captured hers in a tender kiss. Had the prince not been holding himself up or strong he would have colasped for his body trembled slightly.

Re: Of Love and War
((while listening to: Celtic Twilight - Loreena McKennitt))

The thrusts and rhythm of their love making, was slow and meaningful. Like nothing she'd ever experienced. Cosette closed her eyes as he pumped within her -- he now an extention of her. Their bodies and mind knew what they were doing, and savored the act, rather than make it mindless with passion like their previous kisses had been.

As Cosette opened her eyes, she looked up to the canopy drooping down above them. Legolas' head was near the crook of her neck; she could feel his breath on her skin as he panted. Cosette slipped into a conscious state of bliss. Above, small specks of light seemed to occasionally flicker around them -- like fireflies.

That was how she knew. She loved Legolas. He was her soul mate. It would all work out, and he would never be cruel to her.

The lovemaking continued on softly; lingering and beautiful -- both elves never wanting it to end.

Yet soon, both climaxed, and let out only small gasps. Their eyes opened, and blue met brown. Breathing heavily, but not fast -- Cosette raised a soft hand and gently cupped Legolas' cheek as he looked down at her with devotion and affection. She gave him a warm, depleated smile. He turned his head slightly, to kiss the palm of her hand and her wrist gently and lovingly.

The decore of the room was quite foresty and nature like. Deep greens and browns. Slowly, Cosette sat up, and turned their positions, so she was now lying atop Legolas; he out of her now. Her fingers trailed across his neck lightly, as her lips only brushed by his own.

Re: Of Love and War
Legolas' chest, that was glazed with presipatation of passion, heaved up and down as his head craned forward to reach and lock lips with the beautiful elf before him. A beam of everlasting light radiated from her, a light of everlasting love. Cosette was the angel sent to save him and fly away with him. Their hearts and souls had become fixed together as one and beat proudly. The moonlight that hovered outside the window was a beam of light that illuminated the souls of the Eldar. The first born and certainly the most passionate of all the races that walked the earth.

The world seemed to stop for them and the darkness was only faint in the background as the sapphire eyes of the prince of Mirkwood gazed up into those of his lover. Cosette. No woman could ever make his heart swell with emotion. Looking up at her a silver tear came to his eyes and rolled down his cheek, but that tear was not of morose sadness. A tear of pure happiness. Like a mystic dream of old, and the union of lovers it was, and it would always be.

Legolas knew the consequences of this, to bed the wife of a king. It was only a small price to pay. He would welcome the death if he could have one last look at her. Just one last invision of her. Now it became ever more clear to him that he truely was inlove with the woman above him. Slowly did he lift a hand to the side of her face and run long fingers through the soft waves of beautiful russet hair. Like a waterfall running through his fingers.

To the eyes of Legolas it seemed that a crown for bright stars was upon her brow. Even the stars kindled the aurora around her. No words could he find to describe what he felt for her. With bent knees he settled her between his bare legs and brought Cosette close to his chest. His hand took hers and he held it over his heart. "Do you feel this? Every beat that stirrs within my breast beats for you. Every pulsing occurance is because of thee. Ever will you be in my mind, for you gave me the greatest gift. Love. True love"

Re: Of Love and War
Cosette looked to him; eyes warm and full of admiration. Taking his hand, she kissed his palm and then kissed his chest where his heart lay.

The forbidden lovers stayed like that; entwined and warm within her chambers, eyes closed and savoring the feel of the other. Bare skinned, soft, and gentle. Yet the night grew longer, and Cosette knew what that meant. Slowly, she lifted her head from his chest and looked to Legolas. Her hands stroked his cheek a few times in order to get him to fully open his eyes and look to her.

.....I have to go back.... She said, referring to Malacai. He would return soon, and expect to see his wife in their bed. She looked to Legolas with sad eyes, but a warm smile; running her fingers across his lips.

Re: Of Love and War
Legolas frowned and looked to Cosette sadly. He did nt want the woman who had stolen his heart to leave so soon, too soon. The night was flying by, and the world spinning faster now. The prince scoffed at the name of Malacai, but held his tongue. "When will I see you again, dear Cosette?" He asked as his hand brushed her soft and tender cheek, the silken skin of his lover, sweetness of love. Already he could feel his heart stop beating and cease to be whole. She would soon return back to Malacai and who knows what the man would do. It sickened him and already jealousy came, but like before he held his tongue. Legolas simply stroked her cheek, remembering and burning the image of her in his mind forever.

Re: Of Love and War
Cosette brushed her lips lightly against those of Legolas, before looking to him warmly -- yet no smile to she bear, for she did not like leaving anymore than he. Tomorrow, after sunrise. Malacai will want to have breakfast all together, and then announce his plans for the day. I do believe he intends to have a going-away celebration for you. Not large, but enough of the lords and ladies. She said softly.

Slowly and reluctantly, she slid off of Legolas' warm skinned body and stepped lightly on the floor. She went to a chair, where a thin robe was already drapped over the back. She slipped it on over her slender, soft form slowly. Cosette turned her head back to look at Legolas and smile.

Re: Of Love and War
A sad smile lingered on his face as he rose from the bed and onto the floor. The wood was cold against his feet as he picked up his breeches and slid them on. "As long as you're there, I will be comforted." He said as he did the bonds to his breeches. Legolas continuously tried to think up a plan to get her out of here unnoticed, but the people were all over her being an elf it would be hard. Now that the political importance was done, Legolas to leave, for his father would be awaiting the news.

"My father will look upon my return soon. My time here is over and I must go back to Greenwood soon, but not yet." And the prince put on a smile as he slid the tunic on and did up the clasps. "I would look foolish if I was not in my room that was offered. I will return there and think of yo as I lie in the sheets." Said he. After the tunic was on he quickly slid the boots on and neared her. Her scent was all over him. A hand Legolas placed under her chin as he lifted her head up and gazed at her fondly.

"We shall meet again. No force can keep me from you. Here I pledge my love and devotion to you, Cosette of Imladris." And he lowered his head down to kiss her with passion and romance. His arms went around her waist as he kissed her. Cosette was his everything now, and not even death could break it. Legolas loved her, and he would fight anyone to save her or keep her.

Re: Of Love and War
Cosette indulged the kiss back with just as much love and passion. She knew Legolas would be true to his word. She knew he wanted her, and would do most anything to keep her. He would not make the same foolish mistakes Malacai had; he would keep her close and happy -- so she would have no reason to ever pull away.

As the kiss ended, Cosette stroked his face gently -- and both left the room. With a small lingering touch to each other's hands, they parted ways -- he down to the left, and she back to the right and into her husband's chambers.

When Malacai returned, he was largely in the mood for love. Cosette did not deny him -- but the whole time, she thought, or compared him to Legolas. Not even a question. What she'd shared with the elven prince only an hour ago, would not be forgotten, nor beaten easily. Once done, Malacai embraced her close as he slept.

Come morning, Malacai and the two elves were speaking over a delightful breakfast. Well Legolas, you leave tomorrow, hm? I hope you don't mind, but I've arranged a small celebration for tonight. Mostly high lords of councils and their ladies. A farewell ball.....you deserve it. He said with a smile.

Cosette briefly glanced at Legolas, then looked down. She wondered how this would go. She would not really be permitted to leave Malacai's side, lest he give her permission.

As breakfast finished, Cosette excused herself out to the gardens, as Malcai spoke with Legolas about the official tie -- and then went to council. Legolas was given permission to roam the halls freely as he wished.

Once in the gardens, she sat under a shaded tree, reading. She was very beautiful, in a plain sort of way. Her dresses were not all extravagant, nor did she want them to be. Cosette's hair was loosely tied back, as strands of her hair blew gently in the wind. Though reading, her thoughts were constantly drifting to Legolas.....

What did he plan?

Re: Of Love and War
Legolas followed her out to the gardens an searched for the keeper of his heart. She was here, he could sense her. Upon finding her, the prince walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her, resting his chin on her shoulder. "An interesting book is it meleth nīn?" He asked as his hands drifted down to rest on her stomach--rubbing there fondly. He placed a kiss on Cosette's neck. He lowered himself down, behind her still, and seated himself there and pulled her back against his chest.

Re: Of Love and War
Cosette smiled but shyed away from Legolas, moving away from him, until she was able to sit facing him. She closed the book and gave him a warm smile. I don't think it's such a good idea to be so affection when in the garden. Who knows what eyes may be watching....guards....servants....advisors.... She said with a nod.

All she wanted to do was get lost in his arms right now, but she wanted to be cautious. Cosette did not want to chance them getting found out before Legolas left. Hoepfully, with her. May I ask how you intend to leave?....With me?.... She whispered. Cosette hoped he had thought of something.

Re: Of Love and War
Legolas had given it thought indeed, but wether it was good or not is another thing. "Well...the nitgh of the celebration...I was thinking after it was over and once every soul is drifting in slumber, we sneak out together in silence back to my home. It don't know how this will work...but perhaps you can help me merge an idea..." He said taking her hands and looking into her eyes.

Re: Of Love and War
Cosette slipped her hands from his shyly, raising a brow to remind him of watchful eyes. Perhaps we can leave seperately.... She said with a nod. You can leave late in the night, unquestioned. I can leave early morn, and give the excuse of going for a morning ride. We'll meet at the bottom of the hill, near the field and grove. There are two large boulders there -- with no earthy purpose. It is there....we shall escape. She said softly with a smile.

Looking to him warmly, she resisted the urge to touch him affectionately -- something Legolas was having trouble with, or so it seemed. Restraining himself. She stood and with a nod, left him to sit in the garden.

Later that evening, the celebration began. It was a merry feast; not large by any means, but enough people to have a crowd. Cosette was seated beside Malacai, with Legolas on his other side. Occasionally, Malacai would drift his hand to her thigh, and suck on her neck gently while whispering suggestive words into her ear.

Re: Of Love and War
It took tremendous urge not to strike the king for his actions, but he didn't. Legolas remained stilled and appear uneffected outside, while within he was fuming. Light dancing and soft music echoed and the chattering of lords and ladies. It was then on the next song a lady asked him to dance, and though he did not want to, he complied for the sake of not being stingy and only for Cosette the queen. The prince held the woman, who was as tall up to his jaw, close and danced. His hand on her waist while the other within hers. She giggled slightly as they danced to teh beat of the slow and medolic song. He wished with all his heart it was Cosette, but sadly it could not be, not until tomorrow.

Re: Of Love and War
Cosette had watched Legolas dance with this women, and she too, felt a pang of jealousy. But at least her elven prince did not seem to be enjoying himself.

As the song ended, he returned to their table. At which point, Malacai suggested, Why don't you dance with our elven guest, my dear? I'm sure he'd enjoy his own kin more than the women we have to offer here. I agree. Elves have it all. He kissed her lingering on the cheek, before helping her stand. He looked to Legolas. Be a good lad, and dance with one of your own. Then, should you wish it, you are excused. I know elves aren't ones for large crowds. My wife can't stand them either. He winked. It was then Malacai waved them off and began to speak with other lords about business.

Cosette and Legolas walked to the dance floor and began. How she longed to be close with him -- but there were too many eyes about. Too many who would tell, if any affection was displayed. I believe I shall retire early... She said, loud enough for easedroppers to hear. Such parties do not suit my elven solidity.

Re: Of Love and War
"And I think I shall as well. I have a long journey from here to Mirkwood, and much have my strength and wits about me. I would like to thank you all for such kind hospitalities you have shown me. May men and elves live together peacefully. Good night my lord, my lady." And he bowed to both. Legolas wanted to sweep her off her feet and whisk her away, but he would be beheaded if he dared such affection in public. And so with graceful strides he walked down the halls and to his room. Silently he closed the door and began pack his things, it would be a long ride, and he should get what sleep he could before departure, even if it was just a nap.

Re: Of Love and War
Yet again, the door softly clicked. The Prince had not even heard feet -- just the door. He turned to see Cosette standing there, looking to him quietly. Her face was neutral, yet her eyes were warm. A deep chocolate brown that shone with admiration. Wilt thou leave without formal farewell?.... She asked, bearing a hint of a smile. They had to be proper and unaffectionate all day. A hard thing to do when attraction was deep and love was around them. Legolas swam in her blood now -- like an addiction.

Re: Of Love and War
Legolas turned and found the fair maiden cosette in his room. A small smile was on his lips as he set his pack down and glided over to her on soft feet. He had not even heard her enter. slowly and with the utmost care, he took her hand in his and brought it to his lips--placing a kiss upon it, but he did not let go right away. He simply stared into her dark eyes with a slight sadness that he had to leave her here for the night. "A farewell that I dread upon taking, but we shall meet again soon, Lady Cosette. It is not a farewell, for we will meet again. You will by in my heart always. I would never forget your kindess to me.."

The prince had by now pulled her close to him and leaned forward to kiss her on the cheek. Though it would be a short time, he was already missing her tender embrace, the warmth of her body and breath upon his skin. The lips that captured him, and the deep eyes that ensnared him into love and the abyss of passion. What they shared would never ever leave his heart and mind.

Re: Of Love and War
Cosette smiled and nuzzled his nose as he kissed her cheek. Good night, sweet prince. Until tomorrow... She said with a nod. Running a hand down his arm, she left him to pack. Cosette returned to her own room, dreading this night. Normally, Malacai always had too much wine....and came back in the mood for affection. Of course, Cosette never denied him. She still could not -- being married, was almost like legallized prostitution among men, as far as she was concerned.

Though their love was one sided -- and Cosette didn't return it. She never would. When reaching the room, she changed into a light, thin, night-gown, and got into the large bed. She stayed up, knowing that if she slept, Malacai would simply begin -- and continue until she came to consciousness. There were times she'd woken up with him atop her, kissing and already beginning to undress her.
