~girl catahoula owner needs help
Hey yall ~ jess here and I would be very intrested in finding out more about my catahoula Mississippi Blues and his capibilties he is almost 2 years old and I guess you could say he is a victim of divorce.. My boyfriend of 4 years and I decided to get a catahoula for him to hunt with .. wellllllll about 9 months into owning *Blu* we split up and I decided to keep *Blu* with me since I had fallen in love with him!! Well since my boyfriend and I are not together anymore *blu* doesnt get to go with his nature and hunt or bay or tree anything ... I dont know much about hunting I left all that to my boyfriend so now I feel like I have to step up to the plate and get *blu* out there.. where should I even start.. ??? He is so intrested in everything-sights-smells & RUNNING.. He is a Running fool and lord help you if your in his way because he's going to tackle you NFL football style.. I feel like I am holding him back.. Mississippi Blues came from such a great bloodline and true working down father and mother - Kerry Ikerd's - Gator... Kerry Ikerd owned " Hunt Inc. " I've seen videos and hunts and I feel like both *blu* and myself are missing out on alot.. any advice would be so greatly appreciated.. ~ dixie jess ~ Memphis,Tn

male owner of catahoulas with some advise
