Re: What type of Trojans we own
have owned a 1983 10 meter trojan international aftcabin express since 1990... it is the 10 meter express with the aftcabin unit installed but NO flybridge ... only 23 were manufactured ... repowered with fuel injected crusaders two years ago ... navy top replaced with full camper canvas
Re: What type of Trojans we own
Happy and Proud owner of F-44 Convertible (SportFish). Have owned it since 1989 and love it. It is my understanding that it was used at the 1977 Annopolis in-the-water show. VT-903 Cummins Turbos. 700 gal fuel capacity. Fresh Water Only! Original owner was in Chicago. Sold to Doctor in Toledo area and I bought from him in June 1989. Any others left out there?? One of only 3 delivered to Great Lakes I am told.
1985 13 meter
I have a 1985 13 meter express with twin DD 671TIB's 485hp. I previously owned a 1989 10 meter express mid-cabin that I lost to fire. I can't say enough good things about both boats.
The 1990 and before Trojans are by far one of the best boats available. When I was looking to replace the 10 meter, I told the brokers not to even bother trying to show me anything after 1990.
My ideal Trojan would be a 10 meter with twin 350 diesels. I was going to repower a 10 meter but I ran into this 13 meter and just could not pass it up. I haven't seen one that has been kept as well as this one. It was a freshwater boat until Dec 1999. I never realized what a difference there was in freshwater verses saltwater.
I'm looking for a 10 meter express mid-cabin or express now, so if anyone knows of any freshwater 10's please let me know.
fresh water 10 meter
In may i bought a freshwater 10 meter mid cabin express & you are right freshwater is the way to go what a difference.
Contact this broker john maynard 518 399-3062 i bought mine through him and he is a super straight shooter. i took a 250 mi drive in the winter to meet him to see the boat. he knew i had a long ride to see it and it was better than he represented. i had to call him last week for some info and he told me that he had another one available. give him a call tell him stan that bought ron's boat told you to call. (i dont get a comm but i'd like him to know) good luck
Re: 1967 24' Trojan Sea Skiff Bimini
1978 F-44 Convertible (Sport Fisherman) - These were built in a very limited quantity. VT903 Cummins Turbo powered. 700 gal. fuel capacity. Trying to keep the boat as classic and original as I am able to. Only in past couple of months did I allow my wife and kids to talk me into a new stereo system and I trashed the Pioneer (with 8-track) that was still being used. Excellent Boat in far better than average condition and I love it!!!!!

Re: What type of Trojans we own
We owned our 1972 Trojan F-36 since 1982. It has been heavily modified, with Cummins 555cu.in.Turbo Diesels, and custom interior. It is built like a tank and has taken part in many local events with the Coast Guard Aux. including 1984 Olympics, Transpac Race Starts, Catalina Island Ski Races, West Sail Tall Ships Parade, etc. It is a Great Boat!

Trojans we own
I purchased a 1984 F36 in December so I have not used it much yet. However, although I don't have any "major" problems, I am doing about 10 years of routine maintenance this winter. Love the boat. Love the layout. Just not having any fun..yet.
another sea skiff
way way way up north in canada there is a comparible yacht to yours that we are currently re furbishing as well. i would be extremely interested to see some photos of yours, wanna compare notes?...my name is Robb
36' Trojan Tri Cabin
I just purchased a 1973 36' Tri Cabin. I have owned many yachts and this is by far the best lay out yet.
The V drives could cause problems as mine has now, with a broken strut.
Does anyone know about the A/C, any issues that I need to know about that?
Thank You!

What type of Trojans we own
I own a 1985 F 36 Classic Convertible. I bought the boat in1993. It is powered with Twin 454 Crusaders. The boat is used for fishing and crusing in Barnegat Bay, N.J. and the Atlantic via the Barnegat Inlet.
1978 E30
"My Lady" has been in my wife's family for 20 years before we brought her down to retire in FL (the boat, not us, unfortunately). She is a well built boat, and we enjoy it. Use it for cruising and fishing along the Gulf Coast.
Always looking for more information and talking to other Trojan owners.
